Chariklo waited on the rooftop long enough to watch Ida jump down before turning in the opposite direction and racing across the roof and then jumping down and heading for her own home. For her own part, she was unconcerned about the possibility of meeting Ida in battle one day. She'd deal with it if it happened and hope for the best.

Really, it was all any of them could do in this war. Just hope for the best.
