This time, when the dragon she had been pursuing attacked, Eanah was not so lucky. The Diabi swooped low just as Thren silently announced he was taking to the the sky once more, and the Oblivionite turned to keep an eye on her drakein as the dragon struck. At first, the attack felt like nothing more than a rough shoulder check, but soon pain forked across the upper left side of her back, and the act of moving her arm grew stiff and painful. She stormed after the retreating dragon, not caring whether she made herself a larger target, as long as she got her revenge. Eanah flung bolt after bolt of dark magic at her attacker, relentlessly striking its wings, body and limbs.

Finally, after landing a crushing blow to its skull, the Diabi abruptly ceased its frustrated shrieking and fell carelessly to the ground, carving a deep gouge in the dirt as it slid to a stop. Eanah was quick to follow, stowing her scepter and drawing a long knife out of her cloak. She brandished it at the dragon as she circled it, ignoring the pain in her arm and back as she inched within snapping range of its vicious jaws. The dragon was clearly dazed, blinking erratically as it tried to focus. Eanah didn't flinch as it puffed a threatening bit of smoke at her.

"You know you are dead already," she purred, raising her knife and leaning closer. "Let me assist you with that." She plunged the blade into the Diabi's eye, twisting it as the creature bellowed one last time. Before it began to disintegrate into bones and orbs, the mage was gone, sending more spells at one of the remaining dragons. She hurried back to where she had been as quickly as her short legs could take her, the fighting finally taking its toll.

Perhaps he should of been annoyed at the fact that he was being assisted by a humanoid, but at the moment he would take what assistance was given as the sharpened leaves provided enough of a distraction (although a few stray ones did manage to hit him) that allowed him to push his opponent off of him, turning suddenly using his tail like a mace to smash it into the dragon's throat. Causing the creature to sputter and gasp for breath as he managed to break a few things.

Taking this moment to finish off his first diabi dragon as it struggled to get up. Moving quickly his jaws latched onto the soft exposed spot on the throat and held on. Using the leverage to force the dragon onto the ground, when its body collided it felt like the very earth shoo. Granted it was only in the immediate area the drakein was in but that didn't bother him as he only held on long enough to be guaranteed that this dragon wouldn't be getting up any time soon. Forced to release his quarry too quickly as the dragon he had smashed into earlier was a ball of snarling teeth and claws he was forced to jump backwards slightly, opening his maw as claws came at him he got ready to breath another blast of fire in this ones face.

The leaves had cut through, not only the vines, but the dragon as well. It let out a bellowing screech as yet another dragon swooped down to aid his fellow brother. The two dragons, one obviously wounded badly from the deep cuts and the other aiding in helping him up quickly, both began to fire off dark flames full of, what looked to be, dark shots of electricity, towards the Dovaa.

She twirled around, encasing herself in vines, allowing them to take the brunt of the attack; but soon, the vines couldn't withstand the power and withered away to allow her open to some mild burns. She quickly called upon the aid of two more vines and was able to slap both dragons simultaneously with them. The stronger of the two just bit the vine, ripping it from the ground, while the weakened Diabi fell to the ground after a few whips, faint.

Kavanna kept her focus on the strong one and quickly blew into her hand, magically forming a ball of poison within it. She held onto this magical orb for dear life until the right moment. She stood her ground, allowing the dragon to quickly charge at her. She narrowed her eyes and leapt into the air just as the dragon was approaching. With a quick flap of her wings, she was able to get herself slightly higher, enough to throw the ball into the face of the enormous foe; causing it to burst upon impact.

With a roaring shout and stinging eyes, the dragon took a swing at the Dovaa. The immense force of the claw hitting her arm caused her to yelp out in pain as she was forced to the ground, leaving a skid mark along the dirt as she hit it. She quickly tried to gather her composure, yet was quite shocked from the powerful hit. The dragon was roaring in pain as the poison inflicted immense discomfort within his eyes, scratching at them and rubbing his face in the ground. It was her chance to do something. To heal for the moment and then strike, while he was distracted.

She tried to stand, but her legs were shaky and weak from the terrible landing that she couldn't. So, she decided to start a small healing ritual right there, using the plant energy around her to heal herself as quickly as she could. The process seemed slow, but luckily one dragon was unconscious across the way and the other was distracted by his infected eyes.

Kavanna hadn't even had the time to check out her allies in all of this, but only hoped they were doing better than she was.

Sensing her unvoiced distress, Thren made his way to Eanah's side, offering her a shoulder to lean on. The drakein had received nothing more serious than a minor cut to his temple, but the Oblivionite paused to examine it anyway, before turning her attention back to the fight. Luckily, the Diabis were otherwise occupied or her distraction might have resulted in further injury.

Her temporary allies were making fairly swift work of their targeted dragons, so Eanah turned to the second of the pair she had been fighting. She pointed her scepter in its direction while Thren took to the air again, flashing his pale wings at the creature. As it turned away from her, Eanah sent a jet of flame at the Diabi. Her power split into two branches, one scorching the dragon's head and the other its clawed hands. It shrieked and dropped, and Thren dove after it, sinking sharp talons into the dragon's wings. As the Diabi fell, it turned in the air, grabbing Thren as if determined to take him down with it. Eanah shouted in anger, blasting the dragon's back until it let her bonded go mere feet from the ground. Thren flapped away from his captor quickly enough, but when he landed, it was clear he remained a little dazed. It didn't take Eanah long to make her way back to his side, any apprehension over the presence of the other living dragons pushed to the back of her mind.

Once Thren had assured her he was all right, she looked to the skies again. Surely their fight would be over soon.
