After another moment of agonizing, Raven threw more junk into the box that was on the floor, then closed it. She hesitated for a long moment, deciding something. Finally she opened the drawer where she had hidden Jett’s henshin pen and was rather pleased to see that it was at least put back. Well.
Well.
She emptied the drawer, placing the pen in the very bottom of her box. Finally she just stood up, picking up the box and walking into the kitchen. “I can’t…pack right now. I have a box.”
She sounded lost and rather confused. “I’m going for a drive…I’ll be back.”
Though, it wasn’t clear if she was coming back to come back, or coming back to finish packing. She wasn’t sure. But she had enough clothes and things to last a few days at least…so maybe she would come back. Maybe.
Raven shook her head. “Thank you for breakfast…” Even though she still wanted to vomit…
“See you.”

Jett turned the steaming water off, dried his hands on a towel, and then looked up.
Words. What were words? Good words. He needed good words, now.
'Okay'.
Okay? That wasn't a good word. Stupid as ********, useless—didn't do s**t word.
"Yeah," he said instead. Oh, wow, great. Great words, Jett. Great mastery of the English language, really helping you out right now. Good job.
"…Call me," he said. He was used to her calls; he wasn't sure what he'd do without her. "I mean. I figure we should still talk. Not like you don't have a key to the place or anything, but. Let me know. Take…whatever time, you know. But call me sometime."
Soon. Very soon. After this all sank in. Or maybe it would be like last time? Just a few days, and then she'd be back.
Rejuvenated? Clear minded? Something?
Coffee.
Jett reached for the coffee and took another scalding sip so he looked busy.
He was not good with words when he had emotions to deal with.
He was not good with anything when he had emotions to deal with.

Raven nodded, swallowing again.
I need you Jett. I need you. Please stop me. Stop me and hug me and hold me and apologize…
She forced another grimace smile and turned around. “I’ll call…See you later…”
Walking to the door she opened it carefully, slipping outside. She took one last glance back at him and once more attempted a smile. A real one. But she was sure it failed again.
“Bye…”
I need you.
The door closed behind her with a soft but resonating click.
