"A magic fashion consultant. Seems very convienent. Too bad some of that magic can't fix my hair." He reached behind him feeling the singed ends, almost all to the nape of his neck.. It had been so long, so lovely before and now.. It was gone. Just like that. Ah, well, atleast he was safe.
"If the war's so old, why are you still fighting? What exactly are you fighting for? And how do you even become a 'soldier' in this warm? Just kinda wake up one day and feel like becoming magical? That was a joke, don't take that part seriously." Smiling at the girl, he rose to his feet, pocketing the rag he was holding without thinking about it.
"I'm not bothering you with too many questions, am I?"

“ Well, at least the clothes are magically self-mending and self-cleaning. Hate to imagine the dry cleaning otherwise. I am sorry about the hair though.”
From the glimpses she’d gotten of him before psycho had set his hair on fire a la Michael Jackson, his hair had seemed to be very nice and long. Granted, hair grew back, but it would probably take a while to reach its former length.
“ Everyone fights for different reasons. Me, I try to protect civilians as much as possible, and the allies that I’ve befriended. When necessary, I try to protect the planet too. There’s other reasons, but those are the main ones, and the easiest to explain.”
Pomona grinned and shook her head. “ No, it’s no bother. I like to think that what I lack in a**-kicking ability I make up for in information hoarding. And as for joining this nonsense? Let’s just say that if an animal ever starts talking to you, really think about it before you talk back.”

"Even if clothes are self mending very quickly, let's not forgot that you are still only human as well. And humans don't heal as quickly as a torn skirt can." Them man continued to gaze about their area, looking to see if there were any cameras that may have spotted them. It had been such a long day, and in all honesty, He just wanted to go home, to wash and cut his hair, and make sure there was no permanent damage done to him, and sleep.. Yet there were still just a few more questions he had left to ask.
"I think if I saw a talking animal, I'm probably more likely to kick it away. Out of being startled, you know, but if one approaches me.. It will all be up to the moment. Whether I'm in a good mood, bad mood, or in danger, like tonight. Speaking of tonight, it's rather late, so before You go, I'd like to ask one last question.. Okay, there are two questions, really. One, if i wanted to contact you again.. Say just to talk more, or if I suddenly become magical and want to fight with you, or maybe have you take me through the ropes, how can I do that? And second.. Do you think the war will end soon?"

“ You can reach me, but sadly I’m fresh out of Bat Signals. We’ll have to do it the old-fashioned, secret agent way. I check City Park regularly, since there’s always something going on there. Take something red-” Pomona laid out a way for him to leave a signal for her to make herself available. “ – and I’ll know to meet you here by the pond the second midnight from then. But for the love of everything, don’t go into the park after sunset; that’s asking for trouble.”
Giving an email address would’ve been simpler, but even Pomona knew that would be a bad idea, nice as Ulane seemed.
“ Honestly? I don’t think it will. Not without a drastic change.”
She offered him a smile as she stood and dried her hands on her raggedy skirt. “ Yes, I’ve got rounds to finish, and now I need to look into this copycat business. I’ll keep an eye out for your signal, just in case.”
She turned to leave, then paused and added, “ I’m Pomona, by the way. Sailor Pomona.”

".. Well, maybe there needs to be a drastic change. Maybe someone needs to be the initiator. Honestly, I think that the civilian people should get involved as well. After all, we aren't as powerless as everyone thinks." Rounds? Oh, that sounds just like what his RA's used to say when he lived in the dorms. And Rounds meant checking if everything was alright.
