Labyrinthite always warned those that he trained with that he was not an easy teacher. That he was a harsh instructor who would guide them, but injure them if they didn't try to keep up. It was never his intention to kill, but he was okay with breaking his trainees because he wanted them to understand that if he was a senshi, or a knight, he would not hesitate to eliminate them. He wanted them to understand the gravity of war, to realize that the enemy would not hesitate to get rid of them if they had the chance.
He never aimed to permanently injure or to even break bones in these spars, but he would give them one hell of a beating if it meant they'd come back more determined to return the favor.
He had anticipated, from the moment he lost his balance, that he would like end up on the ground and was proven correct as she latched onto his elbow and twisted, bringing him down like she wanted. He cursed as his back hit the ground and his left hand released his scythe, which then went sliding across the warehouse floor.
He didn't think about his next move, he was throwing himself sideways, towards his captured elbow, launching his free had as a fist to whatever it could hit. Labyrinthite was very much aware that things could go quickly down hill for him if he remained on the ground and she got above him. He had a strength and skill advantage but to be limited in range and mobility could be devastating.

Success.
Zircon's expression narrowed to a smug grin as she found herself atop the Captain, unable to contain the glee she took in besting him for one small moment. However, momentum being what it was, she found herself unable to stop the spin she'd started, toppling back down to the floor beneath them. She felt the punch to the gut before she'd even seen him throw it, and with the single hit she felt the air drain from her lungs. Something in her ribcage might have even cracked.
The lieutenant thudded unceremoniously on the ground and stayed there for a long moment, gasping for air. "...I'm...okay..." she wheezed finally, lifting what might have been a shaky attempt at a thumbs up.Nuxaz short post but I figure they can wrap up sparring if one of them is injured haha

His blow hit harder than he expected, because it was a direct hit and Zircon crashed into the ground. He picked himself off the ground quickly, prepared for another attack or counter but his opponent stayed grounded and Labyrinthite worried that he might have critically injured her.
But then she wheezed and the captain felt the tension seep out of him in relief.
He walked over, rotating his shift, sore, shoulders and offer her his hand. "I thought I felt something break when I hit you," he admitted, concern rippling across his handsome features. "We'll call this session over with, let me tend to your wounds."
He broke his trainees but he always patched them up afterward. "Let's get out of here."AMItotic He will probably teleport them out after your post, or you can just do it!

Zircon breathed, and something in her side crackled and ached. She hissed in pain, but shook it off, pulling herself to her knees. Her mind began to spiral into a series of annoyed and offended thoughts, when she looked up, it was to an outstretched hand, and for once, the whining stopped.
"...Sounds good," she said, reaching up.Nuxaz I think we can wrap it here! Thank youuuuu <3

He pulled her arm across his shoulders, settled his other hand gingerly on her hip mindful of the potential injuries. Once confident that his grip on her was secure, solid, he inhaled deeply concentrating on the image of his room in his mind. Exhaling, he let the power of teleportation flood through them and then-- they were gone and the warehouse empty.
