"At the time I wasn't," Candace clarified when asked about dating Dakota. She chuckled, putting her hands on her hips and giving Nevada a look of mock offense. "Excuse me? What do you mean you can't see me with a woman? I can do it. Kids."

Atropos was summoned while Nevada told her about her new girlfriend, raising a brow at the description. Huh. Interesting. "Well, that is the point of dating, to get to know someone."

Candace waited for Nevada to summon her own weapon, bouncing on her toes. "All right. So. Remember that I want to see your charge, okay? But if you think it's going to hurt you too much let me know and we'll try again another time." After her warning she took off, darting around and behind Nevada to strike at her from behind.

"At the time oh okay..." The look that got offensive was met with a raised brow and a shocked expression. "I didn't say, oh my god Candace....I am not a kid." The slap on her hips was a mirror expression of the older mist.

"See!" She shook her finger, "And that's what I plan to do. Get to know Chelsea. So far, she's been pretty great."

Leroy appeared in her hands, nodding her head. She didn't expect the kick to come so quickly, striking from behind and sending her flying forward. Using the momentum to bounce herself up, she twisted her body to fire Leroy.

Only missing Candace completely.

"Goddamn eye and terrible aim and s**t...." She hissed, mumbling under her breath.

"You totally did say it. I don't see you with a girl, Candace. She let it go after that, more amused than bothered.

She ducked when Nevada turned to shoot at her, spinning on her heel and dropping to the ground while kicking her other leg out to sweep it across from behind Nevada's knees. Two good hits sounded like enough for Nevada to not think Candace was going easy on her. Candace got back up on her feet then, jumping back and away from the trainee. "Just takes practice. I'm a very quick-moving target. You'll get used to having the one eye eventually, we're a very adaptable species even when we're not hunters, it's human nature."

She grunted as she was shot, holding her arm. "Better. Try again." Candace took off again, this time circling Nevada. She didn't strike at her again.

"'Hey, Candace' what~?"
