Since it seemed the medical condition of most pokemon were under control, Yusaki felt a little better about taking time to go through the social niceties of introductions. She gave the young girl with the lavender hair a friendly smile. "I'm Yusaki," shifting her grip on Korou, she raised the Mightyena's paw to wave slightly, "And this is Korou!"
Korou suffered the indignity silently, intently cleaning her other paw and taking in the other pokemon that were sharing this balloon with them.

Katori opened his eyes at the voices, Danae squeaking against him. "Danae?... wh..... oh!" he murmured "Katori, this is Danae... i guess i could do with some patching up" he looked down at Danae who nuzzled him lightly, noticing her scratches from the pidgey "Is anyone a Pokemon healer? .. i.. Danae, she's hurt" he shook his head to clear it of the confusion, or to try to anyway.
"Those Pidgey... they acted so strangely, almost like...i don't know.. " he rubbed his face, his hand came away a bit bloody and he finally noticed the cut above his eyes. "Oh.."

Cara smiled a bit as each person introduced themselves and their Pokemon companion. She had to say, all these Pokemon were beautiful and cute. "Nice to meet you all." She turned to Katori and offered him her services. "I'm no healer but, I do have a first aid kit and some Oran berries that I brought along just in case. I had a feeling that if this trip was anything like the last one I went on, I would want something useful. It looks like you could use some bandaging up too."
She scooted over so she was closer to the slightly older male and his Cyndaquil and pulled out the healing potion, Oran berry, and bandages. "Danae here is very cute. I haven't seen a Cyndaquil in ages." Then she spoke to Yusaki. "Korou is very beautiful as well. I have a new Poochyena at home named Sage. I'm still getting to know her so we don't have much experience together yet."
The fourteen year old cast the others a perturbed smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms, Cara, Ms. Yusaki, Mr. Katori," she said to the man and women with a practiced tone that seemed almost reflexive and robotic. "As I said, I'm Magnolia and this-" She patted Rho's head, causing him to stiffen with the expectation of a pet. When there wasn't one and she withdrew her hand, the feline pursed his lips and looked away from the others as if silently cursing their existence. "This is Rho, my Glameow."
She muffled a small chortle at the playful handling of the Mightyena. Such a cutesy greeting was not befit of the gruff appearance of the Bite Pokémon. As it namesake implied, Magnolia had the expectation the Pokémon would certainly turn on its owner. When it didn't, she amended the trainer's raising of her.
"I've never seen a Mightyena up close before," she said, keenly observant towards the Pokémon. "Nor a Cyndaquil or, well, most of the Pokémon here," she said. "I am familiar with most cat Pokémon though," she added, noting the sight of a Meowth in their midst. "But I know most about Glameows; he was my first Pokémon, after all."

Michelle looked around at the group as they introduced themselves. "Nice to meet you all. I'm Michelle and this fluffy thing is Remy." She said and scratched under the Meowth's chin, making him purr.
Cara looked up at the teenager with a small smile. Something told her this girl wasn't really a people person by the way she smiled. "Rho is a lovely Glameow. And I know how you feel, a lot of the Pokemon here...I haven't been that close too but I do know about. I love seeing all their different colorations and patterns, it's quite fascinating." She said, looking around her and trying to make polite conversation.
She then managed to glance outside of the gondola for a moment and saw that there were only a few stragglers left out on the balloon platform, fighting off the onslaught of pidgey. She turned back to Magnolia when she mentioned that the Glameow was her first. "Nice. My Lucario, Rio, was, oddly enough, my first Pokemon. Then came my Persian, Dante, right after him."

Daniel tumbled right on inside the balloon, he looked rather beaten and bruised at this point and used the side of the basket to pull himself shakily to his feet.
A shiny Pidgeotto flew in and lighted itself down on the top of the young Trainer's head, making itself comfortable. The blonde gave a small grin. "Seppu, you made it, thank Mew."
The bird simply crooned and looked down at his trainer.

