Falias hadn't been sure that he'd be able to trip up the Eternal senshi and part of him had half-prepared to fall back on his back up plan to try and kick the thing.

It had worked like a charm though, perhaps because the fake's murderous attention had been mostly focused on its double and the Shade had gone crashing to the ground.

It had seemed that that was all that was needed to give the real senshi the upper hand, but an angry voice had cut in before she could strike any finishing blows, the moment's distraction enough to allow for the fake to send the real Tsui flying before suddenly fleeing.

Falias had let the thing go, instead heading over in the real senshi's direction, his plan having been to give the other a hand up - but she was already on her feet and there were sirens, distant for now but obvious heading in their direction.

He was nodding at her suggestion that they needed to vacate the scene knowing that the last thing that either of them needed was to be tangled up with the police, a concerned look in his green eyes as he glanced at her as he hoped that she was okay to run - after all those had been some pretty nasty hits that she'd taken but also knowing that they were both out of time - he'd just have to give her a hand if she needed one.

The only thing that kept Tsui from allowing the pain to bog her down was pure adrenaline at this point, and she was certain that the moment the two of them would get to a safe place that it'd all come back to bite her in the rear, but that was something she'd deal with later. For not, escaping with not only their lives but their criminal records intact was the key here, and with Falias not too far behind, she pointed to one of the buildings and shouted. "Let's get to the roof tops! They're less likely to look up there..."

For regular people, jumping up such a tall building would have been impossible, but these two weren't any regular people. Still keeping a tight grip on Falias' hand, Tsui put all of her energy into her legs to make the jump, leaping into the air and just barely making it to the top. She managed to keep her balance well enough as they landed, and the moment her feet were firmly planted on the rooftop, she pulled at Falias again, speaking softer so that the angry civilian below wouldn't hear them. "Let's put one or two more buildings distance between them, then I think we'll be in the clear. Come on."

Tsui had managed two other jumps before the pain in her chest and ribs became too much to bare, and the moment they found their way onto a rooftop garden, she fell to her knees and began to cough. She tried to mask her pain behind light hearted humor, but there was no way of denying the pain she felt. "That was... a fun excursion. Huh? You okay?"

For all that Falias tended to make his way around the city via the ground, he had been a Page long enough to learn the mechanics of roof top jumping, there was also the fact that the eternal senshi had a point in them likely being in the clear if they had enough buildings between them and the angry 'police-calling' shopkeeper.

He'd thought that maybe the eternal had managed to fare better than he'd initially thought as she'd managed jump first one and then another building and it was only as they landed in the rooftop garden on the top of the second building that Falias realised that actually the other was in just as bad a condition as he'd initially assumed.

"I'm fine" he said in answer to her question of how he was, not sure he agreed with her assessment of back there being a fun excursion - after all their respective clones had just tried to kill them and for all that he wasn't a doctor, he didn't like the way she was coughing either. "That double thing of yours wasn't really that interested in me" and she'd interfered before his could get too violent with him. "How about you? Are you sure you're okay?" Because from where he was standing she really didn't look like she was doing too good.

Tsui was just as prideful as the animal of her sphere, but tried as she might, she couldn't deny the pain she felt in her torso and chest area. She knew that her organs were alright and that at most she may have suffered a bruised rib, but it certainly hurt like hell, and she bobbed her head up and down, sputtering for a moment before forcing herself into a seated position and answering, "I've handled worse…"

After being stabbed by multiple spears, this was nothing in regards to threatening to her life, but still, she kept one arm wrapped around her chest for a little while longer, waiting to catch her breath before she even tried to get up and make the trip home. Or to the hospital. She was out of shape in regards to her gymnastics, though spills to the mat were likely nothing in comparison to taking a Glorious White Tiger to the chest, in retrospect. "Gives me a perspective of what others feel when I use that attack… though I think it was the kick in the end that did it. I'll live… just glad the two of us made it out of that alive."

But for how long? So long as they remained powered, their shadow doubles could find them, and Tsui was quick to suggest something that wasn't quite kosher in this kind of situation. She looked around the area to make sure they weren't being watched, before suggesting, "We should probably power down, just in case they come looking for more. We can power down in the garden or that old shed, maybe, if you're worried about being caught. Probably be the safest way to get out of their radar..."

Although Falias had been part of the strange war happening secretly in Destiny City for over half a year, it was still somewhat strange to hear the eternal senshi talk so matter-of-factly about receiving worse injuries - especially since if he was to hazard a guess then he'd say that the other looked to probably still be in High School and he'd just seen her fake dish out some punishing-looking hits on her.

He held his tongue though having also been around long enough to realise that people involved in the war - on both sides - seemed to vary in age, although Camelot was probably the oldest one that he'd come across.

At the eternal's suggestion that they both power down, a thoughtful expression crossed his face for a moment and he gave their surroundings a careful glance of his own before nodding. "Makes sense" he agreed, after ascertaining that apart for the two of them that they really were alone in the rooftop garden - or at least appeared to be alone.

