Iris' call for assistance brought a mixed expression over Psyche's face. She looked to the clone, then to Iris and then to ********* in her arms. Quietly and quickly, Psyche scurried toward the side of the road and as carefully as she could she slid ********* under a nearby car. At least this way, if the clone escaped them, ********* would have some sort of protection! Also, if it rained no wet cat smell!
Turning her attention back to Iris, Psyche was more than willing to help out. She wasn't gentle with it either.

She was a cat under a car. It wasn't the first time this had happened, but usually it wasn't because the manx needed the car as armor from a crazy monochrome doppelganger.
She mewed out a bit, not even able to express herself in words at that moment.
The copy seemed to struggle, trying to get loose of the pigtail prison, but found no escape. Its movements seemed to grow more frantic as it seemed to sense its own demise. It hadn't completed the task it had been created for...
"...okay... Just punch it til it's gone or something..." Iris said as she still held the victim in place.

It didn't need to complete the task it was created for because Psyche was giving it a new purpose right now, and that was to be a punching bag. After that purpose, it's only destiny was to disappear from this world. The senshi of breath understood Iris' intent and that's exactly what she did, She put her fists together as if it was the most natural thing she'd ever done, and began to pummel the bound creature.

Unlike the creature that Iris had encountered earlier, this one seemed far more resilient. Perhaps it has something to do with the source of copying, or perhaps there was some other sort of mystery to the subject. Either way, the first strike caused a line of black fluid to drip from the false guardian's lip.
Iris continued to hold the copy tightly in place as her teammate continued to pummel the gray fake. It took several hits, but eventually the odd monochrome duplicate's body flickered like a bad television before it rather suddenly vanished.
Her hand now free of a faker's pigtail, the eternal senshi turned towards the car where Psyche had placed the real Mauvian.
"...this... is a problem..." she growled out to nobody in particular. Whatever had happened at that festival was screwing around with things in Destiny City.
Rather quickly, she shifted back to her usual form before approaching the place where ********* had been stowed away. She glanced back to Psyche, attempting to signal that she do the same.

Psyche hadn't known what to expect when she started pummeling on the clone so when it vanished from their sights, she took a step back with confusion. She glanced to Iris with a head tilt, gauging her reaction and using it define her own. From there, a grin of satisfaction spread across her face before she glanced toward where both ********* was resting and where Iris was walking. It wasn't ********* and Iris for long though, watching as Ellie signaled to her.
"Oh," she said in a small voice, her fuku disappearing to reveal a rainbow unicorn hoodie.
There she rushed over to ********* and Ellie.
"Heeeeeeeeebeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she dramatized, reaching for the injured cat.
All Annie wanted to do was take ********* home, and that's exactly what she did.
