10 points to hufflepuff for sign ups
20 pts for slytherin for sign ups
@chi riverhowl for charms each lesson will have classwork
The way classes work
First 2 weeks is sign ups
If lesson is posted then students may begin at any time
Week 3 is lesson 1 you usually have homework and/or classwork and you normally get 1-2 weeks to finish both hw and cw
Week five begins lesson two you usually have homework and/or classwork and you normally get 1-2 weeks to finish both hw and cw
Week 7 begins lesson 3 you usually have homework and/or classwork and you normally get 1-2 weeks to finish both hw and cw
Then week 9 begins finals this can last anywhere from 3 days to 1 month depending on the class and the final thats why we do one term per season

(ooc lesson will be up in a few minutes even though the lesson doesnt need to be up for about a week)

Anything extra? - I am excited to be a first year here at Hogwarts. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, cooking and some Muggle hobbies (like playing video games). I'm quite into the historical figures in the school's history, especially the previous Transfiguration Professor and Headmaster Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. My favorite animals are the Phoenix (mythological) or the skunk (mundane).

any thing extra: I'm really excited to learn a lot here at Hogwarts since it's my first year. I'm really determined to do well in classes which is seemingly odd for a Slytherin. I really love reading and music and I did well in Muggle school prior to Hogwarts. (Also, I only come online 2-3 times a week)

Crystal hands in her homework and gets started on the classwork. She points her wand at a desk on the other side of the room. "Locomotor desk!"
The desk lifts from the ground and follows the movement of her wand.

Satisfied, she returns the desk to it's place and begins the next. "Lumos," she says.

Crystal almost whispers, "lumos."
At first it looks like it is going to do it, but then it fails looking even darker than before.

Having finished her homework Hailey laced her fingers and cracked them and then put her paper on James' desk. She walked over to the monkey in the cage and reluctantly walked over to practice her spells. "This just doesn't feel right practicing on a live animal..."
Hailey casts obliviate first.
She successfully casts the spell and the monkey gets a glazed look in their eyes and looks around in a confused manner. Hailey instructs the monkey to be good, to complete the process.

Giving the monkey a moment to recover and gain it's bearings again Hailey waits a minute before casting her next spell.
She aims her wand and casts silencio.
The spell casts almost successfully. The monkey is silenced to a point, but his voice comes out hoarse.

Chi turns in her homework, then finds a test dummy to practice spells on. She decides to practice the the enlargement spell. She points her wand at a cup.
"Engorgio!"
The cup grows larger in size. Satisfied, Chi looks through her textbook before moving onto the next spell.
