Redder furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Crystal with a skeptical look. He didn't complain like people would expect him to do. Instead, he scrambled into the kitchen with an attitude behind him while mouthing off some words to blow off some steam. Speaking of steam, his job was to cook food for the restaurant. "So what...fire can be used for cooking too." He stared at his hand, and closed them. What he said was completely absurd. There was more to a chef than just using fire. The kitchen was his line of duty and he was going to succeed. The kitchen was somewhat disorganized. "Now this isn't going to cut it." He observed the mess that was the kitchen. Redder wore an apron and a hair-net over his flaming head of hair. He looked rather ridiculous with the hair-net on, but he had a problem with stray specks of sparks falling from his head. Other than that, he wanted to look a little humane towards people. Doing something like that was not like him. He didn't want to risk burning anyone. Redder collected the scattered pots and pans on the floor. "Mmmm.." He placed the cups, spoons, knives, and forks into the rack for proper organization. The kitchen was at a acceptable temperature so there was no need to adjust the thermal-stat. He set the pots and pans in the double-doored cabinet below the sink and set the deep-fryer on the counter. The stove needed a match, but Reddy could light it anytime he wanted while Redder was in the middle of preparing to cook. "I wonder how three people can handle a restaurant..." Redder dug in his ear, but washing his hands before doing anything related to cooking. Reddy hovered beside him and smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, we'll manage somehow."

➸ Indigo gives the man a bow of thanks before heading to the back room to prepare to get to work. The back is quite small but a little bigger than the office and cluttered with miscellaneous things. Indigo notices a uniform draping of the side of a table sitting in the middle of the room. He only assumed that he was supposed to wear that for his job. However when he gets a closer look at it he realizes how large it is. Indigo faces drops remembering how tiny he was.“Oh great now even this restaurant is making fun of me.”Knowing for sure the uniform wasn’t going to work, he decided to look around for a smaller one. Unfortunately there only seemed to papers and junk in the room. How was going to ever find one in this mess? He had no other choice, if he was to get anything else done he had to clean up the room. He begins to scatter all around, placing important paper in the cabinets that happened to be appropriately labeled. He comes across a large pile of trash that he then transports to the trash can nearby. After the pile was cleared he looked back to notice a locker.“Hmmm I bet ill find the uniforms in there”.Indigo quickly thrusts the locker door open and is greeted by what he was searching for. Furthermore to his luck there was a uniform that was just his size. He quickly changes in the fancy get up and takes a deep breath.“Okay it’s finally time to get to work”. He walks out of the room and into the main dining hall.
Up to six rambunctious, freeloading male children scrambled into the building with hungry stomachs. They were on their way from school to grab something to eat. The leader, who was in the front was the first to walk in. He sported a childish grin and smelled the aroma coming from the restaurant. This made his other buddies react the same and made their stomachs churn in unison. The kids walked up to the counter and a member of their group tapped the bell for service.

➸As soon as he enters the dining area, he is greeted by his first group of customers. Even though they were just kids, Indigo was excited to begin working. Indigo quickly walks over to them.“Hello welcome to Plates, I see that you are a party of six, please follow me."Indigo was surprised with himself, had never worked or been to a restaurant before, but he was still acting like a real waiter. Maybe he was a natural all along and didn’t know it. He leads the kids over to a large empty table near the restrooms. He sets down menus in front of each one of them and pulls out a notepad and a pen.“Alright what would you fine gentleman, like to drink?”.
The children had made up their minds after huddling in a group exchanging whispers.
Kid Number 1: I'd go for chicken stir fry. Kid Number 2: Turkey legs, please. Kid Number 3: Pasta with meatballs! Kid Number 4: I'd like some grilled steak. Kid Number 5 Two slices of your pepperoni pizza! Kid Number 6 Cheese bread-sticks, please.

