Gotta Dance~
“Are you alright?” A pair of soft hands touched Chloe’s shoulders and the scatterbug jumped upwards in surprise. At the reaction there was a soft laugh and the woman who was standing over her smiled warmly, “Ah. So you are alive.”
“S-sorry?” Chloe squeaked before closing her eyes again. Everything was spinning…her head hurt so badly too. Ugh. Leaning back against a solid wall the girl tried to take in her bearings. Long metal poles were attached to the wall and the walls were mirrors…on a smooth wooden floor? This place looked so familiar, but with the way her head was hurting Chloe couldn’t pinpoint it.
“Do you not remember?” The lady swept a delicate curl away from her face as she sighed softly, “Maybe not then…but dear you nearly were hit by a car.”
Chloe’s gaze widened in surprise, “I-I was what?”
The lady smiled quietly again at the confusion on the girl’s face, “You were on the corner there and I went to go see who you were. You ended up having to push me away from a speeding car though. Silly you would have been seriously hurt if I hadn’t pulled you back with me.” Her green gaze softened considerably, “Why did you do so much for a stranger, ma petite belle?”
Flushing Chloe turned her gaze away as the images started coming back together in her mind. She had been practicing in the forest when she suddenly realized she never got to see the ending of the dance number the studio had been practicing. So she had snuck back over again towards the studio, but the lady had caught her staring this time. Embarrassed she had tried running, but then the car came…
“I’m so sorry.” Chloe looked down at the wooden floor as she was too ashamed to look at the lady’s face, “I didn’t mean to get you hurt…I was just watching.”
“Hey, you don’t have to look so downcast. I’m fine and you were ze one injured.” She gently tapped Chloe’s shoulder until the girl looked back up at her, “But you were watching?”
“Mmmhmm…” Her cheeks flamed even more, “I didn’t mean to intrude, but I had to see the last part. I didn’t catch it last time…and I wanted to make sure I got it right.”
“Wait…you weren’t just watching, but you were learning it?” The lady paused and tapped her fingers against her chin, “Did you actually learn from watching?” How many times had this child been watching her studio then? She knew she had caught a shadow a few times in the halls of the building and others had mentioned a stranger…but was it this little girl?
“Ye-yes.” Chloe bit her lip shyly, “I don’t…know much about these places or dancing in front of others but I wanted to try.”
“Oh?” The lady looked around with a coy smile, “There’s no one here save for us currently. Why not show me?”
“Eeeh?”
“Show me if you really learned anything. I might not believe you.”
“Bu-but…”
“I won’t let you leave until I see the dance number done…”
“Ye-yes ma’m.”
“Go go on then…”
An hour of lessons later Chloe found herself clutching a form, “But I don’t-“
“Don’t worry about costs. I want you to come next week ready to dance.” The lady shook her finger at Chloe, “No backin’ out either, Chloe.”
“I-I…” Silently she swallowed her protests and nodded. Dancing her? Ms. Thea wanted her to dance here? The only problem was that she had to have a home nearby else the instructor would maul her for living wildly in the elements…she needed to take care of her throat and body. Chloe shook her head…yet another reason for her to finally take Kyllian’s offer.
Oh wouldn’t he be happy.
Not that she would ever tell him about this of course!
Dancing after all was her secret…

Ruins of Dreams
“Please be careful, ma belle!”
“I will!” Smiling into the sunlight Chloe waved once more before twirling off down the sidewalk. It had taken a few weeks, but with the help from the instructor and nurses the girl was finally back on track. Even the slightest limp from her accident had left her and Chloe felt as light as air. If only I could really fly right now. She grinned at the thought. Still she couldn’t wait to get to the forest! I have to tell Kyllian and Kole about this… Flushing at the thought of her friends the scatterbug paused, “Will he be okay with this?” She had never planned on being active with humans in the city, but the Madame was different. The older lady had helped her after the car accident and had supported her both in her recovery and in her future dreams.
Staring into a store window at her reflection Chloe looked at how the dainty dress hung against her body and how her hair laid down in a style now rather than sticking up like a bird’s nest. Madame put a lot of work into helping me. Her gaze went down towards the side walk shyly. I already had decided though that I was going to go back to Kyllian. She had been stubborn about it and finally had caved in on the idea of accepting his help.
Not because she felt hopeless anymore, but because she missed him.
I want to be there and have some more of those waffles he makes. She smiled at the memory of the first time she had been to the house. Maybe just maybe if she could get these things worked out the Madame could still help her with dance…even if just once a week. Nodding Chloe started back off again.
Soon the forest wrapped its familiar arms around her. It was a peaceful feeling knowing the paths that would confuse most and Chloe found herself humming. Now where exactly was it…? “Oh!” Her smile widening Chloe found the familiar building and without hesitation ran up to it. “Kyllian!” The rough wood surprising felt light against her hands. Had someone left the door open? “He-hello?”
It was empty.
Everything was gone. The happiness that had been swelling up in Chloe’s heart at her decision seemed to be falling in pieces around her as she walked through the doorway. This was the right house, right? “Kyllian?” Her voice called out soft and hesitant now. What was this heavy feeling in her chest? Tears stinging in her eyes Chloe found herself moving from room to room. Surely this wasn’t right. It was a joke! Had to be!
“Haha. I know I’ve been gone for a bit, Kyllian but this isn’t funny!” Spinning in a circle she noticed the stairs, “Okay so I might deserve this but you can come out now! I give, I give.” Her gaze was burning with tears as she took each step. Step. Pause. Look around. Call out. Step again. She was honestly afraid of making it upstairs. Would the upstairs be just as quiet, just as dead? No, no, no, no…
The first room she opened seemed just as hollow as the others. It was darker and a feeling of someone else lingered in it, “Kole…was this your room?” The tears truly were beginning to work their way from her eyes to her cheeks now, “Did…did I miss getting to talk with you in this room before going to bed at night?” She could just imagine it now…playing around with Kyllian and Kole then retreating to Kole’s side once she and Kyllian fought again….but the dream was translucent. Just like the cobwebs before her once the girl reached out they were gone. She had been too late.
Fear turned her stomach even more as she came back out to another room. “Kyllian…you didn’t…please tell me you didn’t.” She knew he had wanted her to live with them, but she had never realized how much he had betted on it. Noticing the one purple wall the girl reached out with shaking hands to brush against the paint. You….you really did. Her breathing was ragged as her fingers traced over the letters of her name. Chloe…
“Ky-Kylli-Kyllian?” She called out one more feeble time. Where were the boys? Where had Kyllian gone? He was supposed to be here waiting for her! Liar. Liar. You promised me that I would live with you. I came back to find you....I wanted to have your waffles again, Kyllian. I wanted to fight more with you... Tears blurred her vision as she fumbled around for the doorknob, I have to leave, I have to get out!
