The night of the eclipse Polaris, or rather Aurora, had been tucked away at home working on a term paper. Though the event had sounded fun.. she was already having enough problems trying to keep up with doing her duties as a senshi and getting decent enough grades at school. And when it came down to it.. fun social stuff just didn't even compare to duty and responsibility, not for her.

So trying to piece together what exactly had been going on over the past week had been pretty hard. The moon had remained eclipsed for an entire week.. and rumors of monsters, that didn't sound like mere youma, were everywhere. Eventually she'd even encountered some harrassing terrified townspeople. And so for the past three nights she's gone out each night hunting the strange monsters out, helping to protect as many civilians as she could manage. She was, after all, slightly better equipped to handle them the then poor people were.

Leaving the house with the same agenda on her plate for the evening, Polaris didn't have to travel far before a pulse of energy suddenly caught her attention. Huge.. strange.. Not like anything she'd every felt before.

Caution to the wind, she cast aside any worries about being sneaky and instead turned her sights on getting there as quick as possible and figuring out what in the world this was. Her fuku was replaced with a flowing dress, wings sprouting from her back. Taking to the rooftops Princess Polaris glided from roof to roof until they gave way to the park. Shadow creatures were filing in like cockroaches, a bright beam extending to the sky.

It was easy enough to figure out who was in charge. Beyond the air of superiority and the aura leaking from her, Polaris could already see others attacking her as well.

"Super Magnetic Field!" Lifting her arms above her head she called out an attack, watching as a metal park bench ripped itself up from the ground and flew at the woman at the center of the lake.

The days lately had not be great for Aitana. Her world was in an upheaval and it had nothing at all to do with what was upsetting everyone else's life. Had she even noticed that the moon wasn't there anymore? She must have.. even if she didn't register it. She'd been sleeping a lot lately, as if by not facing daily life it would just go away.

Given that she wasn't powered up, it was the sounds of chaos that drew her attention to what was going on in the nearby park, her eyes lifting for a moment as something dark rushed past her. Something was rising from the lake.. something very large.

Her fists clenched. She hadn't hit anything living in awhile, not since her hand had healed. She could do with punching some stuff today.

With a flash of light Aitana became Juno, and it didn't take much longer then that for her to launch herself at the closest thing that looked like an enemy, her fist connecting with one of the dark figures as it attempted to pass her by towards the lake.

Several of the senshi seem to waste no time when it came to trying to take out the queen. The first attack really put the fairies in a roar, as the queen found her thoughts more singly focused on her planetary take over, but with each passing second, the consuming thought rampaging through her head, her body began to burn, causing her to cry out more in anger than in agony.

Her eyes turned on the senshi who had called out the attack advancing on he lake to toward the girl (Ganymede) only catching a small portion of the avalanche senshi's attack, causing her to stumble slightly.

Her fairies charged at the gathering senshi taking on familiar forms, taking up familiar weapons. One getting punched in the face by a green-haired senshi, while the other's engaged the gathering party in battle determined to kill.

Queen Finsternis found before she could advance any further that she was hit with a bench that had been thrown, pushing her back over the water and scream erupts from her mouth.

"How dare you! You little vermin! You will all die tonight! This planet will be mine. I have no need for such useless beings!" She hissed through gritted teeth though she could be plainly heard then she spreads her hands out and up toward the moon, causing the area around her to glow, spectral water spreading out rapidly over the lake and toward the senshi.

Character: Eternal Sailor Athene
Power description: Blue Beads of Nazar – intensated (super senshi level attack): The energy used by this attack takes the form of a glowing ball made up of spiritual evil eye protector beads which can be directed towards a target. A connected attack will trap a target with ill will towards the target or one of their allies (*1) in a barrier of beads for about thirty seconds. The beads glow briefly, then shatter and disappear once time is up.
*1. Ill-will is taken to mean that target wishes to cause some form of harm towards the caster or one of the caster's allies
*2. Opponent is not actually immobilised - they can still jump, block, or strike with their weapon - but they cannot leave the ring of beads.
*3. Beads cannot be smashed by people trapped in the barrier, however they can be smashed from the outside. They would need to smash half the beads to break the barrier (about 24 to 30 beads)
*4: Shattering beads at end of attack may distract (but not harm) target briefly [player’s choice]

His cousin was no longer in the hospital, but she hadn't come home either. Instead Uncle Phillip had made the drive up with Aunty Rachel and the two had collected his cousin. His Uncle had still had the grim look that seemed to have become a semi-permanent feature on his face overnight - well at least since Arian had seen him at the hospital the night that he'd managed to save her from her crazed clone with the help of Orah (well at least their powered counterparts had).

