"Right, because it would not be Krishna to have such weaknesses... one of us has to be the strong one, right?" Richard made a sneer, but it was a harmless, playful gesture. He gave both of the dogs another wave of affection before pulling himself to his feet, giving a groan as he stretched his aching muscles. He had been asleep on that couch for far too long and the Great Dane puppy's frantic hopping didn't help matters in the least, but he was certain he could walk it off. After a few pulls and satisfying tingles of blood flowing back to the muscles in his back, he made his way up the stairs. The puppy wanted to follow, and of course she would, but Richard shook his head. "No, no, stay with Krishna for now. Daddy's got to go get dressed..."

Assuming he had any clean clothes left. He was certain he had something he could wear and not put himself and Krishna to shame. Nothing that could quite match Krishna's festive wear, as he finally made a comment as he ascended up the stairs with an overly excited puppy nipping at his heels. "Nice attire, by the way. Very festive, and Christmas-y... in other words, not like you at all. It's a wonder Baldwin recognized you..."

The Irish wolfhound's ears perked at his name but had remained by Krishna's side, giving Richard only one obstacle to overcome. With any luck, this wouldn't have taken too long, even with his aching and sore body, and the puppy was at least willing to give him a moment's peace, as she went bouncing and bounding into the bedroom, leaping onto the bed and sniffing the covers madly. It was his chance to grab a change of clothes and retreat into the bathroom, slamming the door shut on his way. He didn't mean to slam it quite so loud, though it wasn't out of anger. He simply had to hide himself and take a moment to compose himself before he faced his friend again. Silently, he hoped that Krishna's plan would work... and if so, then his reward would have to be great. But how could he repay Krishna? What could he possibly do to make up for everything he put him through?

He'd think on it later. For now, he had to get changed... he smelled like dog piss. "KRISHNA, SHE PEED IN MY BED! YOU'RE CLEANING THAT!"