Instead her fingers found themselves clutching at a small box.
Slowly ever so slowly she opened it.
Inside rested a small metal hairpin that she knew had to come from Kyllian. It’s lovely.
Clutching it to her chest Chloe sat on the floor of what had been her room. The trinket, the smallest of things, had been the last piece to her heart. All the hopes and dreams of her childhood were resting in the darkness of the abandoned home. Each was lost with the tears that streamed down her face now as she cried clutching the one item that was now so dear to her.
Kyllian, I’m so sorry…..
Please, please be safe out there.

Changes...
Rounds of applause made her ear drums ring yet the teen showed no signs of shaking from the sudden noise. Instead the brightly dressed spewpa bowed her head and started to bounce off stage along with the rest of the dancers. It had been a nice recital…smiling lightly Chloe waved off several of her fellow students under the Madame before making her way to the grand stairs. While the others went home from the studio with its grand auditoriums Chloe made her way upstairs instead. After getting to the second floor another round of stairs was off to the side of the practice rooms she found herself dancing up the spiral stairs. Up round and round we go~ She smiled at the faint memory of her first time coming up here. It was like some fantasy to be in such a place. Kyllian’s house had been unique and startling on its own when she had come there the first time, but this place was beyond a simple home.
An old mansion and dance studio combined…Chloe loved every moment of it.
As she climbed the last few stairs the teen reached forward to swing open the old oaken door. Inside was the attic room that she cherished so. The angled ceilings reached over her small hands and she had always enjoyed managing to swing from each one during her earlier days of training. Too think I had been here for only a short time before waking up so different. Stripping her leggings off and freeing her body from the light dress which had swayed so beautifully on stage Chloe sighed. It felt nice being able to swing her body onto the full bed that decorated the corner with its soft comforters and silk pillows.
It felt like only a day ago when she had woken up on this very bed with a different body. Chloe had found herself shivering in the early hours of the morning and had found that it was difficult to fix her night gown. Indeed it was like the thing had shrunk and that she had suddenly found herself in a stranger’s body! Her hair was different she felt the silky strands in her hands and her fingers trailed over the cool forms of confetti like pieces that stayed in place. What happened to me? At first she had tried swinging from the bed but her longer legs had caused her to stumble and fall.
When she made it to the mirror Chloe had just stared in shock. Who was that staring back at her? Those eyes were the same…but everything else was different. She even had a mask like expression with the gray that was beginning to seep into her skin! What was this? “I changed?” She knew her kind evolved, but since she became a human everything was so strange. Was she different now? Strength shimmered through her body as she found that suddenly it was easier to dance around the room. Her legs were longer and more limber and her body sturdier. It felt like nothing could even pierce her skin! Almost like a cocoon… Was she a spewpa now then?
Chloe had laughed. It would explain the hair!
Thankfully Madame had accepted her change and even welcomed it. Chloe opened her eyes at the memory, What would she have done without Madame? Losing Kyllian and Kole had made her feel so lost and alone, but the stubborn lady had insisted on bringing Chloe into her world instead. Clutching a pillow to her chest Chloe had to blink back the sudden tears. How did my life change so much? Yes, she was fortunate to have someone like Madame taking care of her…but at the same time her heart ached for the simplicity of the forest and the company of old friends.
Perhaps it was best if she just kept being busy then.
Still her gaze lingered on the dresser in the room that held a piece of jewelry she would never let go of. That metal butterfly piece meant the world to her and she would forever treasure it. Just like she would treasure the memory of her pokémon friends for the rest of her life. I will find you guys…just you wait! For now though she would keep to her dance and song. Maybe the stage would help her to reunite with familiar faces one day.
She could only hope.

Journal Entry 1 (Teen)
“You did wonderfully again, Chloe.” The madam’s hand patted the teen’s shoulder as she walked backstage. It truly was a huge event with the crowds growing larger by the second to watch the girl perform on stage. Her dancing as a ballerina had truly began to grow and the instructor was curious about when Chloe would learn even more dance styles and even more ways to express the boundless talent she had as an entertainer.
Chloe just nodded towards the madam, “Thank you.” Once more it seemed that now that the performance was finished the girl had lost her spark. No true happiness seemed to come from the spewpa for months now. Every time that someone approached the subject the girl just seemed to shrug it off with casual comments of ‘I’m tired’ or ‘I’m just focused on my training’. She truly was focused as Chloe trained nonstop for hours at a time day after day. It was no surprise to find that the girl had went from being an amateur rookie to becoming the top of the Madam’s class in only weeks.
Still others worried about her. It was almost as if her dance was to drive away memories or dark feelings that haunted her. Every performance though was amazing as Chloe could instantly dissolve into the character given to her. “It’s easier to dissolve into someone than to have to remember who I am.” Chloe casually had answered her mentor once with a small, sad smile. Her past truly was a burden to her, but the girl refused to share her worries with anyone. It was all bundled up tightly inside.
Now though once the crowds were gone and Chloe found herself alone the girl closed the door to her bedroom in the madam’s mansion, “Oh boy.” Leaning forward towards the vanity in her room Chloe poked at the reflection there, “Is this really me?” It was funny to see her all dressed up like some fancy human, yet there was an obvious mask on her face from her pokémon heritage. Silly how she felt like she was forever wearing a mask lately and there rested a mask on her face, “A mask on my skin while others can’t realize that I truly am wearing a mask.”
She hated it.
Yet every chance she had the girl would sneak out of the mansion in the later times of the evening to go exploring around her old home. The forest still welcomed her, but at the same time Chloe felt a stranger. City life truly changes you. She felt like each and every snap of a branch was a warning sign of danger and found herself darting behind each tree. Once she would have just laughed at the noises in the woods and instead darted to hide away from the humans in the city.
It truly was a strange change for her. Still as Chloe walked forward she had to wonder what had happened to the two pokémon that she had seen as brothers in the past. Where were they and what were they doing with their lives? All she could do was just hope that they were safe in the world out there.
Just hoping and dancing always~

Journal Teen 2
I wonder how hard I can push myself? Chloe found herself wondering as she danced alone in the training room. The mirrored wall reflected every movement that the spewpa made as she twisted across the floor. The music that played was rather fast paced for ballet and indeed Chloe was practicing another style of dance today. It was more modern and far more intense for her normal pace. Still Chloe found that she was enjoying it. The more she worked and the harder she felt that she was pushing her body meant that there was less time for her to worry about other things.
