Skald snorted. He could have sworn he had heard this all before from another undead. What was it with them? Were dead book worms and study nerds or something? "We'll see about that." Came the muttered response as he leaned back in his chair.
When she got up to leave, started to get up himself, but slumped back into his chair when he realized that there was little point in running now. After all, he endured it this far. If he didn't get his tart treat back now, it was like he sacrificed his time for nothing. Which Sophie would be more than happy to point out to him most likely.
By the time she returned, he was leaning back in his chair once again. This time so that only two of the legs were touching the ground. However, when he spotted the bagged treat, the chair slammed down to all fours again as he reached his hand towards it. His hand which was retracted with a low hiss when she explained the terms.
"What sort of facts would those be?" He asked with a sneer. "I have a feeling the facts I'd bring to light you wouldn't like very much."

The ghoul was a little surprised at his willingness to cooperate. At least he wasn't complaining and was making some form of effort without too much complaint. It was better than nothing and she'd gladly take it.
"As long as your tone isn't sarcastic, I won't mind. They should be literal facts - not things like 'they suck compared to us'." She nudged the text book towards him and tapped it with a finger. "You might find some in here if you read a couple pages." She sat back in her chair and folded her arms across her chest, making sure to hold onto the bag the boil's minipet was in. She wasn't too concerned about him taking it anymore but he could be lulling her into a false sense of security.. She nodded her head towards him. "Well? Go on then."
