Feral Storm and his new Furby companion had started down the path as they searched for the culprit. As they continued further, a wall of thick red vines came into view. Storm could see no other way to get past it, so he began pulling at the thicket with his teeth, trying to force an opening. He managed to loosen some of the vines from each other. While it didn't help much, he did happen to find a crocodile's tooth among the fall pieces. Clearly it had something to do with the creature's death. Having some trouble breaking up the vines, Feral Storm decided to try pulling up the roots, but nothing worked. Even the little Furby tried. Taking a moment, Storm noticed a the pitch black feather of a songbird on the ground. As he bites and pulls, Feral Storm breaks off some more of the vines. Afterwards, he looks down to see the little furby with a half-eaten mushroom at its feet. Too much was missing for it to be the furby's doing. Feral Storm has been slowly but surely making progress, but it needs to go faster. When he breaks apart more of it, he finds a broken Kimeti horn. At first, he thought it was his, but then he realized, someone else had come through here. Enough of it had finally broken off to get through. He first let the furby through before pushing past the little that was left. As Feral Storm and the furby continued on, they passed through a somewhat shallow and murky river. About half way across, Storm feels a sharp pain bite into his tail. Turning around, He sees a strange monster facing him. It runs at him to take another bite, but Feral Storm lands a swift bite of his own and waits for the monster to go limp.
