"That's what I figgered," Harrison said, looking over the form he was to sign. The man was thorough to say the least. Especially when his signature was attached. As soon as the documents were shifted over he scanned the print before him. Brows furrowed and in deep concentration. He had to make sure there were no gimmicks- not that he thought there could be any, but just in case. He'd never been slighted by fine print and now was not a time for him to start. He glanced up to acknowledge Zeke every few seconds, nodding his head and then darting back to the paper before him. He had so many questions, to be honest... but his time with Anita, Cruz and Pasha had been a swift kick of insight for him as a future parent.

"I got questions... but I guess they're pertaining to the new little him or her that pops out of that combo, yenno?" He licked his lips and squinted, "Individual things that you learn from being there and that stuff. Just..."

He shrugged and finally signed the forms, initialing and dating before pulling out his phone. He wanted a photocopy form for his own files and this was as good of a way as any. He smiled, replacing the phone in his pocket before turning the file back to Zeke before continuing his previous train of thought, "Anticipating, expecting the worst and the best all at once. I'm excited.... My only question would be the timeline... but.... given the state of your head doctor last time I saw him."

He looked to the oven and then leaned over to check the progress of his battle buddy. Said battle buddy was lying on the floor with three dogs sniffing his body, licking at cheeks in fingers. He figured Cam had either fallen or given up on any efforts to continue wearing the prosthetic. This was a common thing. He'd find the short medic strewn about the house like a bumble bee on a hot day. He shook his head and pulled back, drumming his fingers on the island. With the amount of alcohol coursing through Camille's system, he would need food sooner rather than later.

"I mean, with dinner in the oven, I-- might have some? Would it be wrong to email you them?" He asked, scrunching his face slightly, he then felt the pangs of being an awful host, "And you're welcome to dinner... if you want."

Zeke gave the forms a once over when they were handed back to him then put his own signature down on the line asking for the person who oversaw the return of the bottle and vial. E. N. Farris. Signed and dated accordingly, Zeke made a show of closing the folder and sticking it between the top half of the lid and the foam of Harrison's borrowed case.

"Well if you got'em, toss'em at me!" He gave a toothy grin and bounced on his heels, settling down only to polish off the last of his own chia smoothie and set the cup on the counter again. At the mention of the doctor, Zeke nodded sadly. "Yeah, Kyou's still in a coma, but he's been moved to home care recently." The vet smiled a little at that. News of that was still good news after all. "But if you're worried about the timeline, you don't have to be. Jeremy and Dr. Kyou's Raevan, Lazarus, are both completely in the know about the process. The only wait you'll have to be concerned with is how long your Raevan will take itself. Some take a few weeks, some take a few months - it all depends on the individual Frei, really. If you'd like, I can email or text you status updates on him or her. It's no trouble at all, really, I've done that for a friend of mine in the past."

He was of course speaking about Anita. The two of them had shared an animated texting session when Cruz had been inside his tank and the vet had all but blown up the young woman's phone when the Crocodile had finally been born. Speaking of Anita and her Frei, he'd have to give her a call and check up on the both of them. Last he'd seen of Anita, she had been caked in mud and nursing a slash mark that was a sibling to the one that crossed his chest. Cruz had been red-eyed but despite a little dirty he was otherwise no worse for wear.

The mention of dinner made Zeke's attention turn toward the oven. His eyes widened and then went to the kitchen clock, only now realizing how much time had passed. Straightening his posture, the vet nodded to the mention of emailing.

"Ah jeez, I didn't realize it was getting late. Y-Yeah you're more than welcome to email me! You can toss anything you have at my Lab email or my personal one, whichever you prefer." Both were on the extended list of names, numbers, and addresses of all the current Guardians and their Raevans. He put both of his hands up, smiling politely at the offer of a meal, and shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, Trox, but I'll have to take a rain check on that: I've got a dinner date planned for tonight. Besides, I should get these two cases back to Lab as soon as possible! I'm sure you don't wanna wait more than you have to for your Raevan!" Plus there was the box of frozen pomegranate arils thawing slowly in his car. But even if he didn't have plans, Zeke didn't want to impose on the pilot and his friend. He had caught Trox looking into the other room and the expression on his face hadn't looked like the happiest one.

"I'd very much like to be in that loop, actually," Harrison said cautiously, watching Zeke as he penned his name. News on the doctor seemed to be good news, a bonus to the evening he supposed, although he cringed at the mention of Jeremy. Harrison had some personal problems to work through with the passing of the jungle search party. That much was certain. He stretched, grabbing the glass once it was finished away from the vet and placing it into the sink and returning again to his spot at the island.

"You have my number, I have your contact information. I'll be sure to let you know if I have any questions or problems. Let me know about that magic swan thing," He grinned brilliantly, "I really wanna know if I'm right on that one."

He carefully collected the items for the smoothies and returned them to the fridge before waving Zeke's apology off, "Rain check, yeah. I figured actually," He chuckled, "I just didn't want to be hella rude. This crap isn't really happy with most people's pallets anyway. New diet and things."

The pilot made a show of patting his belly before leaning against the counter and glancing back down at Cam once more then back to Zeke, "In the mean time I gotta get him adjusted. It takes a bit. War wasn't kind on him. And he's way ******** young too."

"Yenno h'kin hear y'all?" Cam's southern lilt traveled down the hall, still laying on the tile now with three dogs either standing over him or laying beside him, bellies offered for scratching.

"Dinner will be ready in five, dog whisperer," Harrison rolled his eyes and grinned back at Zeke, "Here, I'll walk you out."

"You got it, dude." The vet would be sure to rein himself in with the status updates but Troxel would get all the information as it came to Zeke, starting with the identity of the soul. Zeke had a place to start with the Hamsa, so after dinner there was going to be a lot of Googling going on.

"Nah you're nowhere close to hella rude. You're more in the vein of 'pleasant and polite' if you ask me." He grinned as he waved off the pilot's comment about himself. "Well if I end up coming around again near dinner time I'll try it and see if what you say holds up. Like I said before, I like trying new things." He wasn't big on diets but something new was something new regardless. "Speaking of new things, you gotta tell me where you got that chia seed stuff because as cute as they are, I really don't wanna have to buy several clay dogs and cats just for them."

He laughed airily, but the sound petered out almost as quickly as it came on when Harrison went on to quietly mention Cam. Zeke nodded in agreement - a Raevan was a big change to anyone's life, let alone a roommate - but was ever the optimistic one in regards to things. He was sure Trox, if anyone, would succeed in his endeavors. With their meeting now drawing to a close, Zeke closed the cases and took one in each hand. He lifted the one in his left and gave a call down the hall where Cam was presently tucked out of sight with the dogs

"Nice to meet you Cam! I'm sure we'll be seeing each other real soon!"

When they reached the vet's silver Rapide, Zeke made sure to shake Trox's hand as soon as the two cases were placed safely in the backseat. Zeke was sure the future Raevan was going to have a good life here. Trox had a nice piece of property and the man himself was certainly not a bad guy in any respect. Even if Cam needed time to adjust to his new surroundings, they had plenty of that between now and whenever the little boy or girl decided to grace the world with their presence. Offering another affirmation that he would keep in touch as well as telling the pilot that he would be receiving notification of the birth via phone, Zeke gave his final goodbye, hopped into his car, and backed on down the driveway. As he turned the car around to point the front end down the lane that would become the road, Zeke gave Trox one last wave. It was goodbye for now, but he'd be in touch real soon.
