Cryshal looked intensely for footprints, she was so focused in looking for prints that she barely heard bits and pieces of what Shinji said. Cryshal looked up toward him, "Hmm? Oh yeah okay. Good luck finding footprints." She went a few feet to a few yards away from the spot she was previously in, but still in yelling distance if something happened. Cryshal looked but still found no signs of footprints. Although this was frustrating, she never gave up and even ventured out a few more feet in another direction. As soon as she walked a few feet, she looked down and saw what they were looking for, "Shinji! Come over here! I found something!" She burst with excitement that she finally found actual human footprints. Cryshal couldn't get to careless so she had to calm down a bit before Shinji showed up, one can never get caught up in emotion in a foreign area such as a wild forest.

Shinji would hear the girl and instantly break his focus. "hmm ill be there in a sec" he would hollor before movement in the forest would catch his eye. he would turn towards it gripping his katana only for his gaze to be meet by a small fox. he would quickly shoo it away before turning back around and finding that he was once again lost. his sense of direction was horrible but he knew that Crystal was close so it was no biggy. he would then make his way over to where he last herd her voice in hopes that she hadn't moved.
Cryshal kept following the path for a bit hoping that Shinji could still be able to find her. All of a sudden the footprints just vanished, as if there was nothing there in the first place. "What?! No!!! Please don't do this to us!!!" She then fell to her knees and pounded the ground a bit in frustration. She kept thinking, 'I wonder why this village is so hidden. I mean ninja villages are SUPPOSED to be hidden, but this one... This one takes the cake." Cryshal decided then that she would meet up with Shinji and take a bit of a rest. She got up, brushed her knees off and then went in the direction that she thought she would find him.

Shinji would make his way back to crystal only to find her beating the ground with her fist. it would appear finding this village would be a lot harder than they both would have liked. Eventually Shinji knew that they would find something. Shortly After meeting up with crystal Shinji would begin to feel his massive dehydration kicking in. one of the few down sides of being a member of the hozuki clan. he had gone too long without water and was beginning to dry out. his search for fot prints would quickly shift to one for water witch he desperately needed."....hey if you come across any water let me know..." he would speak trying not to show his pain suffering. His voice would sound slightly raspy as if he had a throat infection and he would become more noticeably pale by the second. "This is not good, if we don't find the village or a water source soon ill become useless and defenseless" He would think to himself while quickly shifting gears in his search for water and footprints. But it would appear he wouldn't have any luck.

Cryshal gathered herself and began to look for more footprints, she would occasionally look over at Shinji making sure his condition doesn't worsen. Every time she looked over, towards him he looked even more pale. "Shinji, sit down... I will be right back." After saying what she had to say, she looked around a bit while walking around looking for a water source. The health of her travel buddy was more important than finding the village at the moment. Suddenly she heard a faint sound of a waterfall, Cryshal ran over to the sound quickly. Finally, she found water for both her and more importantly Shinji. Cryshal felt around for something that could be used to carry water, but the only thing she could think of was using her shoes. "Would he understand? I mean, his health is important." She knew that she did not have much time to ponder her decision, for all she knows he could be dying of thirst right about now. It was decided that she would rinse her shoes out first and then carry some water in them. She dipped her shoes into the water and then got enough water for her first, then got another mouthful for Shinji. Cryshal then hurriedly made her way back to Shinji being very careful as to not spill the water onto the ground, for every drop counted. Once she got back, Cryshal handed Shinji her shoes filled with water. She then sat next to Shinji happy to help.

