It seemed Disciple would already have Matt on the ropes, early on in the match. So The Dreadnaught was gonna capitalize situation. He rushed forward look to drive his thigh's into the stomach of the Champ.

Shanahan's typical tactic of 'fake-an-opening' seemed to work in his favor, one way or another, everytime he utilized it. Just as Disciple burst forth with his goal of ramming into the Champion once more, Matt followed suit. He pushed off of the turnbuckle and came hurtling forward like a wrecking ball and leaped when he was mere steps away from his opponent. Lunging forward, Matt's arm shot out for a rare flying clotheslines, aiming to knock the man flat on his a**!

Just about half way across the ring, Disciple's offense was halted. Whatever little momentum Disciple had bit up in the early moments of the match where out the window. The clothesline Matt hit The Dreadnaught with did half of what the Champ had intended for it to do. It stopped Disciple's assault, but it didn't pt him down. However the clothesline did manage to through Disciple's balance off and rock him abit as he was now fighting gravity from not toppling over.

Despite just a few inches dividing the two men in height and little gaping their weight, it seemed Shanahan's burst of speed wasn't enough to topple the larger man. Most would've been discouraged immediately, but not The Storm. Matt rolled up to his feet his and went running towards the ropes opposite of Disciple. On the round, The Storm came rolling faster than a tornado, using his momentum to push himself into the air once more, this time aiming to connect the heel of his boot to Disciple's chin for a mid-air big boot!

As the crowd noticed what was happened, they began to slowly build in volume. Waiting for that proverbial nudge to get the boulder from falling over the edge. With Disciple being the boulder, the Champ was looking to be the nudge, and he did disappoint. The crowd got they payoff, as they erupted with a pop, once Shanahan had toppled the giant, and in spectacular form. Dropping The Dreadnaught with a leaping big boot.

The ropes shook with the weight of Disciple hitting the canvas. However taken down Disciple was not to badly hurt. He rolled onto his side, propping his body off the ground as his free hand tended to his jaw, which was no doubt hurting. However it wasn't something that would finish the match.

The God of Punks barely managed to land on his feet after the big boot, practically sprawling into the ropes to catch himself afterward. He looked out to the fans for but a brief moment and allowed the familiar, sadistic grin to course over his lips. What could The Storm be planning next?

He pushed away from the ropes and turned to the side to look down at the fallen giant, who was already recovering. With little time to act, Matt only took a few steps back before sprinting towards the downed man, hoping to drive his foot right into the side of the masked cranium with an effective punt!

The Dreadnaught got to a knee, shaking his head free of the cobwebs, however he had not straightened his body out, and as a result left his head wide open. The kick connected, nearly spinning Disciple completely around on one knee. The punt had rocked The Dreadnaught and it left him on his hands knees as he slowly tried to crawl to the ropes for some kind of sanctuary and a way to get back to his feet.

The Storm's cruel nature was beginning to show, a strange sight when his opponent was one that could be just as equally devastating, if not more. He knew this, the fans knew this, and you could be sure Disciple knew it too. The task was simply keeping the assault going long enough to make such destruction preventable.

"C'mon, pal! Ain't so easy this time around, huh?!" Matt shouted down at the fallen foe, perhaps attempting to provoke him. As he crawled away, The Champion aimed to rain some stomps down onto the back of his right knee before he could get to the ropes. Once he was there though, Matt would back away. He knew to keep his distance when they were both standing.

As Disciple crawled, he felt the painful stomps of Matt's boot coming down on his right knee. Through they hurt, Disciple was thankful that it wasn't his bad leg. Once at the ropes, Disciple began to climbed back to his feet, the ref informing the Champ to back off while Disciple was on the ropes. A standard rule to enforce. Slowly getting to his feet, Disciple shook his head, and limped along the ropes, kicking his leg out to shake off the stomps. After a moment, and taking a few breathes to gather himself, Disciple stepped away from the ropes, looking to continue this match. He slapped his chest once, pumping himself up as he approached the Champ. Stepping up to the plate, Disciple immediately tried to use his superior size and weight and simply man handle Matt into the corner, almost like a sumo wrestler would push his opponent across the ring.

Matt stood firm in the center of the ring, remaining vigilant as ever. He expected for the next step of their dance to be a tie-up, but he wasn't entirely prepared for one of his own tactics to be used against him. The Storm wasn't keen on being stuck between a rock and a hard place, so he attempted to duck under Disciple's arms and push past him at the last second, leaving the Dreadnaught nothing but turnbuckle and trying for something he had never done before: weaseling his way out.

It seemed as through Disciple size advantage would not workout like he had hoped. As Matt had easily managed to scurry away from Disciple's clutches. The Dreadnaught stopped before he ran into the turnbuckle, and hit the top rung with a forearm in frustration as he quickly spun around to keep his eye on his opponent, Shanahan. Disciple would then step towards The Storm, and again tried to go for another tie, however instead of trying to bully Matt into the corner, Disciple would try and toss him into it. If successful Disciple would try and send a flurry of rights and lefts. Looking to shake up whatever gameplan the Champ had.

When the Dreadnaught turned to face The Champion, he met him with a cocked eyebrow and remnants of his classic smirk. He gave no resistance when the man charged at him for the toss-up, but wasn't expecting the toss into the turnbuckle, which seemed to play out more like a forceful push with Matt's attempt to center his weight. Cornered by Disciple, The Storm was defenseless as the flurry of blows connected with his body one after another. After a few landed their mark, The God of Punks aimed to end the assault early by grabbing the man's right fist with his left, abruptly ending the tirade. If successful, he'd follow up with a mighty throat jab with his right fist, hoping to disrupt the flow of oxygen!

With a perfect display of his superior brawling capabilities, Matt made it look easy as he blocked a potentially thunderous right. Before he could react to the situation, Disciple was nailed in the throat. He stumbled back, doubling over as muffled coughs escaped from under the unnerving mask.

Matt barely saved himself from another damaging blow. Out of all his opponents, he was realizing that he was facing one that was potentially just like him in the ring. A true powerhouse. Somehow, that brought a small amount of respect out of the Champion for his opponent. However, not enough to forgive the assault earlier from the night.

With some space between them, Matt had ample opportunity to get away, or go for another speed-round of kicks. His drive to remain unpredictable this time around was far too strong, and instead he charged forward at Disciple and aimed to bring his right elbow bludgeoning right into the face of the Dreadnaught!

Still feeling the effects of the throat shot, Disciple stood up straight only to get nailed with a solid elbow. The hit caused The Dreadnaught to stumble and tumble backwards, falling into the ropes. Catching himself with one arm draped over the top rope, Disciple took this moment to collect his thoughts and regain his focus.