"And I'd rather not have that psycho double thing of mine manage to hunt me down again today" he continued, adding "Although we don't appear to be overlooked by any buildings so I doubt it makes any difference whether we use the shed to power down or not." As he spoke he let go off the magic that made him Falias, the gold trimmed greens and the brown making up his outfit fading away to reveal him a young man dressed in a sweater and a pair of jeans. The sweater with the image of a smiling cup of hot chocolate. "I'm Marlin like this, Marlin Joanson" he managed a cheerful enough smile, despite the fact that his green eyes still looked concerned as he glanced at the eternal senshi, as he finished "Also known as Falias - Falias, Page of Earth."

"Yeah… as if this city wasn't filled to the brim with enough baddies, we have this to add to our plate…" Tsui was hardly the type to complain and usually welcomed a challenge, but the recent fights had simple become too much for her to keep an eager, go-getter attitude towards the subject. She looked towards Falias as he powered down first, and the moment his glamour fell and he revealed his face to her, she followed suit, though her attire was hardly as festive, nor as warm. "Nice to meet you, Marlin. Name's Gwendolyn Caspian, but you can call me Gwen…"

Only once she was wearing her regular, boring ol' civilian attire did she sit up, and it took a few moments to get herself into a more comfortable position, and little by little, the pain from the attack was subsiding, hopefully enough to not let poor Marlin worry about dragging her to the hospital. That would have been an annoying visit for the both of them, no doubt. "Not sure if I introduced myself in my other outfit, but in case I didn't… Eternal Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers."

She looked at the image on his sweater and wore a crooked smile, before pointing to it. "You know, that looks like a good idea right now, don't you think? Wanna join me on some hot cocoa, Marlin? Wash down this experience with something nice and soothing..."

It hadn't taken long for Tsui to follow him in powering down, the broken glamour revealing a teen that Marlin was even more certain was still in High School.

She introduched herself first by her civilian name and then by how she had been as a senshi and whilst he had known that the other was called Tsui by her introduction as she had tackled his fake and whilst he had guessed that she was an eternal by the strength of her aura and the wings, Marlin hadn't known what she was the senshi of, tucking the tidbit of information away. That she was the senshi of tigers made sense however, judging by the fierceness of that attack he'd seen.

"You did introduce yourself" he said - well she'd gotten as far as her name before her Shade had interfered. "It's nice to meet you though Gwen," he continued cheerfully as he noted to himself, that Gwen seemed to be looking a bit better than when she (as Tsui) had first landed on the roof. Which is why instead of suggesting that she might want to get herself checked out at the hospital, Marlin instead nodded at her suggestion of looking for a place that did cocoa.

"That works for me" he agreed, "I could do with a hot drink myself" and he liked cocoa. "Got anywhere in mind?" Not that it mattered if she didn't - Marlin was pretty sure that they could find somewhere that was still open.

Totally works for me - I'll post a closing tag on my next post

Introductions were always weird, but double introductions were certainly something else, and she hoped that Marlin wouldn't have sensed her embarrassment as she finally pulled herself up to her feet. It hurt for a second but before Marlin could think to lend her a hand, she waved him off and straightened up. She was going to be so very sore in the morning, but that'd be a problem for future Gwen…

"Sorry we couldn't meet on friendly terms, but… I guess it's to be expected nowadays, especially in this crazy city." Gwen said, wanting to stretch but knowing that she'd regret it, so she settled for simply exhaling heavily as she put her hands on her hips. She wouldn't be able to keep the tough girl stance too long like this, but like hell she'd let the act drop now, especially not in front of an adult. "But you did good tonight… thanks for your help."

The call to hot chocolate could not be ignored now, and Gwen was eager to get the both of them off of this rooftop and into a coffee shop as soon as possible. "Anywhere… Starbucks is right around the corner I think, if we're where I think we are. I think I might try coffee… I need something with a kick in it. Never had it before, but I never fought myself before, so, could always try something new."

Marlin nodded at Gwen's comment about them not meeting on friendly terms "I've kind of got used to it" he admitted wryly.

Since powering up for the first time back in April he had experienced being chased by youma, and then later on had ended up getting caught up the craziness that had gone down at first the circus he'd gone to visit and then later on in the year at a convention - and that was without counting that senshi who had identifying himself as a Dark Mirror senshi attempting to kill him in between those two happenings - so yes Marlin got Gwen's 'crazy city' comment, although he was pretty sure that it hadn't been crazy like this when he'd been growing up here prior to going off to college.

"Starbucks sounds good to me" he said, deciding there and then that he was going to treat himself to a cup of cocoa with all the trimmings - whereas he didn't mind coffee he liked cocoa better and after what had gone down Marlin felt he was entitled. So it was that as Gwen started to head off, he followed after with a cheerful "Lead on" already anticipating the warmth of the cocoa - one of Starbucks finest.
