I need a plan.Athene was no strategist and trading blows with his fake wasn't really the place for coming up with a plan on the hoof, but with Tsui trapped by his attack and Ida's hands full protecting his cousin he knew that he was going to have to deal with his grey scale double on his own for now. A double that was quite happy to play dirty in pursuit of its goal of trying to beat him to a pulp or even worse given that the copy of his cousin had been quite active in trying to kill her. And unlike his murderous double, Athene could feel himself starting to tire, two uses of his magic and fighting first his cousin's shade and then trying to fight off his own shade starting to take their toll. Given that this thing fights dirty, mayhaps I need to fight a little dirty myself he told himself as he barely managed to block a punch to the face and attempted to retaliate by kicking the thing. With his attention taken up by his double, Athene had none to spare for what was happening with Tsui and Ida, had missed the idea that the two had come up with in an attempt to both try and help him and keep his cousin safe, had also missed the fact that the beads keeping Tsui contained were one by one beginning to glow. Instead as his double lunged forward he was presented with a chance and swinging as hard as he could Athene planted a fist straight in the face of his grey scale twin and then followed it up with a hard shove sending the thing stumbling backwards. It was then that he heard the call of a familiar attack and Athene forced himself to dive to the side and out of the way of the incoming arrow, his double however was not so lucky, was unable to recover in time to avoid the arrow that struck it dead on. For a moment his grey scale twin screamed, a howl of pain, rage and frustration and then there was sudden silence and exploding beads, the glowing fragments fading away as their creator had leaving the three eternals and the unconscious civilian the only souls left in the street.

With the unconscious civilian at her feet, Tsui felt just a tad bit better about the situation she found herself in, and she was pleased to see that Ida was quick to take advantage of the situation by attacking their enemy. She had never seen Ida's Eternal attack in action and it was certainly a sight to behold! If there was ever any doubt in her mind that Ida had grown into a strong soldier prior to this moment, it shattered into dust at that very moment… Tsui held her breath in excitement for only a moment as Athene not only decked his double right in the face but dodged Ida's incoming attack, allowing the shade to take the hit. Tsui watched as the shade all but exploded in a howl and the beads shot out like mini, but useless shrapnel, signifying that the PSSG had once again emerged victorious. "Alright! We did it!" Tsui shouted, not at all caring if her shout alerted others to their presence or maybe woke Athene's cousin that laid at her feet. Had she glanced down she might have noticed that the beads that locked her in place had vanished along with its creator, but her attention was set fully on Athene and Ida. "You both okay over there?"

Ida sagged a little at the drain of energy from the arrow, though a smile stretched across her face. When Tsui called to her, she started and ducked to check on the girl, a hand to her face to make sure she was still unconscious and not hurt more than that. When she was sure she was okay, Ida glance up for Athene, glad he had reacted fast enough and with the sense to dodge her attack. If he'd been caught in the blast, it wouldn't have been fun for him, though it had most likely would have done more damage to his shade than to him.
"I'm okay." Ida said finally, smiling in relief. "I think this girl is too. We need to figure out what to do with her though, we can't leave her here and I'm not sure when she'll wake up." How long did someone ususally stay down after getting knocked out? She'd only really seen it on TV, and they exaggerated or fudged things sometimes. She could be out for hours or just minutes, but the problem was the same both ways.

The sense of feeling drained that suddenly came over him had come as something as a surprise and for a moment Athene was able to do little more than stare at the spot, where, until moments ago his grey scale double had stood. He finally turned however as first Tsui and then Ida spoke, walking over to the two in time to catch Ida's assessment that she thought that Saffy would be okay. "I'm okay" he managed his quiet voice tired, as he knelt down beside his cousin, his right hand reaching out to gently touch her shoulder. Under other circumstances he may have been amused at Ida thinking of Saffy as a girl given that his cousin was older than him, under other circumstances Saffy herself may even have been amused - but at the moment all he wanted to do was reassure himself that she really was alive - hurt but alive. Eventually he looked up at Ida and Tsui "I think she should go to a hospital, but I should probably handle it." His voice was very quiet as he admitted "Since she's my cousin." Tsui may have recalled him mentioning her once in conjunction with his wish to prevent her from getting caught up in the whole double life that he lived as a senshi. Athene had no idea of how badly Saffy's Shade double had hurt her, but the fact that his cousin was still unconscious worried him the worry carrying over to his voice as he continued "I'm going to have to ring my Aunt and Uncle and tell them about this anyway." Well an edited story that he had yet to think up, but would come up with something somehow. His eyes were solemn behind his glasses as he looked first at Tsui and Ida as he added simply "But thank you." If the two of them hadn't intervened when they had then things could have turned out so much worse.

Tsui couldn't have been happier with the end results of the fight, except maybe having a hand in the shade's demise, but she couldn't deny that this was still a solid victory for the PSSG and that was more than enough to please her for the moment. Ida and Athene were right to express concern over the unconscious girl, though, and that was enough to keep Tsui anchored to Earth as she looked over Athene's cousin. "Oh, so this is your cousin?" Tsui couldn't help but comment, looking back and forth between the two to try and see the similarities between the two before considering that it wasn't all that important or sometimes even possible. But she had certainly heard Athene mention her before and now it was no surprise that Athene was so protective of her. She waved off his gratitude, giving a snort before reaching down to help Athene pull Saffy up. "Don't mention it! It's what we're suppose to be doing anyway, right? Protecting Destiny City from the forces of evil and stuff! We'll help you get her to the hospital- wouldn't be right to leave the two of you unattended, especially after a battle like that." She looked to Ida, certain that she didn't really need to ask if she was willing to accompany them but wanting to be polite and ask nevertheless. "Right? The three of us need to stick together..."

