This country was built on immigration, it would be brain dead of me to have a problem with all immigrants. The illegal bit is what gets to me too.
I can't tell an immigrant what to be offended about however the fact that we give amnesty to illegals so often seems like a slap in the face of those honest immigrants who bother to come here legally. My great grandparents came over from italy. They went through ellis island and never bothered to teach their kids anything but English because they were so proud of the fact that they were now Americans.