His Aunt had suggested that come with them, but Arian had declined citing classes although it was more that he felt that he couldn't leave the city. He'd done the bury his head in the sand and try to pretend things weren't happening once and he wasn't going to go that route again.

The apartment felt oddly lonely without Saffy and not particularly wanting to linger around the apartment Arian had instead funneled the time into patrolling as Athene, so it meant that he was out and about when sensed the strange aura.

He didn't immediately rush in however, instead pulling out his phone and sending a text to his fellow PSSG members



He wasn't the first there, auras of varying strenght and from both order and chaos already there by the time he reached where the strange aura he'd picked up was coming from.

The source of the aura appeared to be some kind of towering woman, Athene arriving in time to see her use some sort of water attack, although he had been far enough away for it not to affect him.

Marlin had been in two minds about hitting the patrol beat as Falias tonight. The past couple of times had had him encountering his clone and he wasn't sure that he was up for another encounter.

Restlessness and the not particularly wanting to stay back in the shop working on paperwork had had him slipping out however and it hadn't taken him too terribly long for him to power up into his alter-ego.

It had taken even less time to pick up on the strange aura and make the decision to check it out.

It had led him to a lake, picking up on other auras both order and chaos as he got closer. Unfortunately he got there just in time for some sort of towering woman to lauch some sort of tidal water attack at the people clustered there.

Falias was too close to in any way dodge, the water slamming into him with enough force for him to lose his footing, toppling over with a splashy oomph.

Satisfied that her attack had successfully taken effect whether or not it resulted in much damage to the large energy signature, Ganymede shifted to the side to avoid an oncoming clone and stuck her leg out to trip it up, watching as it took a tumble to the ground. Unfortunately, it popped up again almost immediately, though as it was not her own it seemed to have another target in mind. When she made no further moves to thwart it, it left her be and continued on its way.

Ganymede spared a moment to look around the scene in an attempt to find her clone. She'd encountered it enough in the recent weeks to know that it would eventually come for her. She'd rather not give it the opportunity to sneak up on her while she was otherwise distracted by other clones and the woman in the midst of it all. She saw a few flashes of blonde hair here and there but didn't immediately pick out her own face in the crowd, and she was soon distracted by other events that required her attention.

Such as the spectral water coming rapidly toward her.

She took only a few steps back before realizing there was no way for her to avoid it or outrun it, so Ganymede stood still and bore the brunt of it. She managed to remain on her feet, though her breath momentarily left her upon impact and she felt the effects both of using her own magic and being hit with foreign magic once she was able to get her bearings again. She felt mildly drained and winded, but adrenaline kept her upright and focused.

HP: 50 – 20 = 30

It was unsurprising that the surge of attacks would upset the shadowed lady, but the words that burst from her were frightening, cementing Polaris' opinion that this lady was bad news, and her attack first mentality had been the right choice. This lady was like Painite or Sassolite. No mercy.. not plans to leave any survivors.

Polaris' worries grew as the Queen unleashed a powerful and huge attack that swept across the field. Even as far back as she was it pushed across the land and people in between her and the Queen before finally bowling her over and knocking her to the ground. Sputtering water, she tried to brush off the dull ache in her elbows and back as she stood once more, gaining a defensive position.

"If she has attacks that reach that far, I'd make use of any ranged attacks you have!" She called out to anyone who happened to be listening.

There was an intense sense of satisfaction as her fist landed, a smirk growing across her face. It was still alive of course, a mere punch wasn't going to do it in, but the moment of success and the monster's unhappy bellow was enough for Juno.

