This was it. She totally found the pinata.
Except why did it smell like the ocean and things were biting her.
It took much longer than she'd meant, having to fight off some mermaids, beat one over the head (at least she got to beat something).
She made her way back up and stood beside Bix. They could share a mermaid moment.

"Oof!" Even sitting down, Lance wasn't safe from the rampant jabbing of America's stick. He leaned forward and rubbed the back of his head, shaking his head as he rolled forward and closer towards the hopeful Sun applicants.
Lance parked himself a safe distance away from Pinata-chan, yet still close enough to get a good view of the current events. He extended a wince of sympathy towards the hunters that were currently dripping wet. "Eesh. Ya guys soggy much?"

There seemed to be a thing with Sun Division and pinatas, not that Milo minded. His stash of candy from the last meeting was running out anyways, so it would possibly be nice to get a little more. Well, hopefully there was some in there. He had missed the beginning speel about this. And was half paying attention (totally qualified right here!)
Milo was about to summon Koume, until he noticed the need for the wooden sticks, so picked one up. So, they were going classic pinata. Spinning, spinning... spinning. Milo stopped spinning and wobbled, staggering slightly in his steps to regain his sense of placement in the field. He could hear Allan shouting somewhere... over there, but the ground beneath him felt... off.

Oh sweet super sentai, someone was shooting at him! Milo flailed wildly as the first fear bullet struck him in the side, and then another. And then another.

Shots residing now, Milo managed to regain his composure easily enough to try and get himself back on course. He tried feeling out with his hand at first, but with the limited range it didn't do too well so he resorted to using the stick in his hands. It found something alright, but what he hit (and the sound it made when he did) didn't.... sound like a pinata..... uuuuuh.

Fini raised an eyebrow at Lance, glancing between herself and Bix and back at him. And then, because she was such an awesome and sweet gal, who liked to share... she walked over and gave Lance a nice big hug, soggy hog.

Allan had an unusual take on spinning the players, Jordan reflected as he landed, thankfully on his feet. He wobbled, caught his balance, and tried to orient himself. He'd mostly spun vertically, he thought.
That way is up, Ferros pointed out helpfully.
Thanks. Jordan moved cautiously forward, possibly in the right direction. Allan was yelling something, at least, and it sounded like encouragement.

Simon didn't seem to appreciate Jordan's progress as much as Allan did, or possibly at all. Jordan gritted his teeth and stopped where he was, waiting patiently while Simon shot him several more times. It was just Fear bullets, and if he tried to keep going while being shot he'd probably lose track of what direction he was headed.

The stick bumped into something, and Jordan cautiously tapped the something and determined that it was roughly pole-shaped and not squirming, which might mean that it was not someone instead of something. He hauled off and smacked it hard. It was probably the pinata.

"Hey. Hey, hey, what are you doing?" Lance began to roll backwards as Fini approached him. He raised his hands to ward her off. Lowered them. Tried to position them in such a way that wouldn't -- "Gaaah!" He held his hands up in surrender as Fini deployed the soggy hug. Lance's arms fell to the side, defeated.

Unfortunately, as nobody actually managed to hit the Pinata (though they did come close, somewhat, in the department of not hitting another Hunter or running into mermaids proximity of close), Allan happily told everyone to remember their inner spirit, or some equivalent speech like that, and then in a gesture of showing inner spirit, threw the pinata into the air and blew it up in a gusto of flashy sword action, backflips, something about buster swords or whatnot, and magic.
There would be candy on the training field for days to come.
There would also be a very happy, as this was the only word to describe an envelope and letter covered in Pokemon stickers with a hand drawn illustration of what maybe was supposed to be the dark anime version of the Division lead, maybe, notification delivered to two Sun Hunters that only, beyond the swathe of stickers and illustrations wrote the words "^___^ COG CONGT CONGRADULATION!!!"
A day later this would be followed by a text from Simon to actually meet up at Allan's room, at noon.

Well, Allan wasn't kidding when he said this challenge wouldn't be easy, as not a single person, aside from himself was able to hit it. Plucking a few sweets from the ground, the sun hunter stuffed them into her pouch and proceeded to read the item given to her, which was then followed by a text from Simon.
Sucking in a small breath, Kat stuffed the picture into her pouch and started for Allan's room. When there, she rapped on the door three times before finally calling out. "Allan..?"

Jordan arrived shortly after Kat did; he nodded to her in greeting. "You too?" He suppressed the urge to fidget while they waited. He had a great deal of practice at covering nerves with a veneer of apparent calm.