It was selfish of her that she knew, but the girl had no other option. How else was she supposed to deal with her thoughts that always wandered towards Kyllian and Kole? Ever since finding the house abandoned she had felt like a part of her heart had been cut out. As much as she had been loath to admit it those two boys had been her everything. Without them she felt lonely and lost. Even here dancing on stage in front of a huge crowd felt like nothing.
Chloe smiled as she remembered her conversation with the Madame about why she danced. It had been some time after her first true performance on stage, but the girl had found herself slow to answer. Why was she pushing herself to dance so well? Others were going at their own pace, but she was shooting past them in her studies. But why? Was there a point to it all?
“At first when I was just a scatterbug all I wanted to do was to learn to dance and shine like those I admired…but now I want to shine so I can find someone dear to me.”
Her answer had intrigued her instructor, but still Chloe had refused to answer any real questions. “I’m surprised the Madam puts up with all my vague responses.” Commented the girl to her reflection before turning back to study the floor. Her feet were supposed to be spread like this at the beginning and then she was supposed to twist like this…frowning the girl found herself pausing. Was dancing really the answer to life?
Probably not.
But what else could she do? Chloe wasn’t a fighter, nor was she a major tactician. Her only skills included her bright smile, voice, dancing, and maybe a hint of charisma here and there. Really what can I do with all of that? She sighed at the thought.
She even hated violence. Even though she had always wanted to be able to keep up with the boys and to be able to stand against the best of them the girl had always been a pacifist. Violence had never really been her thing after all. She despised the idea of having to harm someone just to get your way. It was an awful world to force pokémon into fighting each other over and over so she was thankful that she could use her skills for dancing instead. Who knew that a spewpa could do that much at least? The thought made her smile sadly. All she could hope was that one day her dance would find the way back to her heart and to her friends.
Surely one day.

Learning Attract
The sun was beautiful in the clear skies as Chloe found herself walking down the city streets. The Madame had forced her to take a rare day off and so the spewpa had decided to go and explore. After all she lived in the city now, but had truly not experienced the life here as she had been rushed to and from concerts while spending the rest of the time in the mansion. So now Chloe had determined that it was time to actually use the money that she had saved and to see what the city stores had to offer.
At least they said that shopping would be fun.
Hoping the girl went through the first shop and actually found that it wasn’t too bad, “How much for this dress?” She asked the clerk who willingly not only told her the price, but helped her to try on other dresses as well. Soon enough Chloe found herself carrying out a few bags from other places as well. So this wasn’t so bad then.
The only problem was that she had to walk back home through the park by herself now. Great just great. She had miss judged the street that she was on and the girl found herself lost. “Haven’t I been here before?” She thought that the park was this way, but now it looked like she had turned into another empty street.
It was slightly eerie actually. Chloe found herself shivering as she took a few hesitant steps forward. Should she just turn around here and try again? Maybe if she was lucky she could find the shops and then leave from there again to get home. I should have just used the phone Madame gave me to call the driver. But she truly hated using others to get around. The old Chloe would have laughed at her helplessness now. Me lost? What happened to the Chloe that used to dance between the trees of the forest without fear?
“She’s far gone now.” Replied Chloe out loud to her inner voice, “Now she’s stuck in the city forest where the trees smell strange.” The commentary made a rare smile flicker across her features. It truly was a strange place here considering her previous home.
Unfortunately she could not be left alone to her thoughts forever, “Hey lady where are you takin’ those bags?”
Another guy snickered, “Looks like she might have a pretty penny left to spare for us then if she has that much luggage.”
His companion nodded, “Seems about right. What do you say miss?”
Chloe turned to look at the two teens that had come from the alley. Both wore ripped clothing and had tattoos that made them look like gangsters. Great just great. Maybe other pokehumans could be intimidating, but the spewpa truly was a pacifist. How was she going to get out of this one?
“Hey look. I’m just walking through here so if you guys don’t mind pointing me towards the park I can easily just leave your area.”
The older teen snickered, “Why would we wanna do that? Seems like you might have some goods for us after all.”
“No, no I don’t!”
Chloe found herself running before the two had her caught up against a wall. Oh what do I do? Both boys were getting way too close for comfort. She couldn’t use any fighting moves either and felt pinned in…feeling the flush on her cheeks rising Chloe finally blinked towards the boys with an idea, “Would you guys really want to harm a lady in distress like this?”
“What?” Both frowned before they started laughing.
Still Chloe felt strange and swore she saw like a pink haze, “You certain?” The girl tried her best to look helpless and innocent. Surely they wouldn’t want to harm her? All she had done was accidentally wandered into their gang’s area.
Both boys found themselves blinking, “Uh..I guess…should we reconsider?”
Chloe nodded slowly, “Wouldn’t it be better to see who could escort me to the park?”
Soon enough she found herself being led towards the park by two bickering boys who both wanted to help carry her bags. I don’t know exactly what I did, but I guess it worked? Chloe found herself hiding laughter as she waved to both dazed boys as she left them behind. Even as she left she could still hear them bickering about which one had been truly noticed by the pretty girl.
Attract truly was a helpful thing for a pacifist like her to have.

LOG RP (Chloe x Ransom)
Sofya had given her a list of things to get in the city that she needed for them to be able to continue on their travel. Some of their supplies ha dbeen damaged during their unexpected dunking in the river some days back, and they'd finally come to stop in the forest outside of the city. Sofya would have gone herself, but she was keeping an eye on things there, drying out stuff they coudl salvage and all. Ransom, was being sent to replace certain foods that had been ruined, amongst other things. The Torchic girl stared at the list clutched firmly in her hand, treating this solo foray into the city, as an expedition into unknown territory. Which, it mostly was she realized.
Chloe found herself drained from the previous concert and had decided to take a day off to explore the city again. Ever since she had managed to stand up to the goons that had tried stealing her belongings, the girl felt bolder about wandering on her own. Show no fear right? Smiling at the thought Chloe began to walk through a major shopping district of the city. Thankfully she had already done her clothing shopping so all the girl wanted to do today was just explore.
Though those pretzels look awful tasty. Taking out some spare change from her purse the spewpa bought one to carry in hand. Breaking off a small part she popped it into her mouth before chewing thoughtfully. Not bad, not bad at all. Her gaze was focused on the pretzel and so she nearly hit the torchic girl as she brushed past.
