Flare, the blacksmith, put her hand to a thick, uneven piece of metal that was on her anvil, it began to glow a bright orange. "If by any chance my apprentice comes back I will be sure to keep him here the rest of the day," She picked up a hammer and continued " and I'll send a messenger out to fetch you." she smiles kindly. "For your troubles. The next time you need your weapons sharpen. It is on me"

Ariella sighed, "I know the blacksmith and she's on honest person. If she says that she sent it, I know that she did. Her apprentice, on the other hand, him I'm not to sure about." Ariella took a quick look around her, everything seemed normal for it being the blacksmiths. "If he comes, please send someone to us. We'll greatly appreciate it." She smiled at Flare and turned to Lian. "I last saw him walking into the butchers." Ariella said and started to head out.

The butchers was the last place Lian wanted to go and the young Tracker did not want to go search for the possible thief. "We stay right here!" He announced, falling to the floor dramatically. "And you shall not be rid of us lady blacksmith!" There was some reason behind Lian wanting to stay here. Honestly, he doubted that the idiot apprentice would take the fans to his place of residence, that would be full fledged stealing. If this moron were truly that stupid, he probably shouldn't be alive at this moment.

So the tracker looked around, looking for any hint of the fan. "Tell me Flaresmith, is your young apprentice working on anything special? My sister's fans are made of a very sturdy material. For all I know he could have melted them down by now," the words echoed across the shop. Lian might be lazy at times, but he wasn't a bad Tracker. He just had a horrible work ethic.

Flare chuckled a bit from Lian response. " This is true. I did send him out for more materials today, but they was early this morning..." She started to hammer the metal in her grasp. She began to think for a moment before speaking. "hmm you know there is a place here in the shop he calls his hide out." She looks up at them before continuing.. "Aye, its a sturdy little wooden structure. Its behind my shop in fact. I never go in there, I just give the kid his privacy," She sighed and stopped hammering. "He keeps a lock on it. Nothing that I can't break though. Now that I think of it....This isn't the first something went missing though..." She started to look worried after she put the metal in a barrel of water to cool. "Shall we take a look?"

Ariella smiled at Flare, "Please? It would be greatly appreciated." Ariella looked around where she was and saw all sorts of little metal trinkets. Some were weapons that she never held, weapons she couldn't hold as they were against the vow she made when she became a Healer of Water. Then again, she had no choice. Growing up, she could never fight. She was more likely to harm herself or a friend before harming her opponent. Ariella remembered the disappointment in her parents faces when she wasn't able to fight, and before they knew she could heal. Ariella smiled softly as she remembered her parents faces when they saw that she had the rare healing ability, the ability her mother had, but not to the same extent. That's when the lessons began and when her freedom was restricted.

She could no longer play with other kids, no longer walk around by herself, no longer be a kid. She was stuck in the library most days learning from what the Healers of the Old wrote. Ariella had to learn how to be a Healer of Water on her own. And, at the time, she was alright with it. She missed not being able to play outside, but she still got to see her friends. But the elders restricted that time less and less, putting more emphasis on learning then letting her be a kid. But that's what she had to do and, deep inside, she's happy that she did. All she really misses is her adventures, the adventure that Lian is talking her on. The first one since she discovered that she could heal. If the elders learned, she would most likely be in alot of trouble. But she didn't care.

Ariella shook her head, it surprised her the memories that small weapons like these were able to provoke. Memories that she wished that she never had. Ariella turned to Lian, "You know what the fans look like better then I do, so you'll be able to recognize them faster then I would." She said with a smile and waited for Flare and Lian to go ahead of her.

Lian stared up at at Ariella when she paused a moment. She looked to be lost in memories, but Lian wasn't sure if they were good or bad. 'They can't be the best, she's been caged up most of her life!' Lian thought to himself. He nimbly got up, plucking a dagger from the stacks of weapons as he did. He strutted, like a peacock, outside and to the shed. The Tracker carefully placed the danger between the door and the lock, then took a step back. His leg shot up, hitting the dagger on the end and sending the metal forward, breaking the lock apart. "Oh the wonders of being me~," he stated, his chest puffing up in pride. He knew he was a drama queen, however it was fun to entertain those around him.

As soon as he was done preening, he stepped inside, scanning for the fans. "Flaresmith, you may need to can your apprentice… It looks as if he's been stealing not just from customers, but from others around town…"

Flare nodded and led the out through the back of the shop. The new wooden structure was secured by a an old lock. she began to make a fire ball but before she could, the Tracker opened the door up. she was about to pick the pieces of lock from the ground, when she heard the news. Her eyes seemed to become inflamed with rage. "he is doing what?!" She stepped in the building and looked around. She seen all the missing items from the shop including their fan. She gripped her hands tightly as fire engulfs them. She new she picked up the kid up off the streets and took him under her wing to help guide him. she talked about him stealing from her and from others. but for him to go against what she told him made her feel more enrage. "I have a very good punishment for him.. already in mind." She huffed and walked out, heading back to the shop.

