I like the idea Angelo through out there as well, it would be nice. smile I am always down for things like that, especially when they cause temporary truces between enemies.

as for Twi, I won't rewrite him... he's my character for all of my Gaia-setting RPs. he's a pet project.

Hmmm, I like that remake idea. Will have to flesh out sporadically, though. This week is so bad for me.

That's fine.
One of my ideas is that in the rewrite, everyone's characters have at least one shady or morally questionable aspect to them. People don't work with the mafia and still count as an upstanding citizen.

Twi has plenty of shady and morally questionable aspects. ninja not least among them being he's a bloodsucking soulless creature of the night. xd

Most of Koji's decisions about the KGBO are stemmed from naivety. Maybe his 'morally questionable' aspect can be that after so much time with them he developed a warped perspective on 'upholding justice' in the city like his brother did so he's fine with killing for the Kuro's because he perceives it as the right thing to do? Mostly because I had the same misconception about the Kuro gang when they were first introduced, oops.
/shrug
I dunno, I might need some help editing him, lol.

Sounds like an interesting arc! o:
Would it just be a side-mission? Or would the Kuro's be sending them in to deal with the problem of the two forces going at it? [becuase obviously they have to keep the world safe if they want to rule it, lol]

I think it would be a side mission. [Nods] Johnny would get the details from a couple of Demons, so it would be Johnny that's sending them out on the mission. To be technical, though, it would be both the Angels and Demons sending them out on this mission. Because if Fate's book falls into the wrong hands, it can unmake existence. And if existence is unmade, both the Angels and Demons lose. Both want control, and both want the numbers. (I'm thinking of this in "Supernatural" terms- We both watch and like the show, so it just makes it easier to explain it to you!)

Now, if we want a Mission assigned to us by The Kuros, I've a good one- Jay and I have talked about this before, many times- The Black Ops team is given a mission by Cordell to stop a Drug Operation from selling a New Drug, and this new drug is: Vampire Blood, but its street term is 'Red Dye', but some new users- who are trying to make it less obvious that they're buying this drug- call it "Punch". This drug has various effects, depending on how old the Vampire is that the blood was drawn from. The younger the Vampire the "crazier" the user becomes; The young Vampire's blood, when taken, would have the same effects as Viagra, Ecstasy, and PCP. However, if the user ingests an Elder Vampire's blood it the equivalent to basically smoking pot- minus the paranoia- and drinking A LOT of alcohol. The user would be both High and Drunk at the same time.
Well, this drug is being sold on Kuro turf, and so the Kuros would want this operarion stopped immeditately. Lots more in this arc would happen, but I don't wanna give too much away. Just know that this mission would be important to The Kuros, because this new Drug would be bad for many reasons.

alright, well, first off, I wanna say that neither the Vampires nor the Kuros were particularly good guys. after all, the Von Helson Bloodline was quite evil until Louie took over, and Louie himself showed alot of disdain for Ambrosia and only sided with her because he actually hates Zhivago much more than he distrusts Ambrosia.

they are both sympathetic villainous groups however; Louie still shows as much familial love for his half-sisters, the Von Helson Twins, as he does for his brother Ian. and while he doesn't really have that much pride in his legacy, he chooses to remain Vampire because that is how he grew up, and he still half-assedly uses his title as Vampire King and Patriarch of the Von Helson line with limited liability. meanwhile, the Kuro Gang, while clearly evil as well, do everything that they do to advance the Dark Elves because they were outcast and cursed by the rest of elvish society. they are pariahs, and they desperately wish to regain their former glory. Luca and Cordell miss their mother and feel that she was wronged. and Luca (as well as many Kuros) hates vampires because of the treachery shown by Cordell's father after she risked her life and threw away her crown for him!

so, yes, they are certainly sympathetic, but neither side has anywhere near a clear conscience.

secondly, I would like to address Angelo's (and Jay's? was it a joint idea, or one that you both like?) "New Drug" idea. I LOVE THIS! biggrin the idea that the age of the Vampire who's blood it was effects the quality and effects of the drug is especially on point; nice touch with that, I think it's perfect. I would even suggest letting Elder Blood have something of a stimulant effect.

It was mostly my idea, but Jay really liked it, yes. [Nods]

Well, the Older the Vampire the more of a calming effect it'll have- At least, for humans. This will affect the different races differently. Like, uhm. . . For Orcs, maybe the blood from a younger Vampire would act as Steroids for humans, or something. For them this could be a performance enhancer- Especially if some are Boxers / Cage Fighters / Construction worker. For them it would be like taking a 5 Hour Energy shot, or two, plus Steroids. For Humans and SOME Dark Elves it could just be a means of getting high / "stacked". Y'know?

yeah, totally. smile it's well thought-out, and makes me think you know about the drug scene from experience (which isn't hard to do, even for clean people, depending on who you know).

I was a drug addict for some time, yes. So, I know how to write about these things. I wanted to make sure that it was written about correctly.
I've a small idea as to how it would affect Grombies, too. That part is going to be complicated, I think.

if you want some Lore on them, I suggest contacting Yeata Zi, of E-Corp and G.I.B.

So, I have an idea as to how the drug could affect Grombies. I've a feeling that the Grombies are like the ones from "Night of the Living Dead"; They move slowly, and what not.
Well, I had this idea where. . Like. . When a certain amount is ingested, it could temporarily bring them back to life OR make them more aggressive than they are. If temporarily brought back to life, their senses would be heightened even more so than they are now, but not FULLY alive. Just "alive" so that they could possibly be controlled- Like, mind control.
And I just now thought: What if Grombies could be controlled via Vampire blood? I would think that the Kuros would be interested in this, because with a small Army of Grombies on their side I imagine this would be a big deal to The Vampires. Because the source of the drug IS indeed Vampire blood, and you can obtain this willingly or forcefully from the Vampire. I imagine this would worry the vampires a great deal.
So, what if (and I'm just now adding this to my original idea): The Kuros want this Drug Operation shut down, BUT. . They want SOME of the vials of blood so that they could experiment on The Grombies?
See, Originally I wrote it like this: The group goes in, Destroy the Warehouse, Destroy any / all evidence of the drugs, and the whole thing just gets swept under the rug. . But what if The Don sends another covert team in PRIOR to the destruction of the Warehouse to obtain a crate or two of the product, and then once the rest is destroyed the experimentation on The Grombies can begin?

This is just a thought- I won't toss this into the story unless you guys like it.

Very interesting ideas. The drug cartel sounds Gaia-like but still original.

I'm going to post. I'm so busy. orz