Ransom had been busy looking around, to find the stores she needed to get what was needed, and so hadn't seen the Spewpa coming towards her until the last minute, almost crashing into her. "Oh! Sorry!" Ransom chirpped sheepishly. She had in her looking, also been day dreaming that the city was an empty ruin with no people around and that she was exploring it looking for information on the lost civilization. She looked at the girl closely then, a smile on her face as she flipped her long pony tail over her shoulder a moment. "Uhm...maybe you can help me? Never been here before, and I'm kind of lost." first rule of exploring a new city. Ask for help if you were lost from someone friendly...and the teenager certainly looked friendly!
Twisting on her feet Chloe basically did a pirouette to avoid crashing completely to the ground, "It's...it's alright." She offered a small smile before nodding towards the torchic, "You're okay right?" Thankful that she hadn't been a complete fool to ram into the stranger the girl took a moment to study the other pokehuman. She had never seen someone like that before around here...she truly was interesting looking.
Chloe nearly chuckled at the comment, "It's pretty easy to do here. I'm still finding my way around, but where are you looking for?" She felt like surely she could be some help to the other girl. After all she remembered when she was still a stranger to the city. It truly was a chore trying to find out the places by yourself.
That spin made her eyes go wide she was so graceful! She hadn't seen such a thing before. "Woooow.....are you a dancer something? You're pretty enough to be one, and you're so graceful!" she was wide eyed with awe. She was a much more...rough and tumble and blunder through it tomboy. "Oh well...Sofya said we need some new supplies...I need to get food...and a couple clothing things...but food most of all." she looked down at her list. "A lot of our stuff got soaked in water a few days ago and ruined."
Flushing Chloe nodded, "I uh do dance." She smiled at the compliments, "I wouldn't say all that, but thanks." Compliments were always nice, but Chloe always felt awkward around them. She didn't feel like nothing too special yet the Madame was always making her do recitals now. So hearing praise from outside of the stage really was something else as well!
Chloe frowned as the girl continued speaking, "Oh no! Then we definitely have to find supplies for you. I know of a good supermarket around here..." Her own purse felt heavy as it was so the girl was hoping that perhaps she could help more. After all she remembered her 'borrowing' days when she lived alone in the forest, "I'm Chloe by the way."
"Ohhh that's so neat!" she was smiling broadly at the teenager, amazed she'd guessed right in her compliments! That wasn't something that tended to happen often, but it made her smile brighter, fidgeting some with her hair. "I'm Ransom, it's nice to meet you!" she stuck her hand out to shake, Sofya having taught her proper manners after all. "A supermarket would be great thank you! If you just point out somewhere I can get new clothes for me, I'll come back another day for those. Food first." it was more important!
Chloe nodded, "Yep yep." Her feet twisted lightly beneath her. Maybe it was a cool thing to be a dnacer. Still the girl couldn't help flushing. She truly was not used to having compliments. Nor was she really used to being social just yet. I really am too shy for my own good.
Blinking at Ransom's hand for a moment Chloe finally reached out her own hand to shake the other girl's. "It's nice to meet you as well?" She smiled warmly, "I can actually walk you there if you want. I've got nothing really pressing to do right now." The girl tugged thoughtfully on a strand of hair, "It's just over this way." Walking forward she started through the crowds and up the street towards where a huge store stood with its doors open. Food, clothing, it had a little bit of everything really here.
She was happy to meet a dancer! Just wait till I get back to camp and tell Sofya! She'll be so impressed I think! it would be something interesting and exciting to tell her trainer she knew, and so getting back would be fun! "Can you? That would be great thank you!" yes, Ransom was a chipper little torchic! The light glinted off the crystals on her shoulders as she turned to follow the other, not moving through the crowd of people anywhere near as gracefully as Chloe, instead she could have been compared to a bull in a china shop, almost pushing her way through. Once she got to the doors and looked inside she was amazed. "Woooow....so much stuff...."
Watching the girl's reaciton made Chleo smile. It was funny to see her own first reaction to stores reflected in Ransom. This supermarket definitely was big and nice. Madame normally told her that this place wasn't the best for the style of clothing she anted for her dancers, but Chloe found herself coming here anyways. Why go so expensive when things could be reasonably priced? At least for her own personal food and clothing that was.
"Food is on the left side in huge isles. There's really a lot of options." She commented with a grin, "I know you said no clothing, but is that because you don't have time or you need a way to get clothes?" She flushed at being so blunt about it yet was truly concerned. What would be the harm if she helped out a little?
Ransom's eyes felt as wide as saucers as she looked around. This was different from any other store she'd ever been in, so it was a lot to take in all at once, and she didn't know where to look first, because she didn't want to miss anything. "Oh...that's nice!" the question on clothes made her grin though. "Sofya gave me lots of money." she patted her pocket where she had a wallet tucked away. "I can only carry so much, and Sofya couldn't come. She's keeping an eye on camp and our things that are drying. So I'll have to make trips. First trip, food. We need that more. Second trip can be clothes."
Chloe smiled in relief, "That's good to hear." Not that she minded, but the spewpa was just worried. It was always hard being a pokehuman, but it seemed that this other girl was doing alright. Sounded like Sofya was taking care of the girl.
"Still though you can count my hands too." Chloe commented with a grin, "I mean I know I might be a little small, but I can still carry a thing or two." She flushed lightly, "That is if you're okay with me helping." Wasn't it weird for a stranger to be so willing to help? But still pokemon had to stick together!
Chloe smiled at the idea, "Sounds like a plan then." Sofya seemed nice and Chloe really hadn't met a trainer before so that would be interesting! A ping of jealousy when through the spewpa though...would her life be different if she had a trainer from the beginning? But then maybe she wouldn't have met the boys and then the Madame...I guess I should just be happy then with my life now.
Following Ransom's lead Chloe got a basket and smiled, "Alright then lead the way." For a day that she had been expecting nothing out of this had really turned into an interesting time. She truly was glad to meet Ransom and also was interesting in meeting this Sofya as well.
Perhaps it really wasn't bad to take a break from dancing after all.

Aromatherapy is learned! [Skill 2]
Preparing for another recital had the whole room in nerves. Not only was this a performance of the year that they had been working so hard towards for the past month, but there was also the fact that this was a competition. Schools from across the region had gathered here to compete against each other and now they were standing here towards the final. Chloe was just happy to be able to help Madame build up her reputation even more so.
There was a problem however. Chloe had worried about one school who seemed to be full of mischievous trouble makers. They keep staring at our group awfully hard. Frowning Chloe had just shaken off the feeling before going to finish warming up with her group. They were at a competition with officials and an audience. Who would do anything bad here?
