How did AJ attempt to avoid the barbed wire? By catching the ropes with his hands, but this of course backfired when AJ's left palm was stabbed and the manliest cry of pain was heard throughout the packed stadium.

That cry of pain was enough to make Cartwright smirk. He enjoyed hearing it. The weeks of pent-up anger and frustration of not being able to touch Warner prior to this match was being unleashed tonight by Cartwright, and vice versa. You have to wonder what the condition of AJ's hands are after grabbing hold of the barbed wire the way he did. Will they even be useable? Cartwright lets AJ struggle for a moment to free himself from the wire, as he enjoyed the sight of it. He would then aim a dropkick at his back to push him further into the ropes.

As soon as AJ even got the chance to turn, the pain from his palms would leave hiis mind as he was dropkicked into the barbed wire and his back was nearly stuck to the razors that pierced his flesh. The crowd "Oohed" in response, but that did not help the blood keep from leaking.

Now that's what Cartwright had been waiting so long to see again, AJ Warner bleeding his own blood. He was made to wait for weeks to see it again but it was so worth it. Cartwright didn't allow himself to get distracted, as he charges forwards to clothesline Warner over the barbed wire ropes to the outside, which would surely cause a hell of a lot of shreddage to the skin.

AJ couldn't necessarily evade the move with the position he was in. But a clothesline over the ropes with him still stuck in the fences would have already lost him the match. Warner threw a leg up to Cartwright's face in a desperation maneuver.

Cartwright was too focused on his attack, he charges forward and runs right into AJ's boot! This knocks him down to the mat, the crowd cheering as he holds his chin with his right hand and checks his left eye with his other hand.

In one brave attempt, AJ collapsed his arms together to remove himself from the ropes, and was already stumbling as blood made a violent curtain over his back. The crowd unanimously gasped, but had Warner tried to nurse the injury, he wouldn't last long.

Cartwright begins to shake the cobwebs away, looking up at AJ and getting back to his feet, ready to meet him.

In a frustrated tone, whether it be out of physical pain, emotional agony, or both, AJ went to smack Cartwright across the face with his bloody hand, and then meet him with a rhythmic back and fourth smacking. Ahhhh... smacking...

AJ vents his anger out on Cartwright as he repeatedly slaps him across the sides of his face with his bloody face, leaving blood on Cartwright with each slap.
SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!
Cartwright is staggered backwards so that he has his back near the barbed wire ropes on the opposite side to where AJs was!

Warner stumbled towards Cartwright and looked to irish whip him in the same ropes he himself was thrown into... but instead went to cut him off with a rough clothesline to the head.

Cartwright was expecting the worse, here comes a big irish whip, but no AJ swerves him and nearly takes Cartwright's head off with a nasty clothesline that cause Cartwright to flip 360 degrees in the air as he fell, the crowd gasping in awe of AJ's strength.

AJ rolled onto his back, the back of his hand putting pressure on his shoulder blades. Warner rolled over to push himself up and blood had made an outline of his upper back... scary. Once again, AJ went to mount Cartwright and rip the vest off.

AJ goes back to the vest, tugging away at Cartwright's first line of defence. It slowly begins to rip as Warner uses his strength to pull at it as much as he can. Finally, it shreds in half and the crowd cheers.

(Ripping a bulletproof vest in half makes AJ too overpowered XD)
AJ grabbed the remains of the vest and threw them out of the ring; now that he had Cartwright's torso exposed, Warner knew he had to even the playing field by getting Cartwright's blood spilled. AJ went to lift Cartwright up in a back suplex position. If successful, Warner would attempt to throw Cartwright on to the barbed wire ropes and have him land on his balls!
