I agree - completely unexpected (and a darn sight more unique than simply fading to grey!). This is great stuff! Even the voices are moderately accurate to their original portrayals, which is no mean feat. I wonder what they used to make the show; I recognized the 'Robot Masters' Optimus Prime, and Prowl looked to be composed of parts taken from his original mould, but what are the rest of the Autobots? Was that Pretender Bumblebee and Jazz? And using the 'Masterpiece' Prime at the end was very poetic, somehow. The folks responsible for this should be commended for their twisted genius, and applauded for their inspired implentation. When I first heard about this, I was expecting to see a really shoddy stop-frame clip, but this is a rewardingly high-quality production. Are there any more of these Transformers parodies from the show? Thanks heaps for bringing this to our attention. Three canisters of Energon for you!

Hi Cudboy,
According to Autobot, the producers for Robot Chicken are connected to Toyfare and Wizard Magazine which explains their 'twisted' sense of nerd/geek humor.
So far, they haven't done another Transformers parody though, and I'm watching it every week.

my friend who isn't a transformers fan that it was awesome I mean they did real go I like the part where they are stomping starscream in the begining that was classic

Yesterday's Robot Chicken had a spoof of Where Are They Now?. It was hosted by Michael Moore and featured Lion-O from Thundercats, Prince Adam from classic He-Man, Flint from G.I. Joe, and finally Soundwave who was working at an amusement park to support his wife and kids! You can catch the repeat this Thursday, May 5th, at 12:00 p.m. EDT/11:00 p.m. CDT. on Cartoon Network!

Hi guys, Sorry I'm so late about this, but I've been a bit busy this week sweatdrop . Did anyone catch the NEW Transformers parody on Robot Chicken's season premiere this past Sunday? It was SO awesome! They even got Frank Welker himself to voice Soundwave, Rumble, and Megatron xd ! There might be clips of it up on Adult Swim's website in case you missed it. Shockwave said something along the lines of Hey, Soundwave is on eBay! Can we buy him? Sonia rofl

KnightFourteen Yeah, I didn't find it hilarious, but I must admit I did have huge appreciation for them doing such a great TF reference. I always love it when something references TF, like when on Family Guy when Peter's like "Optimus Prime is Jewish?!"... TF referencing = awesomeness... I never saw the one with Optimus Prime gonk But I did see the one with Soundwave>>  Any-ways, the Robot Chicken Transformers parody was funny rolleyes mrgreen Fear Soundwave, For He Is a CASSETTE PLAYER!!!!

Aw man, I didn't see either..but then that's what I get for not being a regular watcher of Family Guy.. *ducks and raises arms in defense before she's pummeled to the ground*
