The crowd popped as Jarel smirked and swung back on Salem after having ate a hook like a caught fish, but even in the big pond of Bad Blood Wrestling he was still a shark. With a swift straight, Salem was stuttered in mid-motion, but the rookie narrowly ducked beneath the foreboding left fist aimed at his temple. Popping back upright with a bounce to his step, Salem tried to push the fight further by throwing wild rights and lefts as he advanced forward, trying to back The Dragon up by getting into his guard!

missing the left, The Dragon is rocked with several rights and lefts from his younger opponent. His back hits the ropes and strangely, Jarel doesn't cover up. That's never been his style. The Dragon instead tells his opponent to keep it coming.
"Come on! Try harder!"

(auto move i guess)
finally, Jarel reaches through the wild shots he's taken, attempting to grab Salem by the neck with both hands. From here, the Dragon would look to show his power by tossing Salem out over the top rope

The open, evening air had been cool, but the temperature was gradually rising in the stands as people got heated up from the sight of Salem throwing fists at his seasoned opponent. Like a man possessed, the rookie applied pressure to The Dragon with his erratic offense until the veteran was backed up into the ropes. Despite this change of pace, though, the Grandfather of Hardcore appeared eager for more from the "Most Wanted Man in Wrestling", urging him to bring his A-game. Too lost in the frenzy to notice, Croft couldn't react to the sudden grip of Jarel's fists around his neck, jerking him up and over the ropes with pure, brute strength. But even though he lacked the wherewithal to stop it as he sailed frontwards over the side of the ring, Salem still managed to reach up and hook a hand around Jarel's head, hoping to land with his feet on the apron while reversing the momentum of his fall into a rope-assisted neckbreaker!

Jarel somehow finds himself dropped across the top rope and for the first time hits the mat, laying on his back in a slight daze

It had seemed as though Salem was going to be sent sailing out of the ring, but thanks to a little quick-thinking by the Freshman Phenom, Croft countered the toss over the top rope into a neckbreaker right onto the colored cable! The crowd popped for the unorthodox attempt to take down The Dragon, who had fallen from the whiplash and was now laid out across the canvas. Not wasting any time, the "Most Wanted Man in Wrestling" grabbed the upper-most rope while standing on the apron before jumping forward back into the ring, flipping to try and level Jarel with a Somersault Leg Drop!

Lying on the mat, Jarel would seem to be quite prone for the leg drop. He's not moving at all and Salem is flying high. Unfortunately for him, the Dragon rolls to the side at the last second and lets him crash to the mat. Rolling to the ropes, Jarel pulls himself up and tosses his hair back from his face, then crouches as he waits Salem's next rise, upon which he would attempt to spear the younger man out of his shoes

A dazzling array of lens flashes bathed Salem in mid-flight like a comet, the dazzling rookie looking to stun both the stands and his adversary presently plastered across the canvas. The moment was spoiled, however, as The Dragon became a possum in just enough time to evade Salem's somersault, leaving the lad to land hard on his legs. Gasping in pain, cradling his hamstrings, the M.W. Deuce tried to stand up quickly and stretch his seizing hamstrings, only to feel his spine snap in half from the sudden force of a seasoned spear from Jarel! Head snapping back, Salem's eyes went wide as he was leveled to the mat with a ring-shaking impact!

being the veteran that he is, Jarel goes for the early pinfall attempt. You never know when a big move can catch your opponent off guard long enough to get the three count

Members of the audience gasped as Salem was floored by the spear, fearing the worst as The Dragon dropped low and went for a cover. Moving into position as well, the referee put Salem's shoulders in his line of sight and began the count. One! Two! the official shouted, Salem one second away from losing this title match. But even though he probably had trouble breathing at the moment, the Freshman Phenom still had the awareness to buck an arm up, bending it at the elbow to not only break the count, but hopefully give Jarel a little hair of the dog that bit him with an elbow across the face!

perhaps Salem should have considered waiting until he stood to continue brawling with the Dragon. As the elbow strikes him and his head snaps to the side again, Jarel's legendary temper is sparked. as such, he turns back and looks to throw several left handed shots at the downed Salem's head

OOOH! the crowd gasped in unison, watching as Salem's elbow snacked into the side of Jarel's head, doing nothing to move the veteran and much to anger him. With a fierce and heavy left, The Dragon tried to wail on the Freshman Phenom for his resistance, but in the same moment the M.W. Deuce would roll with his opponent, trying to hook his swinging arm to reverse their positions and attempt a few hard rights of his own!

Salem's putting his all into this, Jarel will give him that. You know, later when he hasn't been put on his back with a younger guy trying to bash his skull in. The crowd is beginning to wonder if Jarel has perhaps lost the momentum he's built here in BBW. Perhaps the newcomer is too much for him.....
the hell with that. Despite taking a couple of shots, Jarel attempts to catch Salem's arm, which honestly is being fed to him and what the hell kind of former MMA fighter would he be if he didn't switch strategies? the arm is not enough, as Jarel quickly attempts to pull Salem into a triangle choke, a personal favorite submission hold of his

Salem reversed his position, managing to put The Dragon on his back, but the sudden sensation of being choked halted the rookie in his tracks. The crowd lit up and started cheering on their feet as Jarel transitioned from a pin to a chokehold, but despite the redness on the rookie's face he was refusing to submit as the referee checked in on him. Bracing his feet, Salem grabbed Jarel's lower back for leverage and summoned up what strength he had to try pulling his prone opponent up off the ground, only to turn around and try slamming him down into the mat with extreme force to hopefully break the veteran's grip!

what do you know? The young guy has some power to him. Good thing for him, as Jarel has won championships with this hold. Unfortunately for the Dragon, being slammed to the mat weakens his grip just a bit, though he attempts to hold on anyway