For a bit, Ida was quiet, though she smiled as her team came back together. They were all okay... it was a good night. The discussion about the civilian woman though, made her thoughtful and after a moment, she spoke, rocking back on her heels.
"Maybe... maybe Tsui or I should call the police and wait here with her, while you go home and wait. It would be easier for you to maybe explain if you weren't the one that found her... if the hospital called you to come in for her. We could say we found her here and it wouldn't seem odd to be one of us." It seemed like a good idea to her, but... well, making up excuses for the fallout of powered life wasn't her best skill.
"I know you want to take care of her, but it seems really coincidental that you just happened upon her... and its a bigger lie if you try to say you saved her from a monster or something. Tsui and I can watch over her."

Ida had brought up points that Athene hadn't considered and much as he wanted to get his cousin to the hospital he knew that the Orchid senshi was right and that it would look awfully strange if as she said he was to tell them that he had just happened on her in this state - even though as it happened it was the truth, or at least part of it given that the part about stumbling into Saffy's psycho double trying to kill her would just complicate things even more. For a moment, Athene was silent himself but then finally he nodded "You're right Ida" he said. "Logically I even know you're right" his face was wan, "But explaining it to my heart..." he shook his head. "I trust you though - you and Tsui both." Even before helping him save his cousin they'd more than earned it. "So I'll.. I'll go home and wait for a call." Athene didn't want to though, hated the idea of sitting by the phone as Arian and waiting for it to ring, but it would give him time to think up what to tell Uncle Phillip and Aunty Rachel and he knew also that Saffy would be in safe hands - that Ida and Tsui would protect her. He shifted so that Tsui was the only one supporting his cousin and turned to look first at her and then at Ida his voice determined as he added "And if there's ever anything I can do to help either of you either like this or not, then I hope you'll let me know" and then turning he started loping off. Although he planned to power down when he was closer to the apartment that he shared with Saffy, Athene's speed would get him home faster than Arian's.

Tsui was open to either suggestion at this point, looking down at the unconscious girl and knowing that her safety and health were top priority right now. Ida brought up a good point, but so did Athene, and there were times Tsui wished that she could rack her brain to help come up with an easier solution, but her brain was fried after battles like this. At least she could count on the other two to come up with the whole thinking things through, so as they could count on her to give each fight her all. Even if she spent the later part of the fight being rendered completely and utterly useless… She tried not to think too much on it, though, and once again her attention was drawn to them when he seemed willing to go along with Ida's plan. She couldn't blame Athene for his reluctancy, but at the same time, what else could they do? Anything else would be suspicious. She was more than ready to support Saffy as he pulled away, and despite the size difference between them, Tsui managed to slip herself completely under the teen and pulled her into a make-shift fireman's cradle, and only once she was completely secure did she flash Athene a confident smile. "We'll call you the second we get to the hospital, alright? I'll leave all the talking and explanation stuff to Ida…" That just meant making the trek to the hospital, and Tsui was more than eager to get the show on the road. "Let's go… it can't be good for her to be unconscious for this long, right?"

When Athene agreed, Ida immediately powered down and pulled out her cell phone, letting her two friends talk as she dialed up 911. Turning back before hitting the call button, she reached to hug her powered friend, hoping he could feel the reassurance and warmth in the motion. She might not be a strong person, but she could be for these two people. She would be whatever they needed her to be, to the best of her abilities.
"I'll call you as soon as possible, I swear..." Orah said before Athene left, turning to put a hand on Tsui's arm before she carted off their unconscious friend.
"An ambulance would be safer than carrying her, I think. It might look weird... but we can put her down on a bench I think. Here, let me call."
The phone was soon ringing the police and Orah did her best to get through the explanation as to how they had found the woman and the request for an ambulance. It was just a matter of time, at that point, the slender teen pulling off her coat to lay over the woman to keep her warm until the sound of sirens wailing reached their ears.

It was a long night. There had been the waiting by the phone for the call to tell him what he already knew, then the trip to the hospital and by the time Uncle Phillip and Aunty Rachel had turned up, Arian was exhausted and running on far too many cups of dubious beverages from the hot drink dispenser, some of which may have even been coffee. And despite having fore-knowledge of the events that had put her in the hospital, seeing his cousin lying pale and wan in the hospital bed had still come as a shock despite the doctor's assurance that he thought she would make a full recovery and at least she was sleeping though, rather than the unconsciousness of earlier. It was a long time later when Arian finally made it back to the apartment, too tired despite the hot drinks of earlier, to get further than the sofa in the living room. At some point he would text, or perhaps even call Orah and Gwen, but for now his focus was Saffy and Uncle Phillip and Aunty Rachel - well at least it would be once he crawled awake after a bit of shuteye.