Still after warming up with the group the girl excused herself so that she could wander outside. Fresh air sounded nice so she found herself walking around the little garden that was outside of the building. The flowers there grew in bright little bursts of colors and Chloe had started to look closely at them when she heard the door open, “Chloe, Chloe!” One of the youngest of the dancers was crying as she stumbled forward, “There’s something wrong!”
“What happened?” Chloe reached out to grab the girl’s shaking arms, “Speak to me, what’s got you so upset?”
Sniffling the girl had to take a few moments to pause in between sobs, “After you headed out there was a delivery of water for the girls to drink. I wasn’t there cause I had to use the restroom, but they all drank the waters while I was gone since you know practicing had gotten us thirsty.” Her gaze was watery as she stared up at the spewpa, “But there was something wrong cause they started to act sleepy and fell backwards. I can’t wake them either…”
Chloe immediately raced towards their practice room. Finding the first girl sleeping on the floor the teen reached over to shake her companion, “Hey, hey!” None of them were waking up just like Lillete said. What was going on here?
“Do you think they put something in the water?”
Chloe frowned as she realized the troupe that Lillete was speaking of. I really should have listened to my gut instincts then… They probably had put sleeping powder into the bottles. A really dirty trick, but better than others. “They probably were hoping that everyone would drink so it would look like we had forfeited now.” Obviously not right at the finals since the team didn’t want to risk it, but if it happened before the competition then it would look like they hadn’t arrived this time.
How dirty! It really was something…was there anyway to get the sleeping effects off of them? Chloe was suddenly reminded of the flowers growing outside. The scents had been lovely, but strong…wouldn’t something like that be handy currently? Some sort of aroma to wake everyone up… She closed her eyes and imagined the flowers. Please, please let something happen.
Suddenly the scents filled the room. It was a pleasant smell that was heavy and made a haze throughout the room. Almost like a miracle the girls began to stir carefully with wide yawns and teary eyes. Chloe found herself feeling drained as the last of the haze went out of the window. I just did that. She smiled at the thought.
“What happened?”
“I don’t know, but you guys are awake now so let’s get going!”
Slipping into her shoes again Chloe smiled. The one thing their rivals hadn’t bet on was that a pokehuman like her could use Aromatherapy to revive everyone. She was just glad that the ability came to her in the nick of time. Just like they always had before.
Now to go win the competition…

Time for a Haircut? (AIM RP: Meeting Dart!) Chloe clutched at a small piece of paper in her hands. Was this…this the place? The teen had to double check the street one more time before feeling comfortable about walking up to the door. Madame had told me that I could find him here, but I dunno. Was it such a necessity to have a stylist? Or to even be so picky about it for the matter once she had one? The spewpa sighed quietly under her breath. It was so strange that her Madame was so specific in things including using this salon every time. Of course now that it was her dreaded turn to seek out a good stylist the Madame had to get a cold. So now it was up to her to pick her help. “Just what I always wanted to do.” Taking a deep breath Chloe swung open the door and tentatively entered the salon. Just tell them about my appointment…not too hard. Right?
Finnigan's was absolutely hopping today. The warmer weather brought customers in by the dozen, each seeking a new trim for both themselves and their Poke'mon companions. Tribal dance music pumped through the speakers at just a volume so talking came just as easy as random dancing spells. It was the type of day that made Dart a very happy man. Sashaying across the room, he went over to the receptionists desk, and peeped over Marissa's shoulder while she talked on the phone. With his hip cocked, Dartagnan was able to scan the list for his next appointment.
Twirling his hair about with a finger, he looked up to see a cute little whisp of a girl walking in. With Marissa preoccupied, Dart took it upon himself to welcome her. "Come in, sweetie, and get out of that dreadful heat." Looking down at the sheet, he peeped back up with a grin, "You wouldn't happen to be Chloe, would you?"
It really was a busy place. I guess Madame really knows her places. The music was nice and upbeat though. Far more like her own style compared to the slow classical from yesterday. It was much more upbeat and alive. If there weren't a crowd of people present the teen might have considered letting loose to dance with it. Now though she just froze in place as she heard her name.
"Chloe?" Blinking her silver eyes the spewpa flushed lightly, "That's me alright. Am I yours?" She smiled lightly before her flush rose. What an awkward way to word things. But it was strange she was expecting a female stylist but the air of this guy wasn't too far off. He seemd more gentle and feminine than the guys she knew...and he defintely had style.
Hopefully he would do as good as Madame wanted.
"If you're Chloe, then your all mine, sweetie." Dartagnan winked her way, and traipsed out from behind the counter. He put his hand on his daisy duke covered hip, and used the other to motion her forward. "Do you want something to snack on? A drink? Jeanette makes great oatmeal cookies, but don't touch them if they're in the pink wrapper, those have raisins." The way he spoke was almost an aside, clearly an attempt at whispering thought from the way an older woman glared at him it didn't work.
Finally he settled behind a teal stylists chair near the back of the salon. The entire station was decorated in glitter, pink Blitzle print, and mirrors. So many mirrors. "Have a seat, and tell me what you're here for." He hoped for a lot of things, honestly, because Dartagnan was itching to get his hands in that hair. It was so full; thick and bouncy, with enough adornments to make him drool.
Oh gods she was all his? Chloe flushed vibrantly at the thought. Maybe she should have skipped out on the hair styling today and just went to practicing. The Madame would have never known right? She sighed softly at the thought. Most likely the disappointment from the Madame at finding her lying would have haunted the spewpa forever then. At the mention of snacks the girl just shook her head, "I'm alright...thank you."
As she awkwardly sat in the seat Chloe found her legs still wanting to move. So as she listened to him she swung her legs lightly to try to ease her nerves, "What I'm here for?" She repeated with a frown, "I suppose just a trim and to restyle it a bit?" She bit her lip thoughtfully, "I'm not usually picky so the stylist always decides." Oh jeez I sound like a stumbling idiot.
Sashaying over to a little cabinet near his station, Dartagnan threw open the doors dramatically and began to search it's contents. The doors themselves were slow to open, almost as if this was such a common occurrence someone had prevented them from slamming into the wall.
"Oh?" Leaning back with a happy little grin, he picked up a cutting cape and kicked the doors shut with a perfectly pedicured kick. Of course the cape was as bright as the rest of his things. "Oh, I am just going to have a blast with you, honey." Tossing the cape about her, he clasped it behind her neck and turned the chair to face the mirror.
"Pigtails are cute; innocent. Full of life." He accented his speech by flipping them up about her face. Then as quick as he could, Dartagnan took up a pair of scissors and cut out the ties holding her hair back. "You are not innocent! You are a Persian ready to pounce. You are not cute; you are a seductress. An agile flower whose petals are poisonous to the touch, but oh so inviting."