She wasn't really paying attention to the lady's tirade, but that didn't mean she missed the wall of water on it's way. It was more reflex then anything, diving at the shade fairy she'd just attacked and using it like a vaulting horse to propel herself up into the air, somersaulting to a harmless landing on the other side of the wave.

Holy s**t that was lucky! Or awesome. Juno would claim awesome if you asked her.

Iris' ears would have perked up if they were able to. The key word "bike" stuck with her, even as Metis approached.

"I think... it ain't gonna be a straight forward comparison, Metis..."

Seeing it as an opportunity to get rid of her riding companion, Iris rather quickly scooped up the Mauvian and practically tossed her onto the ground.

Cats always landed on their feet, right?

If anything, the timing was terrible. Even though ********* had landed on two wobbly feet, rather suddenly odd magical water began to flood the area. The poor manx felt as if she should have been soaked, but she didn't quite look it.

After ditching the deadweight, the eternal senshi noticed the attack and easily jumped up out of the way. She called out to her teammate "YOU WATCH'ER!"

When she landed, she was close to two Negas (Realgar, Zircon). "...so... you say 'bike'... I say... 'what kind?'" she said with a grin while still keeping her eye upon the opponent. Yes, she needed to know the answer to this question.

USE AND ABUSE ME!!!
Character: Eternal Sailor Tsui
Power description: Eternal Sailor Attack: Glorious White Tiger.
The energy that SailorTsui’s been collecting not only envelops her fists, but has migrated to her legs as well, and her charge is even more ferocious than ever. She starts her assault with a powerful lunge forward, adding momentum to her strike, followed by her signature Tiger Fist motion, striking downward in an X motion and knocking the enemy back even further if she is able to connect, and she uses the last bit of her energy to leap backwards to add further distance between them. Like her Super attack, she is able to aim at specific limbs and can physically stun the limb, preventing the opponent from using that limb for ten seconds. She puts absolutely everything into the attack, hoping to incapacitate or greatly weaken the enemy as she will be completely drained of power and left vulnerable for ten seconds after the blow.

This was it! This was what everything was building up to!

When Super Sailor Vespa powered up that evening, he had a feeling in his gut that something big was going to happen this evening, something huge, something that would completely blow everything else about this whole duplicate business out of the water. The Super senshi of Wasps was just starting out his patrol when it went down, and the sight of Queen Finsternis made the Corrupted senshi quiver in his boots. Not to say that was an overly impressive feat, given how clumsy and easily victimized by his emotions Vespa was, but it was still enough to make Vespa quiver with both anticipation and fear.

This was a Queen, and she felt insanely powerful. Overwhelmingly powerful! Which is about what he would expect from a queen, Vespa thought, as he made his way towards the lake, ready to engage this enemy of…

He pondered for a moment who she was an enemy of. It was no surprise that she was the one responsible for all of the shadow doubles that were running amok throughout the city, and he could still feel his body aching from the combination of his clone’s and his own’s magic as he ran towards her. He had thought her to be an enemy of the Negaverse, but it was soon clear that she was an enemy of the White Moon as well, as she and her minions struck indiscriminately. This wasn’t just an enemy of the Negaverse, or an enemy of Destiny City.

This was an enemy of the Earth, and every living person on it. Be it civilian or powered, and Vespa did not need an order from a superior ranked officer to make his charge against her. The only thing that stopped him, however, was her first wave. Literally. Queen Finsternis was rambling about something and Vespa’s attention was more towards the wall of water looming towards him. He tried to come to a skidding halt and looked for a tree or building to try and jump on top of to avoid the wave, but it was too late. He rose his arms in front of his face in a pathetic attempt to brace himself, but the moment it hit him, he went right with it, being picked up and swept away in the current.

Wasps didn’t do well in water, and Vespa was no different! The Senshi of Wasps never was a good swimmer and he kicked and splashed about, trying desperately to keep his head above water and trying to cling to something to latch onto before the current swept him away entirely. What a pathetic little warrior Vespa made… no doubt that if he survived this encounter, whatever good graces he might have had with the Negaverse was gone. The minute this wasp dried off his wings, though, he’d let Finsternis feel his venomous sting!
