Mitsuru tilted the spoon to feed him properly, and once he had taken the bite she sat back in her seat with a satisfied smile. "It is, isn't it? I'll have to learn how to make it for the others~" If it were possible, his face seemed to darken more! She was sure if he blushed anymore he might explode, and that worried her. What was so flustering about being fed?
She took a sip from her now tailored coffee, and nodded. "Yes yes yes, much better. Thank you, Ilmari." This was better suited to her pallette. At the offer of a danish, the little shaymin almost jumped out of her seat. "Oh, can I? It looks so good, but I didn't want to be rude. It's not rude, is it? I'm never sure."
A couple of older women at a nearby table giggled a little, and when Mitsuru looked at them, she noticed now they were whispering something about the "strange couple" and the "wild girl". It made her flowers darken. They didn't seem malicious, but it still made her nervous. Humans were always sneaky like that.

Painted Moose Welp gotta end the PD Ilmari's face just blew off. =P
Ilmari smiled at the idea, "I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible. You would just need to find the recipe or figure out a version of it on your own." It could be a simple thing to get her a recipe book...would she like that? As long as it was healthy experiments and not ones like his scientist friend enjoyed. Oh lord Mad Scientist Mitsuru. Now that was a thought.
Ilmari chuckled at her reaction, "I dunno. Maybe I shouldn't since you don't seem that interested in it." Teasingly he took another thoughtful bite of the danish, "The day you're rude I'll be a fire type." Holding out his fork with a good piece of the danish and cherry on it the whimsicott smiled, "As is I don't think it's rude at all to ask to try something like this."
His gaze followed Mitsuru's and seeing her reaction gave his heart pause. How should he handle this one? The women were just being nosy biddies and Ilmari had learned long ago to just brush them off of a shoulder. Mitsuru, however, didn't seem to be like that. Reaching out Ilmari patted a hand on Mitsuru's head, "Hey. Don't pay them mind, they just like to gabble." He winked playfully, "Secretly they're just impressed that such a lovely girl came into this cafe."
Drinking the last of his mocha the whimsicott glanced back to his companion, "Ready to finish up and head out? Didn't you have a goal today?" He paused while turning his cup slowly in his hands, "I can help you if you would like. I have nothing else to do today so helping out someone sounds nice." If it was Mitsuru he would be willing to help her with nearly anything. And seeing how cold the winds were outside the teen was determined that included making certain she had something warm to take home with her.

Mitsuru was mostly sure that Ilmari was going to drop over dead at any moment. He didn't seem to be healthy, but would that be wrong to tell him so? She chewed on the bit of danish, concerned not only for him, but for the women watching her. They said something about bare feet, and when she looked at her feet she didn't think they looked like a bear at all.
She looked up at him from behind a veil of thick hair, and smiled. "Do you think so? I'm pretty sure they're just focusing on the dirt on my dress and how cute you are." Mitsuru pointed out the obvious stains on her white dress. Still, her eyes came back to him and frowned. "What's wrong with your eye? Are you sure you're okay? I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a seizure."
She took a few more bites of the soup to finish it up, and stood. "Kay. That sounds like fun. Maybe with you around someone will let me shop." Ilmari was certainly dressed better than her, better than most, and his coat was already so warm. "If you want, you can come to the shrine later and have supper with us. It isn't much, but it's always fun."
