 Red Red blinked a bit as Geirin directed them through the event. Their demons were fighting, and from the sounds of it, they were doing good.
Well, the brown haired one, and Miss Kuzunoha were. He'd been surprised at the former, but Asuka's performance didn't surprise him at all.
However, his own demon didn't seem to be doing well...
"Pendragon...Return." he called, flipping out a tube, before spinning another tube in, before things could get too dangerous.
"Sparky...I'm counting on you."
As the green demon faded, Red sent out his oldest, and most loyal allies. A small yellow demon appearing where the Pendragon had failed.
"Do your best!"
He then paused, before gesturing to the others.
"You guys too..Don't give up." Quote: Red [Swap out Pendragon, for Sparky] Weapon: None Armor: Young Trainer's Jacket. [Allows casting of 'Recall' (5 turns after a demon has been defeated, revive it at half health. One use per battle) Accessory: Young Trainer's Hat: [Deal Additional Damage when attacking First in battle. Every subsequent attack by the Summoner Personally has a 1-4 chance of dealing a low amount of Extra Damage also.]

Jo(shu) clenched his fist, doing his best to keep up with Talisa as he could, though hearing Geirin's remark assured him everything was going well.
"Show that stone who's Boss." he called towards Talisa, gesturing a bit to keep her on attacking, while the others had varying levels of Success. Red seemed to be having trouble, but he couldn't worry about that now.....
No, right now? He had a goal, and he didn't want to shame the name of Kyouji's apprentice. So, he kept on focusing energy, watching. I believe in your strength...ever since the Arena.
Talisa kept her up assaults, her eyes fixed like the warrior she was. The stone was but another foe for her to defeat, and she was going to give it her all. She was going to destroy it.. Quote: Jo(shu): Continue Attacking Stone

 Asuka nodded to her mentor's comments, without speaking, keeping all of her focus on the task at hand.
Things seemed to be progressing alright on her end, though a few of the others seemed to be having a little bit of trouble.
"Stay focused Lilith, Destroy it!"

Yatsuda was listening to what the Great Summoner was saying, but paid it no mind of concern. He personally knew that he had enough belief in Yuki-Hime for her to be able to destroy that stone on her own. So, he put all of his hope into his demon being able to destroy the stone that was in front of her. "Focus all your attacks on one angle, Yuki!" And with that statement, the Yuki-Hime had nodded back to Yatsuda, a smile stretching across her face. "Why certainly!"Quote: Yatsuda has decided to keep Yuki-Hime attacking the stone.

Kai glanced between the group, each making adjustments as they saw fit. Well, this was a surprisingly boring test..."It looks like that stone's about had it. But is that a bead of sweat on your Demon's forehead, Jo(shu)? Perhaps you should play it safe...or not. You're call."
Kai glanced towards Asuka, and watched the Demon straighten up at it's Summoner's command. "Good, there's a deep wound in that stone, too. It's just about finished...but your Lilith looks tired too." Once again, a situational call. But did the girl of the group have the jewels to finish the job?
Kai looked over to Red, who'd summoned another demon, a move that probably spared the pendragon he'd put away."That Demon certainly looks tougher. The stone's chipped all over. One good blow might do it, but will that demon be able to tough it out?" The stone certainly did resemble those that Jo(shu) and Asuka had damaged now, much more so than before.
Finally Kai turned and looked towards Yatsuda, where- "YOU DUMBASS. Yatsuda!" The stone had shattered, and the barrier was disappearing!...and the Yuki-hime was dancing off into the distance, to gawd knows where, leaving it's Summoner behind. Kai groaned and sighed, rubbing his forehead at the headache that the last of the four was giving him. "Listen up! A Devil Summoner's demons aren't like those weak App Demons you had before! Those are forced to serve you, due to a contract. A Devil Summoner has to convince a Demon he's worthy, by being just as strong; and if necessary, sometimes shmoozing it too." The Yuki-Hime danced through the wall and disappeared, and Kai pointed as it blew one last kiss towards it's Summoner. "Did THAT look like a Demon who respected you? Just be happy she finished the barrier stone first, so you can still go accomplish your goal." He wanted to throw the last of the group off the platform, but somehow managed to resist the urge. Probably because all it would cause him would be a couple of scratches off the stone. Not even freaking worth it.
"Tch, get going already...and if you see that Demon again, this time, please the damn woman!" There were a lot of things Demons asked for. Some simply fell for a Summoner's charm, or some were impressed with their ways with words. But some you bribed, you beat, or you just plain had to get down on your knees and beg. Whatever it was, if Yatsuda didn't want to end up a Summon-less Summoner, he was going to need to get use to it. And soon. Choose to either Attack (attempt to destroy the stone), Switch Demons (to avoid fainting or having Demons leave), or Quit (All progress on the stone will be reset. However, if your Demon may faint and you have no extras, it is a way to preserve your strength for later.)

Yuki-Hime has fled! Demons that leave their Summoner will not be Summonable for a period of time. However, they may re-appear mid-battle, or somewhere in the world, so keep your eyes out for them. And they also sissy out and return to you when you find the bastards, too.

Asuka's brow furrowed at Kai's comment, she shook her head slightly, "Better safe than sorry." She retrieved a second tube from her belt, and held both of them out, one recalling Lilith, the other summoning Alraune in her place. Maybe not quite as powerful as Lilith, but he was the next in line as far as her demon's strength went, and one of the demon's who had been with her the longest. "Alraune, Finish the job!" She commanded.
The demon simply nodded, and lined up a strike on the stone. Her Alraune was never much of a talker. Quote: Asuka has substituted Lilith for Alraune.