➸The boys begin to make there orders as Indigo struggles to write them all down. The job wasn’t had but these kids were all talking at the same time. When he was sure had gotten them all he heads over to the kitchen.“Okay, one order of chicken stir fry, one turkey legs, one pasta with meatballs, one grilled steak, one pepperoni pizza, and one cheese bread-sticks please.”After telling Redder the orders, he heads over to be the drinks were and begins to fill six cups with water and then setting them at the table full of playful kids.“Okay they are making your orders know so wait patiently”.
Once Redder heard the orders, he scrambled to the kitchen and begun his cooking montage. He was lucky to stumble upon a simple cook book to read and study over in order of not totally messing up the order. The montage consisted of his consistent failures and close-calls. To be honest, it was more comical than culinary. The kitchen became slightly messy and he had clean up afterwards after every failure. The turkey legs was the easiest thing to cook. He preheated the oven to 350 degrees, and let the turkey legs stand upright after the oven reached the right temperature. He let them roast uncovered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until the legs were golden brown. Feeling very accomplished, he move onto the pepperoni pizza. He heated the oven to 425 degrees and sprinkled cornmeal on 12-inch square pizza stone. He spreaded pizza sauce over crust to within 1/2 inch of edges. Topped it with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. And sprinkled it with some good Parmesan cheese. Now letting the pizza dough sit in the oven for a period of time, he took it out with his bare hands instead of using mittens to carefully avoid the hot surface. He was a fire mage after all so he'd have no problem. Slicing two slices of pizza, he laid them on a plate along with napkins. The turkey legs were treated the same as the two slices of pizzas. "Turkey Leg, and two slices of Pepperoni Pizza...check." He was quite the cook. Redder was actually doing something efficient for once. Placing the culinary delicacies on the counter for Indigo, he went back in the kitchen and tended back to his work on completing the orders. Now, for the bread-sticks. He made the dough and placed a 1/4 cup warm water in the bowl of a mixer. Redder sprinkled it in the yeast and set it aside until it was foamy, about 5 minutes. He added the flour, butter, sugar, fine salt and 1 1/4 cups plus 2 tablespoons warm water; mixed it with the paddle attachment until a slightly sticky dough forms, 5 minutes.
He kneaded the dough by hand on a floured surface until it was very smooth and soft and rolled it into a log-like shape. Redder preheated the oven to 400 degrees and brushed the breadsticks with tablespoons of butter and sprinkled it with teaspoon kosher salt. He baked it until it was golden brown. Afterwards, he combined the remaining teaspoon salt with garlic powder and oregano. Steamy hot bread-sticks were served up hot and laying out on the counter along with the two slices of pizza and the turkey leg for Indigo to take up. "Indigo! They're ready. Tell the other customers to wait for awhile. They're meal will be coming momentarily!"

➸After assuring the group that there food was being prepared, Indigo walks by several tables and notices as one was still full of trash and dirty dishes. Indigo lets out a sigh as he says“Whose job is it clear these tables? … Oh wait it's mine. Heheheh.”Indigo begins to clear the table of the trash first. He then grabs the dirty plates and cups. He walks to the back were Crystal was but when he enters she is nowhere to be found.“Were they heck did she go?”He shakes his head as he leaves them next to the sink. He would have did them himself but he had his own job he needed to do. Indigo heads back out as Redder calls out for him. Grabbing the plates really quickly, he heads back to the table full of kids. He sets down the turkey legs in front of kid number two, the pizza in front of kid number five, and the bread sticks in front of kid number six. He then look at the other three that there orders would be done very soon.
The steamy goodness that was the spaghetti was nicely seated on its plate. Redder whirled around it, adding delicious Swedish meatballs to the delicacy. He took him some tries, but in the end he got the procedure done right. The grilled steak was laid on the plate, releasing a good aroma that would tingle the instincts of anyone's appetite. This aroma left Redder's mouth watering. But, he prevented himself from devouring it. It was the customer's, not his own. Setting the plates on the counter, he went for the last meal of the order. The chicken stir fry. He heated the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and added garlic and ginger. He added chicken and cooked 3 to 4 minutes until it started to brown while stirring it constantly. Then, he added onions, carrots, and peppers; snap peas, corn and broccoli. The soy sauce was added and cooked 2 minutes, until vegetables are crisp-tender. There you have it, a good chicken stir fry. He set the plates on the counter for Indigo to scoop em' up and bring it to the customers. "Geez, where's Crystal when you need her." Some of the dishes needed to be washed, so Redder took care of that. A chef should clean behind themselves. The tables left behind by customers were in need of cleaning, Indigo could take care of that. Crystal was absent at the workplace. Redder shrugged and continued washing the plates.