Ariella stared in the little hideout, surprised by the amount of stolen items in there. She stepped in and looked around. She saw a cane with a poket watch hanging down from the handle. "Well, Lian, I think we found Old man Nellis' can and pocket watch." She said and walked forward to grab them. But Ariella didn't see the small dagger sticking out so as she stretched out and reached the items, the dagger's blade sliced open her skin.

She jumped back in surprise, dropping the cane and watch to the ground. Ariella grabbed a hold of her arm and, trying not to cry because of the pain, looked at the cut. 'If it isn't clean and I heal it, I face a serious infection. But if I take to long to heal, then the amount of blood could cause some complications.' She thought and looked around. She saw a small well that is owned by the blacksmith. "Forgive me, but I need to use your well." Ariella ran over and saw a bucket filled with water on the side. She washed her arm off before healing it.

After inspecting her arm and confirming it was healed, she walked back towards the hideout and stood there, almost to afraid to go back in to get the cane and watch. 'If the elders knew what happened.. I don't even want to think about it.' She held the arm that was previously cut close to her body as if she was worried that the injury would reappear.

Lian stared as Ariella rushed out of the shack. He wasn't sure what to do. He could go after Lady Water or Flaresmith, or stay where he was. When Ariella came back to the door of the shack, Lian let out a small breath he had been holding. "Yea, I can see why the guards generally don't let you out of their sights. You are freaking accident prone," he sighed, tossing the cane out to her. Blue eyes scanned the shack, looking for any sign of the fans.

"What are you doing in my workplace?!" A shrill voice screamed. Lian turned quickly, moving between the apprentice and Ariella. The Tracker pulled out one of his knives, resting the tip on the boy's collar bone. "Hold still, shut up, and do as I say," Lian hissed. The boy just nodded, his eyes wide. "You have been caught in possession of items that do not belong to you. As a Tracker I seize all this until the items can be sorted and returned to their rightful order. Should you fail to cooperate, you will be dealt with in the quickest and harshest manner deemed necessary. Do I make myself clear?" The boy backed up a few steps. Lian grabbed the boys arm, swung his body around, and held the knife to his throat. "I'll say this again… Do I make myself clear?" The apprentice just nodded, his whole body shaking. Lian brought the dagger back down to his side, keeping one hand firmly wrapped around the others arm. "We're gonna go drop you off with the blacksmith, then I'm going to come back here and hope that you weren't a complete moron. Be a good boy and keep quiet, would you?"

"Boy!" Flare called out in a furious tone. "What in the name of all of this are you doing! Stealing from the same people that helpd you!" She heard lian and figured her apprentice was in there with them. She was tugging a cart behind her, when she cam to the door her eyes were still filled with rage but she looked very calm. "Now you will do as I saw. See all these items in here! Give them back tot he people you stole from. I made a few double orders just to fill them again. You may not be a strong fire element to melt but you will be melting them down and molding them tonight!" she knew he hated to melt and that he wasn't a strong enough enough to heat the metal to melt it, but she was going to do something to punish him. "The Fans... where are they NOW!" she huffed, smoke seem to come from her now. "Or Else Apprentice."

Ariella stared with surprise as the scene unfolded around her. The apprentice with a knife to his throat, while Ariella has never seen an event like this, she has seen the aftermath. To actually see it though, was frightening. She stood behind Lian, staring at the apprentice, the fear and anger almost wild in the eyes. It seemed that everyone was attacking the child, but Ariella wasn't like that. As upset as she was with the events, she was also angry that he would dare to do something like this; she couldn't help but feel sorry.

Holding the cane and watch close to her, Ariella was careful to stay out of the way and away from the angered apprentice. "Shouldn't we get the protectors help?" Ariella asked, almost frightened that things will only make a turn for the worst.

Lian narrowed his eyes at all the responses. "I can handle one little apprentice, thank you for your vote of confidence Lady of the Water." Lian sheathed his knife and placed his foot on the back of the apprentices knee. The boy crumpled at the slight pressure and Lian had to use his grip on his arm to keep him from collapsing completely. "Remember, shut up and stay."

Lian walked back into the shed, searching for any sign of the dark metal of Vi's fans. After not seeing the items immediately, Lian skipped into the blacksmiths shop. "Flaresmith I'm borrowing a spear!" The Tracker grabbed the nearest spear then skipped past the others and into the shack. He shut the door behind him, knowing that what he was about to do was stupid on many levels. A brief grin passed the boy's lips just before he took the spear in bother hands and started to spin as fast as he could. The spear sent all the items flying off the benches. Lian abruptly stopped his spinning, allowing the items to clatter to the ground. He once again scanned the shack for any sign of the fans. "There they are," he chirped happily, picking the items up as he kicked open the door. "I kinda made a mess in there, but at least we found the fans!!"

Flare looked to lain. "you may just be careful please." She stood right be her apprentice when Lian came back then cause the destruction she seen. "What in hells name... " her eye twitched. "Tracker.. I do hope you are planning to stay to help bring stuff into the shop." she didn't know what to say but was glad her little girl wasn't around to see it.
