Perhaps the rather surprised expression on the woman's face betrayed her, she couldn't help it only because it connected within her own mind the reasons why she teased the poor woman endlessly when they were younger. She was attracted to her, but in her ignorant age she had lashed out and teased instead. Jerarda had always imagined it would be hearself confessing her feelings towards the person she cared for, but now it was reversed.

With a war coming, was it alright to let love bloom?

Pushing all her worries aside for a moment she took ahold of Animah's hand, removing it from her cheek before she leaned in and properly kissed Animah back. It was a fierce kiss, one that hungered for more than just kissing and even her hand strayed to touch the inside of Animah's leg. It took a couple of minutes before Jera could think properly again and when she withdrew it felt like she was coming up to breath.

"Animah...I suppose I am just as crazy as you."

Jerarda was giving everything thought to Animah and what she was saying right now, it was hard for her to just ignore the fact she wanted to scoop the petite woman off her feet and carry her off to find a nice tree and do many naughty things to her. Chewing on her lower lip she was thinking perhaps a bit too quickly, she wanted to drag her off and take her through the jungle, speak to Rishima and introduce Animah to him as well take her back to Chibale island and get the elders blessing.

So when Animah confessed that she 'thought' she loved her she knew she had to convince her of the fact it wasn't debatable, it was love. So by taking her in her arms and moving Animah so that she was now in her lap the towering woman leaned forward to touch forheads with her.

"I think...it is time we discussed our relationship in depth and give our love a chance to bloom. I want you to come live with me in the forest Animah...do you think you can give up your home?"

Jerarda gave a small smile, her heart beating rapidly at this new development. A part of her felt a pang of regret, as she had not heard word from her good friend in awhile, but she would want to let Rishima know about this new development. Perhaps she would find him before the war started.