ooc: No die roll this round, for this is a relax time.
Shinji did not hesitate when it came to the water offered to him by crystas as he nearly attacked the shoe trying to get every last drop that it carried. "More i need more" He would say as he quickly came back to life. he had a sudden burst of energy that seemed to be his inner instinct coming out. he would rise to his feet and quickly make his way over to the water fall as if the water was calling out to him. he had no problems finding it at all. He would jump into the water and swim around for a bit before resurfacing splashing water everywhere. "AHHH!!! there we go" he would say while coming out of the water looking more alive than ever. he would then quickly refill the three empty bottles on his person and then make his way back to crystal. "...Tha...Thank you" he would mutter o so humbly why trying not to think about the factthat he just drunk out of her shoe. tho it was an emergency he wished she could have found something else. "I hate feet..." he would think to himself while trying to show his gratitude and hide his disgust.
Cryshal Smiled at the fact that Shinji looked much better, and as she smiled water started to pour out of her mouth. She had almost forgotten that she had a mouthful of water in case Shinji needed more. When we felt the water running down the sides of her mouth she swallowed the water without a second thought and wiped the rest that was dripping. "You are welcome Shinji, I couldn't let you die out here. I mean you are afterall, my teammate at the moment. Allow me to apologize for the fact that you drank from my shoes, but do know this I rinsed them out before filling them up again. I mean you have to do anything to survive right?" Cryshal giggled a bit after saying what she did. She was relieved that Shinji understood the situation, "I'm so glad that you are feeling a ton better. So shall we get back to looking for the village?" At this point she wasn't too worried about finding the village, but she still wanted to get there before they encounter an animal. She then looked down on the ground at where she was standing hoping to at least see something, then she started looking in all directions but to no avail, nothing was found. "Hey shinji... Do you think that we will ever find the village?" She was still looking down at the ground when she spoke trying to hide the frustration and disappointment.

Tho he didn't like it Shinji laughed right along with crystal as she giggled about her comment. at least she had the curtsy to clean her shoe out before filling it up with water. "Hopefully we will get out of here soon" he would say while noticing a small broken branch on the ground behind her. this path way was in the opposite direction of witch they came and had not been searched yet. Shinji would walk over and pay close attention with his inspection of the twig, it had a strand of fabric on it, up a head a few feet would be more broken twigs and a few faint footprints could be seen left in the forest floor. Shinji would grin as he followed his trail before calling crystal over to see where it would lead them hopefully this one would lead to the village.
Rin stifled a giggle as she watched the boy drink from a shoe. It was... amusing. Though it was also quite disturbing that someone who was so dependant on water would bother trying to become a ninja. The girl was... giddy, but at least capable of finding a waterfall. It was no wonder, with their tracking skills, that they hadnt found a proper trail yet. Eventually however, the boy found something. It was a more obvious trail than most, but they found it. It seems Rin thought that its time for some... fun.
Suddenly Rin's quiet tread became very heavy, as she stumbled through the forest. She was, very young, especially for a ninja of her ability, and she loved it. She had plenty of chance to observe a 'proper' child in action as well. "I hate this bamboo! I can't see a damn thing!" she shouted, as she moved towards the other two. They would probably hear her. as she got closer she 'tripped' over a collapsed bamboo shoot. "Auuugh!!!" she grabbed her knee and rolled onto her butt. "Why would you put that there!" she shouted again. tears rolled down her face, as she sat on the ground. "I'll never get out of here."
Cryshal Smiled at Shinji once more before walking beside of him along the trail that he had found. "I must say, congratulations on finding a trail. You know how hard it is to find a good lead." As cryshal spoke she heard a small scream in the short distance, but thought nothing of it at the time and kept on walking. Cryshal whispered to Shinji, "be on your guard, I think we're being followed." Then she had heard it again, but this time closer. Cryshal had stopped walking and took hold of a kunai and shouted in the direction of the noise, "ALRIGHT! SHOW YOURSELF!" She took up a defensive position by Shinji, like he really needed someone to "protect" him. During this time awaiting a response, Cryshal thought, "Friend? Foe? Someone from the village? Whoever it may be, I must keep my guard." Cryshal started to grip the kunai tighter, but loosened her grip. It would be bad if she let her nerves get a hold of her before a fight. If there was one going to happen.