As if the balloon being filled was a cue for him to show up, the Captain's head popped up over the brim of the basket.
"Secure your belongings! Recall any large pokemon, or ones that are afraid of heights! Don't worry! The pokemon know what to do! Here we go!" The Captain motioned with his arm and fire pokemon from the ship scampered over, turned on the burner in the center of the balloon, and used additional fire to speed up the lift off process. Bird pokemon joined in as well, untying the ropes that held the balloon to the side of the ship. Not long after, the first balloon was off.
The pidgey paid no attention to the balloons and continued flying about the main ship. It was looking like they were going to escape in one piece.

While Korou was unmoved by the compliment paid towards her, Yusaki glowed with pride at Cara's comment. "Why thank you! She and I have only been together for a while as well, but she's very loyal. For all the reputation the species gets, I've never had a more sweet tempered companion."
Turning her head slightly to look at Magnolia, she gave a light laugh. "They're not nearly as scary as they look," to demonstrate her point she began to scratch Korou's chin which got an appreciative grumble out of the weary Mightyena. "My first Pokemon was an Ekans, Yilan, who I think would get along quite well with your Rho had he come along with me. They seem to have a similar air to them." Her lips quirked up, thinking about her less than cuddly Ekans who had opted out of the trip with his usual dramatics.
Before she had much time to comment further, the captain had chimed in. She checked the strap of her bag to make sure it was secure, and pulled out Korou's pokeball. The Mightyena gave her a doleful look, and Yusaki reassured her with a soothing pat. "I'll let you out as soon as we land, promise," and with that she recalled Korou to the safety of her Pokeball, and braced for what was coming next.

She looked over at Yusaki from treating Katori and Danae with a smile. "You're very welcome. I love all the canine Pokemon, it's sort of one of my goals..or dreams rather to have all of them on my team. I have an Arcanine, Tiger, and Poochyena, Sage, back home. I didn't feel Sage was ready to come on a journey like this just yet and Tiger...he wanted too but Spirit here beat him to the punch and I felt it would do her more good than him."
Cara looked up quite shocked when the young boy tumbled in next to her and Spirit. It was a good thing Spirit was nestled securely in her lap otherwise the kid might have landed on her, and that would not have been pretty. She saw the special colored Pidgey fly in and land on the boy's head and thought for a moment that it might be a part of the crazy flock, but when the boy called it by name, her fears were assuaged. She then went back to bandaging up Katori's head and handing him an Oran Berry to give Danea.
A moment later she was again startled by the appearance of 'the captain'. That man is insane! She thought. While he was speaking she put her First Aid Kit away and made sure her pack was secure and that Spirit was safely nestled in her lap. It wasn't that Spirit was afraid of heights, not by any means, Cara just didn't want her to be caught off guard by a strong, stray gust of wind.
Sitting back, they watched the Ship's Pokemon go to work on the balloon, getting it underway. Hopefully the menacing Pidgey would pay them no mind and the rest of her friends made it out of that mess and onto the other balloons safely.
Katori blinked at Cara, "Oran berries and healing potion, yes i think just one would be alright, right Danae?" The cyndaquil just sighed and curled against Katori, she liked to battle but those pidgey had been something else, she was slightly shook up. "I'll be mighty grateful" he mumbled, not getting up. "Thank you" he said as he took the berry, feeding it to Danae once she'd taken the potion. "Danae was an odd one, she attacked my Arcanine, IceFyre, she's just a companion y'see so she just sat on Danae til she decided it wasn't worth fighting no more, guess Ice' told her something good about me 'n she decided to tag along, aint had a battler since i quit drinkin' Danae's the first" he realised he was babbling but couldn't seen to stop, the shock of the pidgey and seeing Danae hurt, hurt him deep. "Almost could take it up again after today" he sighed, rubbing his face with one hand again.
He turned to the other girl that spoke, "Been a strange day t'day huh?" he smiled at her, trying to lighten his own mood as well as any tension in the group. He nodded to the other girl, with the fluffy Meowth "Nice t'meet ya" When someone else tumbled into the Balloon Katori shifted to make room, he startled when an oddly colored pidgeotto fluttered, placing Danae behind him and scrambling to his feet, fists clenched. It wasn't until it landed and the young trainer spoke to it that his heart began to slow down again "Glad that's a friendly one" he said, his voice low, cautious about the pidgeotto. Who knew what set the flock off, could be something that could affect that pidgeotto too, not just the wild Pidgey.
"Hey! now just you...." he started at the captain but was cut off at fire type pokemon scampering into the basket, the fact they were getting the balloon going surprised him enough for him to take his focus from the Captain. The bird types he was a bit more wary of, after the pidgey attack who knew what was going to happen next. Well .. he didn't really have time to think about it as the balloon started to pull away from the airship. He let out a bit whuff of breath, relieved they seemed to be safe. He looked at Danae and sighed "Sorry girl but it's gonna be safer fer ya to be in here" he said, pulling the Pokeball out of his pocket "Have a good rest, i'll let you out in a bit, i promise" Danae squeaked a weak protest but she was still in mild shock at the pidgey attack and had been spooked by the trainer's Pidgey so she didn't fight as she entered the pokeball. Katori tucked the pokeball into his breast pocket, close to him and shouldering his pack once more.