Wow. He must truly be into his work. Chloe had to resist the urge to giggle as she watched the drama unfold before her. She knew that stylists could really get into things, but she hadn't seen many male stylists before. Not like she had much experience in the first place, but still. He definitely was an interesting guy.
"You are?" Chloe raised an eyebrow. Was her hair that special or something for him to seem so excited about it? Then again others had always said she had beautiful hair. The one good thing that a spewpa seems to have. As he continued talking she could only flush, "I uh...think I am pretty good on being innocent actually." She squeaked in protest. She was definitely no persian wanting to pounce! She didn't even know anything about this seductruss business either. Was that like being a wizard or something to do with magic?
I'm also not a poison type... Chloe blinked helplessly as she tried to settle into her fate.
"Don't take it literally dear, it's an expression." Dartagnan patted her shoulder. Running his hands through her hair was more challenging than he thought it would be. Each time he hit one of her accouterments, Dart expected them to be able to disengage. To his amazement they did no such thing. "Well how odd," He murmured. He gently tweaked one about his fingers, and leaned forward to study it. "Natural accessories...I love it!"
The furfrou leaned forward to grab a water spritzer and went to town on moistening those luscious locks. "So, tell me a little about yourself. I want us to be come the best of friends, and I think it only fair that your hair resemble the young inside, don't you think?"
"Oh." Chloe flushed as she felt truly dumb then. I really have no idea about things, do I? Perhaps it would be better if she just kept praticing dancing rather than her social skills. At least she wouldn't fail at that. As he ran his hands through her hair she had to wince lightly, "Yeah they're pretty natural." She commented shyly. At his compliment she smiled. At least he seemed to love them rather than find them a nuisance.
Chloe frowned, "About me? Umm...there's nothing much I suppose that's too interesting." oh did she really have to talk? The spewpa smiled faintly, "I'm just a dancer for Madame Rosette who owns the studio down the way. Other than that I guess nothing about me is too important."
In all actuality he quite enjoyed the little obstacles. It gave him something different to poke around with, and so long as he was gentle it would all work out right in the end. As his fingers ghosted passed the head set, he paused to look back to her, "And this as well? Are you a hybrid, honey? I've never seen quite this many goodies on any poke'mon before." It was truly quite exotic.
Once Dart had her hair nice and moistened, he took up his comb. What little knots there were he made short work of before starting in on the trim. "Madame Rosette, oh I knew I would like you. Charming woman, one of our favorite guests." Mostly because the girls she sent their way always wanted the most intricate of styles. Some of the stylists detested that sort of work, but at Finnigan's it was welcomed. "Nothing important," He scoffed and swatted at her shoulder. "Bah! You're a dancer, are you not? That's plenty important, dear. What sort of dancing do you do? I'm a bit of a shaker myself, you know~"
Chloe was so used to the headset that she had almost forgotten it was there until the stylist spoke up, "Oh!" She almost shook her head but stopped herself. Probably shouldn't do that when he's working on my hair. "It was a blessing really. A singing pokemon that almost looked human happened to see me one day and she wanted to compliment me. So now I have that as well."
She smiled again, "She is a very wonderful lady." Oh he truly was full of compliments! Chloe blinked at him though as he swatted at her shoulder, "If you say so then..." She trailed off thoughtfully. She loved dance and thought the world of it, but she was still ge tting used to how many others truly respected the art. It definitely was amazing seeing everyones reaction to her line of 'work'.
"Ballet mostly, but I'm learning other ways of 'shaking'." She commented with a faint grin, "Madame says I need to learn to relax, but I truly enjoy practicing all that I can."
A blessing? What an odd concept. Dartagnan had to admit he was a bit jealous since no other Poke'mon had yet to bless him, but he wasn't so green with envy that he doubted his own fabulousness. He snipped and trimmed, weaving his experienced hands throughout her hair.
"Honey, if you were wound much tighter I could pull your hair and set you off like a wind up toy." Dartagnan cocked his hip, and pointed his comb at her in the mirror. "What you need is a night with yours truly. We'll go out, do some dancing, get into some trouble and drive all the boys wild."
Chloe pouted at his comment, "Well maybe then I would be able to dance easier that way. Just wind me up and set me out on the stage." She murmured in reply. A rare moment of sass to show her true spirit that had been hidden behind the shyness. Why did he have to think she was so uptight? He doesn't even know me... But maybe it was true she did need to learn to relax more. Didn't mean that she wanted to easily admit to it though!
So lost in her thoughts Chloe just found herself nodding, "Sure, sure." Slowly though the words sank into and the girl blinked, "Wait, what?" Drive the boys wild go dancing? Who her? With him? Eh?!
"Oh, this skitty's got claws! Mreow!" He pawed at the air with his fake claws and chuckled. Setting his sheers down onto the table, Dartagnan began his styling. Every few moments he would take a curling iron to fluff up some spots, but for the majority it was just his own twisting with some product. A lot of product.
Dartagnan also pulled out a few flowered barrettes from his personal stash to add into the mix. When he was done he sprayed it, placed his hands on her shoulders and peeped around her head at the mirror. "See? Pigtails are so out. You'll drive them wild with this. Of course, I'll have to change it up for tonight...." He went on and on. Of course he had styled Chloe's hair into an updo with lots of bounce and curl. What else was he to do for a dancer, hmm? "I'll swing by to get you at 8."
Chloe had no response for him until she saw her hair. It really was pretty! Gaze shimmering the girl looked back towards him, "It's really...beautiful." She whispered quietly. Sure the other stylists had done well, but Dartagnan really was something. He truly did go all out on this. She smiled and reached up to gently touch a flowered barrette.
"But wait! I don't know..." She blinked shyly...he had done so much for her already, "If I go can you promise to let me pick you as my stylist?" Chloe blurted out, "Madame says we are allowed if the stylist is willing that is." She flushed more, "So I suppose I can go out with you if that's the case then." Truly Chloe what are you doing? But surely there was nothing wrong with getting close to a boy that wanted to go dancing to get guys right? She definitely had to be safe there then.
She just hoped she could keep up with the pace as it seemed that this type of dancing would be more wild than she was used to.

Dancing through Memories~
Chloe found herself wandering downstairs. It was rather convenient living in the mansion with Madame because when she wanted to leave the attic room she occupied the girl easily could. All she had to do was open the door head down the spiral staircase and through several other hallways and rooms before she came to the studio portion of her new home. Through there she could easily access the stage and the practice rooms that all of Madame’s dancers used. Today thankfully was Sunday so no one was in the mansion as it was the one day of the week that the Madame made certain to take off.
