Tryce smirked down towards her, “It would be a lie to say it was my first time.” He started walking forward before pausing and looking back at her with a small frown. As easy as it would be for him to just slip away into the darkness as usual the umbreon felt bad about leaving this one behind. Especially considering the fact that the gang probably was still roaming about the streets looking for an umbreon and now an eevee. Even if they hadn’t gotten a good look at her the poke features stood out too much.

“I suppose I will be taking you home then.” Tryce looked back towards the eevee firmly, “Don’t even think of arguing against it either else I’ll just carry you somewhere else.” His tail swished through the air behind him as he waited on her answer. Reaching up to pull his hair back into a loose ponytail Tryce winced once more at the faint pain in his arm, “Just give me one second…” Looking up at the perfect moment the umbreon allowed moonlight to shine down on him. A shimmering effect happened as his cuts from earlier and the one that was currently stinging started to close up. Opening his eyes again Tryce ran a hand over his clear skin before looking down at the eevee, “So which way do we go?”

Her eyes widened as the male seemed to shimmer. His cut... It was gone! ...Now why couldn't she have an ability like that?! Stupid wussy ability she had...

Fluffy tail twitching slightly, Truffles pressed her lips into a pout. Why did this guy need to walk her home? "Aatami's gonna freak if he sees some strange guy following me back," she grumped as she turned and headed down the path they were on. She needed a moment to recognize where she was. The town looked different in the moonlight... The edges were softer, and the corners were darker. It seemed so empty... "This way," she huffed. Luckily, this guy had carried her in the direction of home, so they didn't need to walk back past the thugs. "Which way is your home? You don't hafta follow me the whole way."

Tryce just chuckled, “After all that you’re worried about some guy freaking out? Don’t worry I won’t be seen if that’s what you’re worried about.” Hiding in the shadows would be easy for him if that was how she preferred to go about in the woods. He was just glad that he had managed to get them away safely. It would have been a hassle to fight with someone else there…his golden gaze dropped slightly as he looked towards the eevee. It was okay for him to get wounded over and over again, but if something happened to that girl then he would have been slightly –ever so slightly- tempted to feel guilty for placing her in such a situation. Then again she should have known better than to nap in such a place like that, especially at night. Without a word he just sighed at the thought of her daring spunk before turning back to face the forest’s edge which loomed before them.

Oddly enough he felt more like an invader here than he did in the darker alleys. Something about the woods, the peacefulness of it bothered him. Ever since he had changed he felt odd wandering the area where pokémon would be. A quiet smirk of amusement at his predicament flickered on his face. To be neither a human nor a pokémon…what a strange life that star had given him. This girl as well was just like him, probably no real place to call home and no trainer to claim her yet that was better. Many humans he had learned were quite nasty to creatures that resembled them more so than to pokémon.

Her question interrupted her thoughts and Tryce looked towards the eevee, “Telling you my home would just ruin the fun, no?” He smiled mischievously, “I don’t want you stalking outside my doors to cause trouble now.” It was far easier to tease her than to admit to his roaming habits. He had a small place in the city, but even then he rarely stayed there and preferred to bother a friend instead, “So enough with the questions let’s just get you home.” Turning away he took a step before pausing to grin back at the girl next to him, “Or should I carry you again?”

Truffles growled through her teeth. "He's not just some guy! He's my brother!" She snorted and shook her head. Why was she getting mad at this guy? He knew nothing about her or her brother! "Don't touch me. My legs work just fine." Stuffing her hands deep into her pockets, she walked with a quick and light step along the path, the two of them making barely any noise. "Fun? I just wanna know where to avoid," she grumped shortly.

What an unusual evening. The boss man had forgotten about her, she'd overslept on her break, she'd met this dude following her, she'd sorta been attacked by shadowy thugs, and then carried over the rooftops and escorted home. Odd day indeed. She glanced over at the male every once in a while, waiting for when he would stop being seen as promised. Yet, even as they got deeper into the woods, closer to home... she didn't one hundred percent want the guy to vanish.

That was stupid! Lifting her chin, she marched on ahead. No point in thinking about some guy she would probably never see again. He'd brought those thugs anyway. She didn't need Aatami exposed to such things! Nope. Nope...

Smiling at how easily she got riled up by his comment Tryce nodded, “Okay then so you’re worried about what your brother thinks…got ya.” The smirk just grew as she picked up her speed at the threat of being carried again. Was it that bad to get carried by him? The umbreon chuckled softly under his breath as he followed the girl. He didn’t even know her name…but before he could ask he had already merged in with the shadows of the trees.

Not speaking anymore Tryce just silently hopped from tree limb to tree limb, following the eevee as she moved through the forest. He would see her home tonight then go about his way. In the morning it should be fine to head back home to the city. Odd that he slightly regretted not even learning her name, but still he wouldn’t see her again. So it shouldn’t matter. Nodding to himself the umbreon continued on his silent watch over the girl as she headed home.
