Sleeping Beauty Syndrome was the turn of phrase she wanted to call this; she didn't like using the words "damsel in distress". "I think Cass'd be happy to have you visit," Stormy replied with an encouraging smile. "It's her specialty to advise people and stuff. 'Sides, you can't come to me about everything . . ." Least of all on the topic of love, which she had plenty of words for but not a lot of sense about.
Normally she would have been more adamant about taking on those burdens, but today . . . Today, Stormy did indeed feel too heavy to really be able to take Nevada's into consideration and give unbiased advice on. At least the notch in their door wasn't too noticeable . . . ish . . .
She laughed a little. "Full permission, yes~ Maybe I'll snoop to see if she's getting you something for Christmas," Stormy joked, bouncing in place. "I think if I hadn't been in Mist, I woudl've gone in Death honestly--not because Gale's in it, but because, well, I'm already curious by nature, right? And snooping around on people is fun~" And she was being far too pleased about it.
"So! What is my bestie's Christmas plans?" Stormy asked. "Aside from not getting squashed by an Insanity titan of course. I heard there's some new resupply missions up . . ."

Nevada nodded. "I think it would be a good idea. And with you agreeing, it just seems better...." She clasped her hands together and closed her eye. She'd have to find Cass and see if she could...schedule a sit down together.
"Hey now, I like surprises okay." Nevada eye opened only to narrow at Stormy, " What if I snooped to go find out what Gale was getting YOU for Christmas...." She wouldn't really, she wasn't the best mist about sneaking and such. "Oh? Well you could think of Gale being in it as a extra...BONUS." She teased, "Although you'd have Caelius for your leader." she made a displeased face.
No one liked Caelius after all.
"Try not to die?" She laughed and waved her hand, perking up at the mention of resupply. "Is that so? I wonder if we can do personal shopping on those missions." She looked to the small stack of disney movies and how she would like to expand...

Stormy pouted. "Dooooooon't, Nevada. Okay okay, I won't snoop for Christmas stuff. We should buy things anyway, though, if we go on those trips; I mean, we have money for a reason, right?"
Gale was a bonus, yes, but Caelius as a leader . . . ehhhhh. Maybe if she kept her head ducked most of the time.
"Any reason's a good reason to get off the island, really," she said as she lied back on the pillows. "I'm starting to get cabin fever, y'know? I was hoping by now they'd have the power and the portals working and stuff . . . I wanted to get you guys some nice things, not just like . . . letters and whatever I can throw together for Christmas . . ."

She smiled at Stormy again, "Money for a reason, never has material goods been more needed. I could do with a few thousand more dresses seeing I'm getting dangerously low with all the missions tearing them up..." She teased.
"I thank god that portals are even half up, I'm just waiting for one of the full hunters to lose their cool and just..." She made the blowing up sound and motions with her hands. "Sahara again." Nevada quieted for a moment...then stood up.
"I forgot." She disappeared into the closet, digging around until she found the small runic radio she had found and bribed to be fixed...some odd months ago before the power died. And then forgotten it with the power being down...but now they could charge things and well...
"I've got a cure for Cabin fever...if you're up to it.." She held the radio up and smiled at Stormy, "I promised you something a long time ago, and I think it would be good to live up to it yeah?"

Nevada teased, but Stormy was absolutely making a list in her head of things to buy. Dresses, dresses, dresses . . . No more Sahara though please please please.
Stormy blinked and sat up again when Nevada hopped off, tilting her head at the radio. "Wait, you can get stations off that?" she asked with surprise, and more than a little hope. Could she hear some music at last. "And, um, what promise was that again . . .?"

"I don't know, We'll have to try!" She smiled and looked thoughtful, "Maybe there's like a deus radio or something." If not, thankfully she had a cd of some of her favorite songs.
"Well that I'd speak to you in Italian and make your heart flutter and...." She shifted the Radio, "Teach you some dancing moves?"

