Best to go on believing that he was the bad guy... it'd make life less complicated that way, at least that's what Buddingtonite would hope. He couldn't lie that he did feel a little better to know that Serpentine had his back, and it might have been a small boost, but it was enough to get Buddingtonite standing again. He brushed some of the grass and dirt from his pants, more and more vigor strengthening his own voice once more as he moved into position. "You sound so sure, but... when are you ever wrong? Very well, we'll stick together through this if you think you can continue to put up with my nerve-wrecking, annoying existence. I will endeavor to get angry, though you play that part much better than I ever could."
He liked Serpentine's plan. Simplistic. Straight to the point. Maybe there was some hope after all? He truly doubted it, but it was enough to pull his attention away from Bischofite and whatever threat he may or may not have posed to Baldwin and focus on the task at hand. "And I take the left. Ri... I mean, correct. Very well, let's do this... I'm getting a little hungry for a banana split myself actually."
Quicksilver the Archangel
Sounds good to me!
