His face reddened and he ducked his head to hide it. Awesome? Nawwww.
"Don't make it sound like that," he frowned. "You've probably won tons of spars, I bet. Most of the people who want to spar with me are just higher ranked." ... Which, come to think of it, just wasn't fair. They were all bullies.

She gave him yet another confused look. "Why fight with higher ranks? They're just going to kick your a**. You'll never get better that way." Something could be said for always fighting people weaker than you too, of course.
"You should keep it up though. If you can get that dragon under control," Innuendo entirely intentional, "You're gonna kick a**." She winced as she sat up, bruises still kind of tender. "You certainly handed me mine."
She grinned and said, "So if I threaten to sue, will you buy me lunch?"

"They uh... target me, I guess?" He didn't really know the answer to that. He didn't often go out looking for spars on his own.
The innuendo was lost on Feng, but he continued to blush anyways under the praise. He stood with her a shrugged weakly. "If you say so. I'd be happy just to survive."
He tried, and failed, not to let his shock show at her question. "You... you want to have lunch with me?" He turned his head slightly, as if subtly looking to see if another, more handsome hunter had shown up when he wasn't looking, but they were still the only two around. "Uh...You didn't hit your head or anything when you fell, right?"

Now it was just deadpan awe. Awe that someone could put themselves down so many times in one minute. That was just downright impressive. Chel had to put credit where credit was due. Feng had lowest esteem in the world.
"You're kind of a loser, aren't you?" she asked with a bark of laughter, accompanied with a pat on his back after standing up. "Yes I'm asking to have lunch with you. You're a funny guy." Compliments. Wow. Woah. Feng try to keep calm.
Honestly, Chel just wanted free food. "If you wanna chicken out that's cool too. No need to hurt yourself over lunch."

His heart fell as she laughed at him and he hung his head. He should have realized it was a joke.
Except...?
He tilted his head up just enough to see her face and smiled tentatively. "Really?" She started to give him an out but he shook his head before she could even finish. "No! No I'm not chickening out. I'll buy you lunch, no problem. Yeah. I'd love to." He grinned at her shyly. "It's the least I could do, right? For knocking you out and all."

"Damn straight," Chel agreed with a haughty grin.
She then blinked as she realized something. An impish look crossed her face and she said, "Gosh here you are asking to take me out to eat, and I don't even know your name." Nevermind that it had been Chel that had asked him for lunch.
Nevertheless, Chel put a hand on her forehead and said, "What a fiend~"

Oh god he was so rude! "Oh! Oh my god, I'm Feng. I'm sorry. What's your name?"
He winced as h waited for a response. Logically, he knew that she'd been the one to initiate this and that there really wasn't much that could go wrong, but that didn't matter much to Feng. He was too worried to listen to logic.

Chel rolled her eyes. She had to mentally remind herself that this guy wasn't the sharpest tack in the drawer- so she'd have to bite back on the playful teasing. Maybe even the playfulness. Maybe it was better to just ditch now.
Nah, that wouldn't be very nice. "Name's Chelsea, but people call me Chel. Like the girl from ... Oh nevermind." Months of people going "what's portal??" or "I haven't heard of that game ..." had Chel biting her tongue on the explanation. "Nice to meet you Feng."
She turned back towards the HQ, and in turn, the cafeteria. "Now let's go get that food."