All Stormy heard was static as Nevada tried the radio, but that didn't matter. "Would you?" she asked hopefully, her eyes getting a little sparkly. "Ohmygosh, I'm missing Italian in my language repertoire! And dancing! Dancing!" She grew as excited as a five year old in a toy store and jumped off the bed, bouncing in place.
"What sort of dancing? I'll be a fast learner, promise! And you gotta teach me some key phrases in Italian okay, 'cause I know some in French from Dory and a little Russian from Kostya and some Polish from Lucky but Italian oh my God."

"Of course." Was Stormy sparkling at her, or was it the light in the room. Probably the light. "Becoming a multilanguaged hunter are you? Taking Mist principles even to languages, I'm proud of you." She laughed. "I'll teach you the basics. Hello, How are you, bye, Where's the bathroom..." She teased.
"We'll start with slow motions, so ballet most likely. It helps you stretch your body and loosen it for more...Precise or fluid dances."
She gently tapped the radio until something low started to play "Follow me precious....", following the sound outside and into the fields...."This looks good!"
She set the radio down and turned to face Stormy with a coy smile.
"Ciao, io sono pronto per la mia lezione..." She said fluidly enough, "Means, Hello, I'm ready for my Lesson. Lezione is Lesson."

"Yes, exactly~!" Oh she was super pleased to see Nevada pick that up, although it helped that Stormy had always wanted to learn new languages anyway. She was practically bouncing all the way to the fields, her imagination receding back into the classics: Aurora and Prince Philip, Belle and the Beast . . . But she was at attention once Nevada started talking.
Repeating the phrase after her slowly, Stormy then added, "Hola, estoy listo para mi lección~" with a grin, even affecting a curtsey. Because a dance lesson between sisters also needed to be done in sister languages.

Nevada laughed and then took a breath.
"Deep breath in Stormy, and then as you exhale...." She lifted her leg out behind her, curling it up and holding the pose. "Like that..." She waited till Stormy did it and then moved to push her in the right positions.
Eventually, thanks to the music and even with clumsy movements, Nevada ended up dancing with Stormy as a pair.
"Right now is all about relaxation...So just think of relaxing..." Look it wasn't hard for Nevada, she just kind of emitted relaxing aura...

Like a good pupil, Stormy followed her instructions to the T. She didn't quite have the flexibility needed, but it was clear from the concentrated frown on her face that she was trying very hard--which was okay up until the relaxation part came up.
Right, so, deep breaths. She was just used to trying hard . . . Maybe a little too hard.
"Sorry, just excited I'm getting to dance," she explained sheepishly, at least managing not to step on Nevada's toes as they moved. "It's been all serious on the island for a long while, I forgot stuff like this still existed. Did you take dance lessons before Deus?"

"It's good to be excited!" Nevada laughed. "How about instead of Ballet, I'll teach you something with a little more energy?" She showed Stormy a move and waggled her eye brow at her.
"Think you can do that?"
She breathed out and laughed. "I took Dance since I was probably 5? Alaska had more talent with the whole instrument part. I was actually in my first semester of Dance college when I joined Deus." she thought fondly of it, "Got to be in the classes for maybe a month before I went looking for Alaska."

At first Stormy was happy to be taught something more energetic; maybe that would be a great way to vent off her energy! Except after watching Nevada go like a pro, all she could do was feel nervous at the very idea of mimicking it.
"Uhhh . . . probably not," Stormy replied with a self-conscious smile, applauding her excellent moves. "Something slower please, oh wise and beautiful teacher. So you got to be in college, huh? What was that like?" It was a month longer than she'd gotten at any rate . . .

She laughed at the look on Stormy's face.
"Okay We'll get to that later?" She moved to set Stormy into a position and then showed her the move, Slow at first then at speed...
"1,2...1,2 1......2" She showed again, this time giving a sort of beat with the count.
"Flatter eh?" she laughed and then looked over at stormy, thinking of her month of college.."It was fun, and new. Different and the first place I wasn't like...bombarded by my dad. I got to meet a lot of nice people." Then she shrugged, "Unfortunately, the nice things didn't equal Alaska or my need or missing her so It didn't last long. you'd've fit in at College."