Shinji was finally glad to find a trail that would more than likely lead to the village. he was fully resupplied with water, witch gave him a slight edge and was feeling great. The two would be following the path to the village when the sound of screaming filled his ears to the rim. He would once again cut his eyes and crouch down gripping his dripping wet katana. everything on his person was still soaked from him jumping into the pool of water under the water fall. he would grin at Cryshal's comment before replying with. "Don't worry im sure who ever it is wouldn't be able to take the both of us especially with me like this." he spoke with a sinister grin upon his face while back to back with the girl scanning the forest for the new comer. it dident take long for him to spot the girl sitting on the ground crying a few yards away. he would also notice Cryshals who had a hesitant look on her face. he would place his free hand on her shoulder hoping to help calm her down while the two awaited for the newcomer to state there business. tho she looked harmless this forest was full of wandering shinobi and one could never be to careful.

Rin stood, wiping tears from her face, but didnt approach the two. They would both be able to see her easily now, and they were armed. It was clear, that Rin was without so much as a knife on her person. "a-are you going to kill me?" she said meekly. She stepped back, stumbling on her 'hurt' leg, but kept her eyes on the other two. Her face showed nothing but fear, but Rin knew the two were no threat. Not at this distance, not as inexperienced as they clearly were. The girl was very easy to worry, it seemed. The boy was almost as nervous, though he seemed more confident now that he had water. Rin took another, nervous step back. "I j-just need food, please, i'm sorry!"
Rin hadn't even brought her backpack, as she wasnt truly far from any supplies, but it would appear that she was lost. Her 'accident' had done well get her dirty and tear her clothes, which also helped. Most would assume she was truly helpless and lost, those who would guess otherwise were completely insane anyways, or had already met her.
Cryshal looked at Shinji almost like he was fully crazy. She knew what she was getting into the moment that he reacted to the water. Cryshal then diverted her attention to the small girl in front of them, seemingly scared and unarmed. She listened to Rin as she spoke with stutters. Cryshal then slowly walked toward Rin putting her Kunai back in its holster. As she was putting the kunai back, Cryshal was signaling for Shinji to keep guard as well as watch for anything suspicious. She knelt down in front of Rin carefully. "Food is what you are after? Well I have some here in my pocket, I've been out here for a while looking for the village that I've heard was around here." Cryshal then reaches in her pocket and takes out a bit of food and puts her hand down for Rin to take the food. She then noticed that her leg was injured. "Are you alright? Is your leg hurt from the fall that you took?" The answer was obvious, she just wanted to see what the girl would say. "If needed, I can carry you on my back." Cryshal smiled a bit as she offered her kindness.

Shinji would hear the girl crying and felt no sympathy at all. he would only become annoyed at the fact that such a small child was even out here in the forest. the way she acted she did not seem to be a shinobi so he was betting that she was a civilian from the village. Shinji would squint his eyes and nod his head receiving the signal to stay on guard from Cryshal. he would not let go of his katana but would loosen his muscles alowing himself to appeare less tense. watching while Cryshal gave the girl food he would decide to go ahead and ask to see if his assumption was true. "Oi....little girl... Would you by any chance be from the village around here? sorry i dont know your name by the way but,... that would be useful to us as well." he would try to sound friendly but the fact that someone who would appear to be so weak was alone in a forest like this was annoying him so much that he had a slight attitude.
Rin cautiously approached the girl, nodding. “Please, I haven't eaten for hours.” her voice noticably calmed, though she let a hint of nervousness linger. She grabbed the food slowly and stared at it for a moment before biting into it. When Cryshal asked about Rin's leg, she smiled inwardly. “it just.. hurts. I think I bruised it. I can walk.” she took another bite, slowly, as if it might be poisoned. Rin was reasonably sure these two would not bother harming someone who wasnt a threat, from the way they interacted they had at least some compassion, the girl especially. When the boy spoke, she responded once more. “uh, I'm Rin... Yea I live in the village, but... I sorta got lost.”
It was enough, at least, to ensure they brought her with without relying on her guidance. She would be able to give them hints along the way, or tell them when they get close, but they wouldnt expect her to lead them. It was a perfect setup. Shortly after the meeting ended Rin had decided to look in on some of the new villagers wandering in, to see what they had to work with. Observation was handy, but these two had interested a part of her, and she felt the need to get a better view so to speak. Plus, she really was hungry as she hadnt eaten yet. Rin made sure to keep a small distance between her and the other two while she waited for them to make a move, she didnt want them to think she was too trusting.
