Years fly by but time can no longer touch me, I stand as guardian and guide to those who are mortal.

Celiana removed her long heavy coat as she entered the building, shedding the coat and it's layer of water from the rain outside, "Is this the Azure Rain?" She asked her voice soft as she glanced about finally catching sight of a man behind the bar who nodded. With a graceful smile Celiana draped the jacket with it's outer siding facing inward to keep the water from wetting her arm, "This place was recommended to me... and I was told to ask for the 'Bartender's Special'?" She asked with a shy smile. It had been too long since she had gone out to enjoy herself and with Jocelyn still tucked safely away in their storyline she didn't need to worry for now, a delightful reprieve.

Celiana accepted the small glass of amber liquid with a sphere of ice in the center, sipping it gingerly she found the warmth flowed into her quite delightfully and savored each sip of the strong, but very smooth liquor. She had gone drinking before she was a mother, and even when her children were long grown, she was a sorceress in her prime of life, though that prime seemed unending she still didn't shy away from enjoying herself on occasion.

If I stand as close to the gods as mortals may tread, why is it that their cold indifference seems so far away?

Celiana smiled warmly and tapped the bar with a bemused expression since the bartender had told her that was his usual indication that a patron wanted another 'Barkeeper's Special' and a night of those was enough for entry into the contest. Celiana had no real desire to win but there was no harm in competing, she mused to herself as she waited for her second drink.

A small juice glass filled with clear liquid came down the bar and for a second and Celiana sipped carefully, she blinked quickly as he nose burned and her eyes watered. The strength of what he had given her was somewhat staggering, and it reminded her how very long it had been since she had gone drinking as an enjoyable pastime, and her tolerance had correspondingly lessened.

Celiana accepted the second glass of hard liquor and knew she had hit her limits, and smiled at the bartender as she set the glass back, settling a handful of gold coins beside it to pay for the drinks, "Thank you. It was every bit as enjoyable as I was told... I will be back again." She gathered back up her coat and wrapped it back around her to head back out into the rain of the realm she had come from, leaving behind all memory of this place and returning to her story until she decided to return again.