It was supposed to be a day of rest for everyone, but Chloe didn’t know how to rest. She would much rather burn away her worries dancing. After all how was she supposed to keep getting better if she slowed down now? Already the girl had taken twists and turns to get far beyond those who had been training for years now. A natural talent they said she had. Chloe just believed it was in part from the fact that she wasn’t completely human, but then again she had met several pokehumans who had two left feet when it came to moving.
The thought made her smile. So maybe she was a bit of a natural talent after all. She truly hated complimenting herself though. One thing Chloe knew for certain was to always keep a calm head and to stay humble. If not she would become one of those prima donnas that drove her insane. All day they would spend making themselves up rather than practicing or helping the younger students. She was truly glad that the Madame didn’t tolerate such behavior well so the older students in this school were not as bad as the other ones she had encountered.
Those students were just horrendously vain and conceited. Chloe smiled as she remembered her first time on stage against one. I’m sure she enjoyed watching me as I took the major role in that production. She flushed at the memory though. The fact that Madame trusted her with so much truly was amazing. Yet here she was going through recital after recital with different roles. For such a ladder though it felt like her climb was never ending.
Thinking about dancing made Chloe remember the reason she had come downstairs. “Time to practice some.” Finding the player she turned on the ipod that was attached to it and let the soft music slowly fill the room. While she was picking up other styles lately the feeling of ballet was the most relaxing for the spewpa.
Ever so slowly Chloe stretched out her arms above her head. One. She made certain that her lean body stretched out as her fingertips touched above her head. Next were her legs which she twisted out away from her body one at a time. Two. Then Chloe sat on the clear floor and pulled her body backwards so that the back of her head touched the floor as well. Several slow stretches later she felt like her body was ready to go.
Twist, turn, twist, jump, arms… The Madame’s words echoed through her mind as she went through the motions of a dance. It was interesting how others saw it as a beautiful thing that seemed easier than it truly was. Each movement took a strain on her body and her feet especially had become calloused after weeks of practicing. Chloe still remembered how easily she had blistered the first week of dancing. Now that had been an interesting time!
“Am I really going to be able to keep up with the other girls, madame?” The scatterbug had sniffled as she looked at her poor feet. They were blistered and throbbing from the hours she had spent in the practice room on her own. While the others only went through a couple of hours of dance a day she had instead chosen to continue practicing for several extra hours into the night. Only the Madame’s interference had kept her from dancing even more hours a day as she was told to rest instead of stretching herself thin.
“You’ll be fine.” Madame Rosetta leaned forward to apply the ointment for the girl’s feet, “You just have to get your body used to ze exercise.”
Chloe just pouted at the older lady. How was it that someone so tiny like the Madame could easily jump to life on the stage? I wish I could be like that. She remembered thinking over and over those first weeks. But in a way it was more than just a mentor she had inherited from the school. The Madame treated her like a long lost daughter and took care of all of her needs while letting her learn dance.
Though Chloe had always been terrified that she was going to fail easily and that the Madame would give up on her at first. The very first few days she had fallen on her butt several times by trying to do more than the other girls. Still her determination had truly shined through and soon enough Chloe was dancing with the middle schoolers and then just a month later the high schoolers who had been dancing for several years.
At the realization Chloe laughed, “I guess I’m not so hopeless after all.” Spinning one last time the girl paused to rest. But what was next for her? Eventually like with every piece the dance would end and she would find herself in a new position. She just hoped that it would be for the better and that hopefully it would also be with her friends.
She just had to shine enough so that her light would find them first. But Chloe was determined and just as she climbed up the ladder here at the school she would figure out a way to find her friends. I promise you guys no matter what I’ll not forget you.
One day she would show them her dance as well. That was a promise.

Melody of Life~
She truly missed the forest some days. Leaning out of her window in the attic Chloe sighed wistfully. It was beautiful outside and on a day like this she could have easily been splashing in the streams with Kole again or even chasing after Kyllian for another silly argument of theirs. It was strange thinking of how easily she could imagine doing these things, but at the same time those were memories for ages ago.
So much has changed since then.
Chloe smiled as she watched the wind whipping through the gardens below. Loose flower petals swirled through the air and she found her finger trailing after them through the window pane. Was that how she appeared when she danced? As a flowing flower petal scattered by the wind? It’s a lovely thought. She could only hope that was the case then.
Soft music trickled from her ipod and the girl found herself lightly singing along to the melody. Sure it was her own words with the tune, but she felt that they fit and flowed with the music just as well as the original. It was fun even coming up with her own melodies on the piano at times. The Madame had started teaching her to play after all and Chloe found that also took up much of her time as well.
“Music really suites you as well.”
Chloe jumped in surprise as she heard the voice, “Madame when did you enter my room?”
The petite lady laughed, “Just now dear. Don’t fret I was coming up to see if you wanted some tea when I heard you singing.” She lowered a cup on the desk in Chloe’s room, “Chamomile just like you enjoy with honey.”
Flushing Chloe went to pick up the delicate china cup, “Thank you.” Oh it smelled heavenly. Just like with the bouquets that Chloe normally kept in her room the girl loved the smell of flowers. It was lovely how not only did their bright colors light up a space, but their smells seemed to clear the air. Ever since she had learned the move aromatherapy the girl had kept the abilities of flowers close in mind.
The gardens below as well were another reason for her growing love of flowers. The Madame had kept the gardens well with rose bushes and many other types of wild plants decorating the paths that twisted on the grounds below. Her gaze wandered towards the paths when the Madame caught her staring, “Do you wish to go on a walk Chloe? I have something to discuss with you as it is.”
“Oh?” Flushing even more Chloe slowly nodded, “I can do for a walk.” Taking the tea in hand she slowly trailed after the Madame down the intricate staircase that led to her room. Instead of taking the main stairs though that connected the two main floors the two ladies took to the back rooms where the old servant’s hallways led to a smaller staircase and straight into the old kitchen. Through there was the doorway to the gardens.
“So Chloe…” The Madame waited until they were far out into the gardens and circling around the huge fountain that rested in the center, “I hear you singing often throughout the gardens and the mansion, but it wasn’t until ze other day that a friend suggested something to me.”
Taking a sip of tea Chloe leaned against the cool stone of the fountain, “That you buy ductape for my loud mouth perhaps?” She teased lightly in an attempt to hide her embarrassment. She had no idea that others were nearby when she was singing! I never would have opened my mouth if I knew. Oh gods she wanted to go crawl into a hole and die. How bad was it? Did the Madame curse her through the heavens for making such a spectacle while there was a guest in the mansion?
