Cora arched a brow before she sits up "A Crystal girl? Darren, you knwo the rep they have..." she wasn't one to speak ill towards those she didn't know, but she just knew many crystals girl lived up to their school as being spoiled brats. Poking him, she lays her head back on his shoulder "Just be careful okay? I don't want you getting hurt, cause I can't kick anyone a** at the moment."
Darren as well as those within their group were family.
And she refused to allow anyone within the family get hurt.

"I know, I know, but she seems nice," Darren says softly, chuckling a little. "I'm willing to give her a shot, but I'll be careful, okay." He smiles. He knew she was just looking out for him, so he wasn't overly worried. "She doesn't seem like the other Crystal girls... Though she did give her friends my number and they were more interested in me than she was initially... I had to keep asking her out to even set up the challenge."He hoped that didn't sound creepy.

Cora arches a brow before she shakes her head, she couldn't laugh as it would hurt to much "And that not at all creepy Darren? No wonder this chick wouldn't give her number to you." she teases him before fall quiet for a brief moment. After what seem forever, she chews on her lip.
"I've could have died Darren...if that man hadn't found me..."
She was far to calm as she spoke it, as if she didn't know how to handle the fact of what happen to her really.
Not that she could tell anyone.

Darren had been about to quip back when she blurted out her last statement. He winced a little, but hugged her close to him, giving her a little snuggle as he sighed. "Well I'm glad he found you..." He murmured softly. "We'd of all been very upset if you had died."It was hard, because he knew it could happen to him too. That monster he'd fought when he'd powered up wasn't just playing slaps - it would have killed him if it had had half the chance. "I'm just glad you're okay - it's a dangerous world out there... more than you know."

Cora arches a brow at his last statement, rather confused by it before she closes her eyes "Actually you would be surprised how well I know this world is full of danger." she didn't say anything more on that matter as she glance towards the door.
Her mother still hadn't returned, which met she was truly giving them space.
Leaning forward a little, Cora glance towards the window as she sighs "I'm not going to be able to do much of anything once I get out. This really sucks balls." she looks down, digging her nails into her palm for a brief moment.

"Take advantage of that, just relax and take your time and get better." Darren chuckled, watching her for a moment. "It's not like the world rests on your shoulders..."
Not like it rested on his...
He rolled his shoulders for a moment after he slipped back a little, giving her a little bit of room to breathe.
"I mean, it could be worse... you could have had a run in with some sorta animal - at least this guy was human."
And not a giant bear-gorilla.

Cora couldn't stop herself from giving him a weak chuckle "Nope...just a crazed lieutenant." she closed her eyes as she leans back. She didn't even realize what she had just said, that was how out of it she was. Yawning, she reached out to give his hand a small squeeze "Thank you Darren, for coming to visit me..."
She was tired, but then that was how she was as of late.

Darren watched her for a moment, chewing his cheek as he heard what she had said. He only knew one group that had that sort of ranking structure and they... weren't very nice.
"Cora... you're... not a senshi are you?" He bit his lip, his fingers squeezing hers back, but partly in fear.
She couldn't be a knight or a senshi - no. Not Cora.

Cora shakes her head slowly as she yawns again "Not a senshi....a knight actually..." her voice was barely a whisper due to the fact she was drifting off to sleep on him "Amenthes....of....Sa...turn..." she said nothing more, as she slipped off to dream land on him.
Her hand still lightly holding his.

Darren cussed under his breath. The one person he had hoped would stay out of this fight had gotten hurt by it because she too, was a knight. He brushed her hair out of her face with his free hand and smiled softly.
"Well Amenthes, of Saturn, Corinth of Neptune shall watch over you until your mother returns."
Thus said, he held the fort until her mother returned, then took his leave - telling her mother that he had to get back home, but he would pay Cora another visit once she was out.