➸ Indigo takes a seat for a bit after things had quieted down a bit. He was still waiting on the other dishes to ready and he had already cleaned everything up. The job actually seemed quite easy but of course he only just started a few hours before. So far he had only gotten a table of kids but things could just get harder as the day goes on. He will never know what’s going to happen in the future, he had to wait it out and see what happens. His attention is caught once again when the last three orders were finished. Indigo quickly get up and grabs them from the counter. He walks over to the table and sets them down in front of the three remaining kids. He then asks if the other three needed anything. He refill several of thier waters and then takes a seat once again to wait for some kind of new activity.
The first fed were already in their meals, chowing down while the rest were mildly impatient. Just as the waiter had said, the rest of the meals were on their way. The meal had arrived and they joined the first fed in their own version of eating. They all said in unison:
Kid Number 1: Thanks for the meal! Kid Number 2: Thanks for the meal! Kid Number 3: Thanks for the meal! Kid Number 4: Thanks for the meal! Kid Number 5: Thanks for the meal! Kid Number 6: Thanks for the meal!
...As if they're minds were linked. One of them said jinx to keep the others quiet.

After the children took their departure, a trio of well-known thieves entered the restaurant. They were known as the Thief Brothers. All three gathered in attendance and each of them held a large bag that carried stolen items. They were going to rob the restaurant of their money and if anyone stood in their way, there would be dire consequences.
Thief Number 1: This is a stick-up, don't resist! Thief Number 2: Give us whatever riches you have! Thief Number 3: ...
...The third brother of the Thief Brothers raised his gun into the air, firing a bullets into the ceiling to scare everyone. He blew off the motif and later brought it back into his robes. They wouldn't expect a trio of mages on their job, now wouldn't they?

➸Indigo gets a moment of silence after the group of children leave. He begins to wonder who would be coming in next.“Maybe it will be a family, or an old couple or maybe even the mayor”. His thoughts are broken when there is a loud bang as the door is quickly thrust open. Three men walk in carrying a bag full of who knows what. By the looks of them they were there for more than just the food and good service. That reasoning was proven correct when one of the men shot off a gun at the ceiling. They then yelled out that they wanted all of the money the restaurant had collected. Indigo lets out a deep sigh of annoyance.“Who do they think they are? Well whatever they choose the wrong place to rob because know they got to deal with us”. Indigo gets up and walks over to greet there new guests.
➸“Hello welcome to plates, I’m glad you came but I’m going to have to ask you Gentleman to leave.”Indigo takes a close look at the bandits. There faces were covered to hide their faces but that was to be expected. What kind of bandit would show off their faces for everyone to see anyway? By their height he could tell they were young but not that young. Being the fact that he was shorter than most people he had gotten accustom to studying other people’s heights. He has known become an expert in guessing peoples ages by looking who tall they were. By the look in their eyes it was obvious they meant business and that there was no way they were just going to leave after he politely asked. Indigo had to at least try even if it would not work, that just how he is. He stands there waiting for their response, which was problem not going to be good.
While Redder was cleaning dishes, he heard something just beyond the counter. It sounded like gun-fire. He stopped what he was doing and hurried to the front of the restaurant dining area. "What the hell is going on?" Redder was too much of in a hurry to change out of his apron and toque. He jumped on the counter, with his index fingers pointed directly at the Thief Brothers who were pointing their fire-arms at Indigo. He wasn't going to let them have their way. Redder ignited his fingers on fire to prepare his attack. "The waiter said to leave.." Redder made himself heard, crouching down on the counter. Fire bullets came flying out of his index/middle fingers at sub-sonic speed and it pelted the floor in a parallel line (avoiding Indigo and hurting anyone nearby) to scare the band of thieves. The scene resembled gun turrets being shot out from a air-craft to ambush lower targets. "This restaurant isn't up for this kind of bull. Now move along, you're interrupting meals." He was giving the one last chance. Or else, things were about to get messy.