Oh she hoped not! How awful Chloe was feeling at the thought. How could she stand to shame the Madame when she had done so much for her already? Chloe started to silently beat herself up when Rosetta’s voice once again broke through her thoughts.
“No dear.” The Madame laughed quietly, “She wants you to take up singing lessons.” Her smile increased even more so at the baffled look at her adopted daughter’s face.
“What?” Chloe found herself squeaking, “I can’t sing! No it’s not possible at all. I sound like a creaking chalkboard, I sound like some mouse, some banshee, some murcrow, just nothing good.” She finished from her rambling with a brilliant flush across her distressed features, “How could she suggest such a thing?”
“Well actually you seem to have a lovely voice.”
“You…you must be joking.”
“No I think it’s rather lovely myself as well.” The Madame nodded, “I think you should expand upon it as well. Not only does your dance suit you, but music. The stage truly is a place for you to thrive, Chloe.”
“So you want me to begin practicing song as well?” Chloe’s mind was spinning. Already she was on stage for dance recitals and had made big progress with the public there so how much more could she do? She was truly honored, but she was actually scared.
Could she do it?
The Madame must have noticed her worries and reached out to pat the girl’s shoulder, “Don’t rush yourself. We just want you to take lessons to expand on your voice. There’s not going to be any concerts just yet.”
“You say that, but I don’t know.” Replied Chloe quietly with a small pout, “You said the same thing about my dancing.”
“Oh, did I?” The Madame glanced around innocently, “Perhaps I did.”
“Yes, yes you did. You said I would only take lessons and we would see if I could even begin catching up.”
“And catch up you did. You have such a natural talent it would be a shame to waste it.” The Madame smiled, “It was like you were blessed. Wouldn’t want to insult anyone by letting it go to nothing, right?”
Blessing, blessing…Chloe reached up to touch the legendary’s blessing that had given her the microphone piece on her head. Perhaps there was a reason that the legendary had given this to her instead of something related to dance? Sighing Chloe looked up at the Madame, “Sign me up. I suppose I’m going to be singing on stage shortly soon.”
The Madame just laughed, “We’ll see. I know my friend will be delighted to hear this though. Tomorrow at noon she’ll be in the practice room for you.”
Nodding Chloe waved as the Madame headed back into the mansion. Just what had she signed herself up for this time? I swear my life just keeps getting better and better by the day. Despite the sarcasm there was a smile on the girl’s face. She truly was curious to see exactly how far she could get with song as well as dance.

A Night out with Dart (AIM RP)
Dartagnan sat comfortably in the back seat of Flynn's sedan as the trio drove up to the Madame's mansion. What had started out as a simple evening with the two of them had blown up as soon as Dartagnan's owner refused to let him drive the car alone. The nerve! Just because he lacked a licence or any experience didn't mean he couldn't learn on the job. Irene had a babysitter, so Marissa had come alone to keep Flynn company, and Dartagnan's night of mystery had begun in the backseat.
He tried not to let it ruin the mood. While his hair hand't changed, the young man had swapped out his casual clothes for a pair of short black leather shorts, heeled boots to his knees, and rainbow star suspenders. Naturally he had glowing bracelets all the way from his wrists to his elbows. Why wouldn't he?
"You sure this is the place," Flynn mused as they pulled up. "Your friend's got it in with the Madame, huh?"
"Apparently." Dart mused. He rolled the window down so he could lean out and look in awe at the place.
Chloe dashed about her room in a tizzy. While she may have agreed to go out with Dart tonight the girl truly didn't know what to expect. "Oh what was I thinking?" Clothing was being tossed left and right throughout her room when she noticed the bag from earlier resting on her bed. One of the girls had overheard her freaking out about tonight and had volunteered one of her outfits for the spewpa to use.
"Is this really what someone wears for a night out?" Chloe made a face as she held up the short shimmering dress. Still as she heard the buzzer announce someone at the gate the girl had no choice but to slid into the tight material. Her hair was a bit more wild than before but a bit of Dart's touch still rested in the curls. Chloe actually thought of grabbing a ribbon from her wardrobe as well to tie around her waist. It was silk and a forest green that blended in fine with the shimmering material of the white dress.
Innocent, but daring? That was what the girl had said about Chloe in this dress. Sighing the teen just pulled on the flats that she also had before heading down the stairs and through the main hall towards the door. Just a few more steps and she would be at the gate where a car was waiting for her.
Dartagnan may have been the first to spot Chloe, but it was Marissa that called out to her. She waved the girl closer while the teenager just looked on in wonder. Dressed up as she was Chloe really was a lovely girl. Coincidentally, she was also just as bright in her clothing choices as Dartagnan himself. She was almost entirely monochromatic except for the bits of red in her hair and the green sash around her waist. He could easily imagine twisting her around on the dance floor in that dress, and watching the lights play off its sparkles. Finally kick starting his brain, Dartagnan waved her closer. “Chloe! Chloe, baby doll, get your fine self into this car so that we can get our freak on. “ Giving the side of the sedan a few slaps, Dartagnan slid back inside and over into his seat. He was either ignorant of Marissa’s groan, or completely didn’t care. More than likely it was the later.
That was the car right? At least she hoped so. Else it would have been a very awkward situation with the girl approaching some stranger. Still Chloe's face did flush as she was called baby doll and also told to get into the car. As soon as she saw that there were others there the girl found herself freezing. Still her iron determination kicked in and Chloe took a few steps to follow Dartagnan inside.
Biting her lip shyly she offered a small wave to everyone, "Hey." Blinking the girl looked around inside of the car, "So where are we off too?" She questioned Dart softly before sinking back into the seat. Maybe she could just fade away now...
From the front seat, a violet haired young man fiddled with the rear view mirror while the dark skinned young woman turned back to smile at Chloe. "Don't worry about us; we're just the chauffeurs. I'm Marissa, and this big guy is Flynn."
She turned back in her seat while Flynn gave a wave into the rear view mirror. His hand didn't stay up for long before it was back on the wheel of the now moving vehicle. "I told Dart to give us a call when you guys are ready to leave. Do you have a curfew we should stick by?"
Dartagnan twisted in his seat so that he could give Chloe his full attention. Seeing the scenery pass by around him kind of gave the furfrou a head rush, but it was nothing he wouldn't get over. He leaned in, this time in an actual whisper, "It's a secret. If I told you, it wouldn't be as much fun."
