"Oh yeah, we were talking about your hoothoot earlier!" Sienna remembered aloud, not even stopping to wonder what they were supposed to do now that they were actually in the balloon. "Sounds like he hasn't quite accepted you as his flock leader, or primary caretaker." She guestured in the air, like she couldn't quite find the right word. "He needs to understand that without you in the human world, he could get hurt." Sienna looked over to the other girl, finding her smile completely normal and cheery. Pooky was a cute name! Though she did bring up a good point about what they were supposed to do next. What were they supposed to do next? "I'm sure our Captain will tell us what to do soon." The bird keeper figured. Though she didn't have evidence that she should, Sienna trusted the Captain and his ability to keep them safe on the trip. "I guess while we wait we should just check and make sure everyone is okay?" She suggested. Generally, everyone looked quite battered. Another trainer complemented her swablu, who was still snuggled in her lap. "Thanks! His name is Skylar, and I'm Sienna, by the way."

Valarie tilted her head to the side, "How would I do that?" she asked. This was her very first pokemon, so she didn't want to make anymore mistakes and have Fois end up hating her.

"Hm." Sienna thought about it. How did she exactly do that with her first pokemon in Zatao? That was Frey, of course, her Pidgeot. He was a pidgey when they met, and the exact opposite of Sienna's cheery, optimistic nature. She had to gain his trust, mostly when it came to battling. He didn't think that she was very good at battling, he was doing all the work and that listening to her would hold him back. "Definitely show him that you know what you're doing and he can trust you. Yeah, I think it all ends up as trust." Sienna nodded, still thinking about advice to give and hoping she was right. Giving advice was hard. "And don't worry about being wrong or making mistakes. You're supposed to learn from them. As long as no one gets seriously hurt, everything is fine!" The girl smiled. Then she realized this was probably the first time she had given anyone advice. If she wanted to be a great gym leader, she should probably work on her advice-giving skills. Sienna hoped to herself that she was good at giving advice, and hadn't mislead the other trainer.

Lilliputti tried her her wings a few times before turning her attention to Fois. " "
Gepardo nodded to the officer. "Alright then...you wouldn't happen to still have some of that booze, would you?

Erika shook her head. "Nah, drank it all 'fore we got on the balloon in the first place."

"Thank you, Vana," Eros said, courteously, if still on edge. "I'm happy to see you again, too." The boy glanced nervously back toward the Pidgey swarm again. They seemed to still be occupied with the airship itself, but who knew when they’d turn to attack the balloons. He was surprised some of his balloon mates could be so calm, carrying on their own conversations while he sat here fretting. Awfully inconsiderate. "Do you think we'll cast off soon? This was supposed to be an escape, after all, not hide-and-go-seek." Eros tugged his coat collar up and tucked in his head to protect his neck, not that it would be much help if the Pidgey did decide to pursue. Dido, sensing his distress, purred and rubbed herself against her human's arm.

"Oh yes i suppose we should, it would be better than just waiting around for that captain anyways. Speaking of him does any one know what he meant about 'the slight mishap with the cruise adventure'?" Vana asked curiously before wandering around the basket trying to figure out how they would set the balloon free.

Speaking of him does any one know what he meant about 'the slight mishap with the cruise adventure'?" Vana asked curiously before wandering around the basket trying to figure out how they would set the balloon free. "Oh you didn't go on the cruise?" Sienna piped up. "A little while back, there was this advertisement for a free cruise to a place called Felicity Island. I signed up, free vacations are great! There was plenty of free food, fun games, and then when we got to the island..." The girl's face was a little less cheery. "Well, I guess that was kind of fun too, we went on a safari, but it was nothing but bidoof. They ended up swarming our group and trapping us in this crazy underground temple. That was pretty intense, but everyone made it out okay. I bet nothing like that will happen on this adventure though!" Sienna smiled, somehow obvious to the fact that something like that had already happened on this adventure, but with pidgey instead of bidoof.

The Captain sped by in a hurry, paused, and looked back. "Err... You might want to recall that ponyta there, miss." He furrowed his brow in confusion before rushing off again.

[Jan and Delah- WERE ON A BALLOON]
Jan and Delah were shoved onto the balloon by their overprotective Electrike, who growled at the pidgeys still outside. Jan did a double check of his sketchbooks, and Del tried- in vain- to fix her hair. But at least the twins were safe. "Um..." said Delah, feeling awkward, "Hi"

Location: Balloon Basket 3 Interacting with: Basket 3 What? Recall Pooky? Fifi glanced around. Well, the basket was getting a little crowded. She recalled her ponyta, just in time for two more people to crowd on. "Oh, hello there! I'm Fifi!" she said cheerfully to the new arrivals.

The Captain came running back from where ever he had disappeared to. "Keep your arms, legs, and hats inside at all times, ladies and gentlemen! We are off!" The Captain motioned with his arm and fire pokemon from the ship scampered over, turned on the burner in the center of the balloon, and used additional fire to speed up the lift off process. Bird pokemon joined in as well, untying the ropes that held the balloon to the side of the ship. This third balloon followed the second, and if you watched, you could see the last one proceeding to head off soon as well.
The pidgey paid no attention to the balloons and continued flying about the main ship. It was looking like they were going to escape in one piece.

(I guess I'll start us off with the rolling :3?)
Sienna waved hello as well to the new arrivals, and whoosh! Before she knew it, the balloon had taken off. The basket teetered from side to side on occasion, making Sienna feel more like she was on a boat than in the air. Ballooning, she decided, was not nearly as graceful or controllable as real flying, and therefore she concluded she wasn't all that fond of ballooning.
Then the captain flew by again - where did he get that dragonite? - and started spouting facts about the geography of the land below them, what pokemon lived there, etc. This was pretty boring, but Sienna thought boring was fine after all that chaos with the pidgeys. She shifted around a bit, trying to not disturb the other passengers. Spacing out from the captain's lecture, she began petting Skylar's feathers.

"Really? that sounds terrifying, being trapped in an underground temple." Vana was surprised that the other girl had come one this trip after the first one. "Hello, I'm Vana" she said introducing her self to the twins that had jumped on. She sighed softly to herself, she wished her twin were here. Vana knew Aqua would have loved the flying ship. She listened as the captain rambled about the geography of the area. She was starting to wonder why it had the name clockwork.

Erika watched the captain drone on with vague disinterest as Blaire continued to stand guard over her. Riiiiiip... Erika froze momentarily. Hell was that? She kept listening, but all she heard was the captain talking and the sound of the breeze passing by. Must've been the wind, then.
