I'm fairly interested in two of them, but I defnitely like the idea of all of the ones you listed. The two I like in particular are:
The Alice Games & Forever a Slave to the Moon.

I am no good at all with creating roleplays, but I certainly have been looking for some horror/science fiction roleplays. I was looking through other guild fantasy rps and they're just so climactic and terrible that the genre is just not that interesting to me anymore....If yall have any links to other rps or whatever please let me know!

Gateway To The Stars
Imagine, waking up one day, and going about your usual business. Then the earth trembles and the sky darkens, and your world begins to spin - literally. Not the 'I'm going to faint' type of spinning. Before a bright light flashes and blinds you, effectively making your vision fade away for a few seconds, the sound of fabric ripping sounds off so loudly in your ears it seems to envelope your mind. After a few moments of silence... your vision returns, the ground stills but... you're in a different place! Some how, you and the entire city around you has been transported into the Celestial realm, the realm of the Star beings - where astrological creatures exist peacefully. But why?
Something has upset the balance - and the celestial beings need your help to keep the stars from all burning out, and to set the balance on scale again so that you and everyone around you can return home - hopefully in one piece!
Hi there. New guy here but I figured I'd give my two cents on this topic. I was thinking something along the lines of a paranormal mystery set in a Victorian setting or, more accurately, a weird western/steampunk world. The basic premise would revolve around a small group or squad of detectives with specialties in various backgrounds (Arcane/Occult or Demonology/cryptozoology or archeology/folklore or Linguistics etc...) who have to pool together their skills to decipher a mystery based around a seemingly supernatural crime. I think it'd be a good mix or cooperative role playing, group dynamics come into play because of the specialized nature of the characters. Mysteries, fights against seemingly unkillable monsters, exploring amazing worlds, crazy steampunk technologies, etc...
Hi, I was wondering... Do we have to be a crew member or whatnot to be able to start an RP on here?
Nope not at all

Question: I was thinking about setting up a Science Fiction roleplay revolved around deep space alien civilizations and an intergalactic council they are involved in. It'd be political intrigue, forging alliances, Going to War etc... Before I start working on it, would anyone be interested in something like that? It'd be open for like 10-20 peoples.
Oh~ I would love to start an asylum-type role play biggrin Would anyone be interested?

(( As the RP progresses, bit by bit, I will add more information to the story, revealing more and more about the "Godstrom" that occured...
This is a Magic, Action type RP... where people WILL die... both magi and humans will die...))
Magic...In ancient times, there was no magic... or at the very least, no one knew they had magic in the first place. The power it possesses can not be used by normal bodies, there are simply no outlets for it. Thus, the fire laid dormant within, unused, unacknowledged.
But as with all things, that eventually changed....
(( Still Interested? Good, click away then ))
The story differs from teller to teller, some say it was discovered by someone to save their life. Some say it was discovered through enlightenment. Others say it was bestowed upon them by the gods themselves. But one things is certain, from such humble origins would soon grow the most powerful force in this world.
A tree. Plain bark, simple leaves, the fruit it bears is... frankly, disgusting, and some believe it is even poisonous. Because of that, no animal eats it, and its seed is fertilized not by manure, but by the rotting fruit that surrounds it. This led this tree to grow in densely packed groups. But this is not the only noteworthy thing about it.
It can channel magic, and is the only known thing to be completely immune to it.
Its wood could funnel the raw magic out of a mages body and into a tangible form. Its leaves could be engraved with powerful runes to be used at will, and its sap became the core of elementals, beings summoned to serve the mages.
When the first mages discovered this fact, they quickly cultivated the tree and used its unique trait to cultivate their power. These people eventually rose above non-mages, ruling over them. But those under their reign refused to become mere servants, and thus found settlements away from the mages.
For years all was well between the two nations, but soon the pride of the mages overwhelmed them. They were clearly superior, as such they have every right to subjugated their mundane brethren. But when they announced their claim, they were refused. Insulted, they suddenly waged war. Rather, they announced a massive purging.
The mages called it, the Storm, for the event was more akin to a force of nature than a marching army. Fires engulfed forests, floods drowned the lands, the earth cracked beneath their adversary's cities and the winds laughed at their impending demised. Soon, they neared the last remaining city, poised to topple its towers, the mages launched their spells, but were suddenly stopped.
In front of them, a resounding cry echoed through the wind as earthquakes divided their forces. Mountains began raining down from the heavens, while the wind beneath them swept them about like dolls. From nowhere, water crashed through their highest towers and lightning struck down those that would oppose such wrath. The elements devastated their armies, crushed their cities, burned down the majority of their beloved trees and scattered the survivors to far-flung islands.
It took a century to discover the means to use magic, a decade to realize its full potential, a month to wield its destructive nature, and a week to send it all falling down. To the mages it was a nightmare, but to their opponent's it was a force that defended them, that overwhelmed their Storm, a Godstorm.
Now, the remaining mages lay isolated within their isles while the land rebuilds. But one thing on everyone's mind was, what caused their downfall?

Well... The hard thing about it is... The RP that I thought of, requires 8 mages and several Humans ( elite humans; medieval aged Black Ops type of humans ) and 1 Surprise class ( That would played by Me )
and I'm still busy finalizing and setting it all up :l
but I may post it here instead of barton town... idk... maybe both?

Well given the number of members of this guild and the lack of available threads in this guild, you shouldn't have a hard time finding the members you need to fill out the spaces. But if you do end up making it in Barton Town, please shoot me a link. I've been itching to use my Mage character and I love Rp's with definite consequences.