His Pidgeotto crooned and Daniel scratched the bird's neck the way he knew the pokemon liked it.
"Sorry Seppucrow startled you guys," Daniel gave a rather bashful look as his shiny bird hopped down into his arms. "He's really quite well behaved."

Updated with RP on Nov 1 @ 8pm PST Cadence looked to Yusaki when she inquired about her own well-being and that of Amaryllis. "We are doing alright now, I'm glad I decided to hang on to my bag when we boarded the ship though. I would hate to have been stuck without any of my supplies after that crazy affair."
Her attention was drawn to Magnolia next and she offered up a few oran berries. "I don't normally carry potions with me but I do have a whole bunch of berries, you can have some, you might need them later too." she offered up a handful of the small blue berries to the other girl and then set to work on organizing her pack.
A few minutes went by and the balloon filled up. While Cara tended to one man, Cadence offered up her assistance to Daniel. "Hey there, you look pretty beat up, do you need some help getting bandaged up? I have plenty of supplies." A moment later she saw his Pidgeotto fly in and for a moment she thought to attack it but when she realized it was tame she just broke into a huge grin. "Oh! I love your Pidgeotto! He is stunning! I have one myself, not shiny though, his name is Torryn." Once she was certain her assistance was no longer required by the blond she addressed everyone in the balloon.
"Hey there, I'm Cadence, and this," and here she lifted Amaryllis into her arms. "is Amaryllis. Since it seems like we'll be stuck together for awhile I suppose we may as well get to know each other. I have been travelling for years and never encountered a flock of Pidgey who acted like that. I wonder if we stumbled upon their breeding or nesting grounds?"
After she introduced herself she looked off into the distance and saw another Pidgey. Her heartrate sped up a little bit but when it appeared the Pidgey wasn't going to pay them any mind she relaxed again. Apparently whatever had driven the others nuts wasn't affecting that one.

Yusaki collected herself from the sudden appearance of the captain, and carried on chatting as if nothing had happened. It would take the edge off the sure to be nervewracking balloon ride. Her eyes lit up a bit as she spoke to Cara, "An Arcanine? I've always wanted to meet one! My mother had a Growlithe when I was younger, but to see a real, grown Arcanine..." Her expression shifted, turning a little shy, "Perhaps when we get back, would you mind introducing me? I'm sure Korou would love to meet Sage as well," she patted the pokeball on her belt lovingly.
Hesitantly, she shifted her position so she could peek out over the edge of the basket. The flyer had made it look so fun, but now that she was up here, it was a little scary. But, like her father always said, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Edit: A dark flutter in Yusaki's peripheral vision startled her, and she swung around to identify the source. A Murkrow? Not to be superstitious or anything of that sort but... That certainly doesn't bode well...
Katori just glared at the captain on his dragonite who was flying behind the balloons, he was pleased to see that they weren't alone in the sky anyway. The view wasn't half bad now that the panic of the pidgey was over. He still kept a wary eye on the Pidgeotto and he wasn't best pleased that the flock was moving the same way as they were but the attack seemed to be over so he could ignore them and tend to himself, He took out some water from his pack and began washing some of his cuts and scratches.
He stopped and looked up as he heard an odd sound from the balloon "What was that?" he said out loud, mostly to himself but loud enough for others to hear him. A ripping noise did NOT bode well at all, he looked over the side at the ground way beneath them, "hope that don't rip no more" he said, clutching his pack to him and making sure Danae's pokeball was safe.
