Rastian couldn't help but laugh. Her hero? PLEASE! He was no hero, it was just part of his job as a Healer, in his eyes at least. Healing the body was just as important as healing the little holes in someone's confidence, such as Pahana's. All she needed was a little kick in the right spot and some advice in order to get back in gear. He smiled, took a breath, and leaned back up against the pillow.

"I'm relived that you're back on your way to becoming the radiant dancer I know you're destined to be, Pahana." He mumbled, his body relaxing. "You know, I've always had a soft spot for dancers, espescially those from the Shifter tribe. They're so pretty..."

Pahana froze in place as Rastian spoke. What did he just say? Shifter dancers were pretty? A devious smile rose onto her features before she shuffled over to his side again, leaning right up against him.

"Do you have a crush on someone from the Shifter tribe?" She squeaked. "I could totally set you up with someone! I don't remember her name but she was from a dancing troupe and she was so cool! You'd love her!"

Oh, crap, the fever again! Rastian shook his head quickly at Pahana's notion, his eyes closing in disbelief. He really had to learn to keep quiet when he was sick, he couldn't have his innermost secrets slipping out to just anyone!

"No, no, nooooooo." He groaned, rubbing his temples. "I'm in no shape to be dating right now, Pahana. Plus, I'm not really interested in finding a partner at the moment. And, even if I was, no girl would be interested in someone like me. I'm always traveling, I'm a half-breed, I'm not romantic... The list goes on, sweetheart."

"Nonsense!" Pahana exclaimed, pouting. Rastian was so silly! Sure, he was sick right now, but when he got better he would be able to win the heart of any girl he met if he just gave it a try! She folded her arms, stuck her tongue out, and rolled her eyes.

"So what if you're a half-breed?" She sighed, poking his forehead. "When did that ever stop my brother? He's bent all the rules and changed a lot of minds! Don't be so negative about yourself like that!"

Rastian chuckled. She was right, wasn't she? Yaholo was a prime example of what he, himself, could be, if he left all his negativity behind. However, his cousin was also older and wiser, despite how scatterbrained he could be. He had a lot to learn before he could even hold a candle to how epic Yaholo was. The Massif was someone he really admired and wanted to stand beside in any weather.

"I suppose I have a lot to learn, too." He replied, smiling. "I've always been negative, Pahana. I don't really know how to let it all go, at least not without feeling emotionally destroyed. Yaholo is someone who I hope to emulate in time, he's come a long way..."

Pahana nodded, her face beaming. Her brother was her idol, she couldn't live without him! If it weren't for him, she wouldn't even be alive!

"You know, if Yaholo heard you say that..." She said, looking towards the door to the hut. "I bet he'd be really happy. To know that he matters that much to you, it would make his day, maybe even his week!"

"Yeah..." Rastian mumbled, his eyes closing. Yaholo was the closest thing to a best friend he had, and anyone that close meant the world to him. He was right up there with Natsu, Viveka, Ogbonna, and the rest of his family in Mez and Zidel. He hoped that the other man knew just how important he was to him, especially since he had saved his life. He would have to repay him somehow.

"I'm going back to bed, my fever's raging..." He heaved, crawling back under the covers. "You keep practicing, okay? Show the world just what you're made of, Pahana."

Pahana smiled and tucked Rastian back into bed, before moving his hair out of his face.

"You too, Rastian." She said, kissing him on the side of his head. "Sleep well!"

With her cousin safely tucked away in bed and her job complete, Pahana twirled back out into the forests, and straight into the arms of Tahigwa's mother. The pair gave each other a look, grinned, and began to laugh. At least she hadn't toppled the poor woman over, she was already missing one leg, and she didn't need the other one to be broken by a dancer in training, that's for sure! There were only two Healers in this village, one who was on break, and another trying to get better so he could become something as legendary as her brother, Yaholo. Neither would have any time to tend to an injury as clumsily made as that!
