Not everyone would have paid attention to words that were spouted out. However, Nysa was keen enough to note how the newly introduced Irene added "I would say" to a statement that clearly did not need such in front of it. It was carefully placed there, which meant she was not offering the superficial pleasantry most would have assumed.
Taking her gloved hand within his, he was careful to not overstep any boundaries for the evening, merely offering a gentle shake rather than his usual greeting for a young lady. "Indeed, this is not our first time meeting, but it is still a pleasure, Miss Irene."
With one final little shake to her hand, he released it back to the owner. "I would like to think that I managed to escape without damage, but the night is still young." With the back of his hand, he brushed his bangs slightly out of his line of vision. "I just hope there are not too many more of these duplicates around the city... they seem to be rather... troublesome." With a brief sigh, he glanced towards a nearby building. His instincts told him to ensure the young lady got home safely, but his head told him it was not wise to overstep the boundaries she already seemed to lay out.
"...Duty calls, Miss Irene..." Once more, he offered a partial bow before he bound to the nearby building. If anything, he had at least removed one more threat in the city. An achievement, even if the gratitude may have seemed underwhelming.

What was this guy going on about? If he went and got himself hurt after this, it was his problem, not hers. Not that Irene wanted to see anyone wind up injured, even someone annoying, but she wouldn't lose sleep if he got himself into trouble after they'd parted.
Or was he offended that she hadn't bowed before his supposed greatness? If so, she liked him even less than she had before!
"I will bear your warnings in mind, Sir Nysa." If only because having to be rescued by him again would be the epitome of humiliation. "Please do be careful as you go on your way. I would hate to think that something ill might befall you."
Still wouldn't lose any sleep over it, though.
As she turned, Irene did a very unladylike thing: she stuck her tongue out. If all knights were like this one, maybe it was for the best that she hadn't met many. Even if it was partly her fault that they had gotten off on the wrong foot, he hadn't helped at all, and she wasn't going to worry about him one moment longer.