Jo(shu) took a deep breath, as Kai noticed he was starting to tire slightly. He wiped the small bit of sweat from his face, as he gestured.
"Talisa, Finish the Job!" Jo(shu) Commanded, gesturing with his hands. He could swap her out, but he believed she could handle it. Anything less would be an insult to her strength...And he had to match that strength, if he was going to remain a Devil Summoner.
Talisa grinned, before redoubling her efforts, and moving to strike down the stone. She'd done so much damage so far, just a little bit more would be enough to finish her job..... Quote: Jo(shu): Continue Attacking Stone

Red Red nodded as Kai's comments came around. It was tougher, but would he be able to finish the job? Red gripped his hat with one hand, and turned it around.
"Sparky, Knock it FLAT." Red delcared, showing that even someone who tried to be calm, cool, and collected could get fired up in a situation like this. He may have had a bad start with Pendragon, but with Sparky out, there was no way he was going to make a fool of himself now!Quote: Red: Turns around his hat! Now, Yatsuda had screwed up big time. As he had focused on Yuki-Hime breaking the stone, he had opened his eyes to noticing that, although the stone was broken and the barrier was fading, Yuki-Hime had gone off and was disserting him. As the Great Summoner was chewing him off, and for good reason since it was just only a few hours ago he was said app summoner. And with submission to having failed, he had pulled himself together and was ready for what else became of the group. Just because he had lost his only demon he could readily access didn't mean that he was useless... It just meant that he had to work around doing things. Cause every magician doesn't openly display their tricks. Also, when he next finds Yuki, Yatsuda did agree to give her a good talking to.Quote: Yatsuda has entered into the west area

"That's one." The stone exploded, and the backlash caused Talisa to collapse. It seemed like she had just enough strength, though the curse was unusually strong on these stones. But telling Jo(shu) it wasn't his fault wasn't worth jack squat.
"And another..." The stone broke, and in a flash Sparky remained, the barrier fading away in front of Red.
"Huh, so you were last." Asuka's demon, Alraune, finished the stone with a powerful strike, and Kai nodded as the barrier began fading away thanks to the young Summoner's work.
"That settles that. I think you guys had better go inside before some demons appear. Although it's strange that we haven't seen anything yet." Kai motioned for them to follow Yatsuda's lead, and to go ahead to break the seals. There was a point in what he said though, and perhaps they weren't use to these training halls most Summoners used, but the silence was ominous regardless. "One more thing. For any of you who haven't already acquired one already, I have spare blades from Doctor Victor here. Remember that a Summoner's weapon has special properties, so it might be a good idea to take one. That includes you, Yatsuda." Kai held out a small bundle of weapons, and after giving them a moment to take them, motioned for them to enter their respective doors. Quote: Broken, Broken,

Kai has offered all of the Summoners a Renki Dama (x1). The Renki is a blade with a Demon's soul, and may be forged into more powerful Demon Swords, but is itself not unique. The Renki Dama allows a Summoner to use their Magnetite (Mag) in a special attack; in the Renki's case, it is a fury of slashes that do small non-elemental damage to all enemies, for a portion of their Mag.
Kai has also offered the Summoners each a Detective's Revolver. Can slow down or even stun weak demons (and rarely slay them), it is mostly meant for lowering their maneuverability, but can be altered with skills to become more useful...

Jo(shu) did a silent fist-pump in victory as the barrier fell. He watched his demon fall, apparently having just enough strength to handle it. He reach for his book, before remembering he left it with that one girl.
"Swear to God..." he mouthed to himself, before moving through his sleeves, and pulling out his ribbon. He did a few movements with it, and out came a familiar white haired demon.
"Magical Lyna is here!" she called, swinging her staff around, as Jo(shu) moved into the area.
"Revive Talisa for me, would ya?" he called, moving to take long, quick strides inward. He didn't intend on keeping Geirin waiting any longer than he had to.
However, hearing Kai offer up some tools, he graciously accepted what was given to him, before starting back towards his gate. Something about the situation though...It bugged him.
He's stopped with the insults.. he thought to himself, as Lyna gave Talisa energy again, though she would stay in his phone for a bit. Things must have really gotten dire if he's dropped that..
He moved into the Eastern wall, moving to get to the mirror for him to shatter. Though, things were probably about to go....South. Quote: Jo(shu): Summon Lyna, move onto the Eastern wall Lyna: Recarm [Talisa]

 Red Red let out a sigh of relief, before the small yellow demon turned around, leaping into his arms.
"Good Job Sparky." Red called to him, rubbing the Demon's head, before turning around. Sparky moved to his head, picking up the hat, before curling up under it.
Red turned from his goal for a moment at hearing Kai, noticing him holding a bag. He bowed quietly, before lifting up the Renki-Dama, and the Revolver.
"I thank you, Geirin Kuzunoha." he called formally, before sliding the weapons into place, and started inward, towards the green, southeastern gate. Things did seem suspicious. Why hadn't they encountered more resistance...? "Excelent work, Alraune!" Asuka cheered in support of her companion. The demon wore a noticeable smile, before being recalled by his summoner.
She turned to the open gate, before hearing her mentor speak up again, at the mention of blades, she placed a hand on her own sword, but was never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, a weapon with a special ability could be quite useful, she took the blade and the revolver from Kai and bowed deeply, "Thank you, Master." She placed both weapons on her belt, and turned once again to enter the gate. Quote: Asuka has taken the items and entered the blue gate.

As Yatsuda had gotten a good way down, he had heard the Great Summoner comment on everyone else's success, and was happy for them. But when he had heard that he had a blade for them, he had turned back to receive his gifts from him. He was never one to turn down a gift, so he had taken the blade and gun from the Great Summoner and went back down the hall of his choice.Quote: Yatsuda has entered into the west area (again after receiving items)
