Alyssa smiled as Aoi looked happy too. It was nice to make someone happy and be able to help them out. She looked around as they walked making sure to pick the best paths and the ones with the least amount of rotten fruit. She giggled as she saw Aoi blow her bangs out of her face. She blushed and ducked her head when Aoi said that. She shifted her weight a bit rather embarrassed since she didn't think she was doing anything that amazing. All she had done was help and she wasn't even doing that much just offering to show where water was and give food. That wasn't hard a all.
"Really Aoi that's the least I can do. I'm glad I can be of some help to you. I hope it can be of a lot of help." She grinned when the mare laughed and ducked her head more. She continued to walk and stopped at a stream. "Here if you need something to drink right now. The water is cold and fresh. I'll point out where others are for you." She grinned and waited to see if Aoi wanted any water.

Aoi saw Alyssa blush when she told her she was modest, and held in a giggle. Yep. Definitely modest, she thought lightheartedly. "Well, you definitely are a huge help, Alyssa, she told her with a smile.
Aoi leaned down to drink from the stream that Alyssa had led her too. It was cleaner water than she was used to, since she had spent so much time in the south recently. She held in a shudder as she thought about her experience with the evil-aligned Azrein that she had to convince that she wasn't good-aligned. It would have been problematic for her if they had found out....
She threw those thoughts out of her head as she finished drinking from the stream. "Thank you for leading me to the water," she told Alyssa gratefully. Aoi had really needed the water to help get rid of the lingering smells of the rotten fruit.

Alyssa smiled at Aoi and shrugged. She grinned very happily when Aoi said she was a huge help. "I'm glad I can be such a huge help to you. I hope I can help you out enough to be able to get where you need to go and have everything you need to get there." She smiled right back.
She watches Aoi drink making sure she was still ok. She drank some of the water too since she was really thirsty. She nodded head head and grinned. "You're very welcome Aoi. I hope that helped get rid of any lingering smell of the rotten fruit. I'll show you another stream if you like and some more places to get food."

Aoi smiled broadly as Alyssa finally admitted that she was being such a large help. "It certainly helped get rid of that awful smell, that's for sure," she said, letting out a little laugh. "And another stream and places to get food would be fantastic." She knew that the three things she would need for the rest of her traveling would be food, water, and places to sleep. The latter wouldn't be hard, since there were plenty of caves and forests in the area that she could sleep in for protection. With Alyssa helping her with the food and water, she was all set to succeed in finishing her journey.

Alyssa smiled right back as she saw the broad grin Aoi gave her. It was nice to be able to help and make someone smile. She chuckled and nodded her head. "I'm relieved it help get rid of that awful smell. It was pretty bad. Never really had it smell that bad before but then again I don't usually go that way." She laughed too and grinned. She nodded her head. "Sure I can show you those things. It's not that hard. Is there anything else you want to know? Or that I can do to help you out?" She watched the mare and grinned. Though she was worried about her and what would happen.

Aoi laughed with Alyssa. She was feeling much better after having Alyssa to help her and to cheer her up. "Hmmm, I can't think of anything else you could do to help.... I mean, you're showing me where to find food and water, and you've carried on a delightful conversation," she answered cheerfully. Aoi was sure she could get to her destination safely, as long as she didn't make any detours.
