"Interesting pet peeve. Do you get annoyed a lot, then?" Akubi asked with an eyebrow perking upward, in a sense he'd just paid her a compliment without being overly obvious about it.
Still, he just nodded as he took a moment to study her and this time when he landed a strike his claw tore into something but he didn't see what, but he knew it wasn't enough to hurt the ghoul in front of him.
That'd be silly.

Not enough. Riley muttered smugly. She felt the claws burn the skin of her arm with their scratch, and straightened up out of the defensive position, to land a clawed strike of her own.

Akubi sort of wobbled from the impact and it made it hard for him to try and hit back and only swatted at air several inches away.
His seeking was going a bit blurry, "Hmmmf. Well. Perhaps next time," he said with a lazy tone to his voice.

She was saying goodbye. Why was she saying goodbye?
Twenty two long, pointed tentacles cam to life, skewering the boil so thoroughly he would resemble swiss cheese for the last few moments before he dissipated.
Perhaps she'd overdone it.

Akubi didn't even really bother to stop the oncoming onslaught. It was almost like he'd expected it and welcomed it.
A chance to restart a new or perhaps a chance to nap in a nice comfortable little cot in the nurse's office.
Either way he wiggled fingertips at her as he dissipated. Akubi was clearly a little unhinged at that point...
Then again he was probably crazy from the start - seeing as he'd been napping in the gym from the very beginning.
