The rocks that had fallen behind him earlier burst from the water and pummeled him, he snarled and tried to keep his grip on the platform, but one of the larger rocks knocked the wind out of him and threw him into the water.

Ares tried his best to swim, but the most he could manage was to barely keep his head above water. His energy nearly gone, all he could do was try to fire one last flamethrower.

Ares got a glance at the floating rocks above him, they fell, the water bubbled, and he sunk. Clyde watched as the water bubbled, willing his pokemon to resurface, but knowing that he would not. The rocket pulled out Ares' pokeball, and acknowledged the defeat, returning his pokemon. Wordlessly, he left.
