The words were a balm to Claire and she nodded gratefully to Zeke, riffling back through the paperwork to double check. The name, address, and phone number for Smith & Pollock were printed neatly underneath her occupation, "paralegal." She still felt a pang of anxiety at the possibility of a lay off, but that was a fear compiled onto others that waited beneath the surface. However she had to remind herself, as she had just mentioned, that Aaron did well enough for himself, and that they had planned on this should they have a child. A Raevan, should they be chosen, would be no different.

"Thank you, Zeke." With that, Claire took the offered form from Zeke and penned in the information about Clarence's company. Holmes Produce was jotted onto the name line, the main office address in Durem below that, the phone number for Aaron's office (likely to be picked up by his secretary, a drow by the name of Suzanna), and her husband's job title in the appropriate slot, "Business Operations Manager." Clarence still handled a lot of the major contract negotiations but Aaron was quick on the uptake, even having handled some for the smaller local farms and groceries. His schedule would likely open up more when Clarence finally decided to retire, but that was unlikely as the man loved to work too much. 'With a wife like his, though, I can see why,' Claire thought with a slight grimace, flipping through the paperwork one final time.

At last, all the needed info was written down, and she sighed, leaning back into the chair. "I think that about does it." She stacked the papers and tapped them together on the tabletop, pushing them towards Zeke. Misha snorted in his sleep and awoke when he heard Claire shift in the chair, knowing that their time there was drawing to a close. "If anything changes, I'll let you know, but.. is there anything else?" Claire said the last words with a mix of nerves and trepidation; she still wondered if she had been too hasty.

He took the papers back and got right to work looking over each page in turn. She had filled in everything, signed each appropriate spot, and had left no date line blank. At the end of the form the only things left for his own nomenclature.

"Well your paperwork is in order! You didn't miss any spots!" He printed his name, the date, and the signed with a flourish before slipping the packet into the folder he had made just for her. "So other than that...If you have anymore questions about the Lab or the project or anything, feel free to ask now! If not, I think we're good."

He beamed - she had not come across as hasty to him - but then a look of 'oh wait stupid' crossed his face and Zeke was dipping off for a scrap of paper to write upon. When he was done he passed it over to her.

"This is my cellphone number, email address, and home address. If you have any questions pop up that need an answer like RIGHT NOW, feel free to call me or email me! Also once I put your info into our system, I'll be adding you to our mailing list so any get-togethers we throw from now on, you'll most certainly be invited to!"

'That's that, then,' Claire thought as Zeke rifled through her paperwork. The first steps were completed, and despite her initial feelings of anxiety and haste (goodness, she had not even talked to Aaron yet), they were tempered with a sort of excitement. It felt good to be part of something big again, and this something would possibly give her what she has always dreamed of having. She stood up as he offered the slip of paper with his contact information and leaned forward, scanning it quickly. Misha took note of the change of movement when she tugged the leash up and he, too, stood, tail wagging and eyes attentive. The man on the otherside of the desk was very friendly and had been more than helpful, even with the mix up that had brought her here in the first place. She smiled gratefully at Zeke and folded the paper carefully, placing it in her purse.

"I don't think I have any more questions, and if I do, I know where to look." She reached a slender hand over the desk to shake Zeke's own. "Thank you, Zeke, so much. I'm glad to be aboard." With one more glance at her person, making sure all the paperwork was with Zeke, his contact info safe in her purse, and the bill she had provided as proof of residence also tucked away, she straightened, readjusting the hold on both leash and bag. "I'll be looking forward to the first event."
