Tallulah's tail swished for a moment as the female Drakein called out, asking who wanted the last one left. He turned to glance toward it, debating for a moment if he should take it, when the other male spoke up and told her that she should. Be blinked a couple times then nodded his head, giving a smile, "Yes, you can take the last one." Best not to take a kill after it had already been offered to another after all. He didn't so much mind allowing the female to kill off the last one, especially seeing that he had merely stumbled across this battle. It wasn't a fight that he was out looking for, just one he'd chanced upon. The mere fact that he might get a few orbs out of it was a lucky break that would allow him to take yet one more step toward his ultimate goal, that being to become a Merkeinian. Turning to glance over at male Drakein who really sounded as though he had a silver tongue, and gave him a bit of a smile as he came to stand alongside him. It would appear as though the two of them were to be an audience for the female, not something he minded since it would allow him to learn that much more when it came to battling. There were more warriors out there after all then just his teacher, which meant more that he could study and learn from, wanting to become stronger. His tail swished from side to side, eager to see the female fight, when the other spoke up again, drawing his attention more fully, "Hm? Oh, yes. I can only hope one day to get as many of them as are needed to take the next, great step." He said to his fellow hunter. His collection was coming along nicely and he felt that with a little more time and a little more training that he would be well on his way to becoming Merkeinian! Something he was eager to do, wanting to show off such a power to Eyphah above all others. Giving a smile at the mention of his teacher he nodded, "I do hope so, he is still leagues ahead of me when it comes to such things. In fact he recently packed up all his orbs in his cauldron and headed out to meet with one that is going to aid him in the final step. I am so envious of him." He murmured, wishing that he was ready, but he knew better then to rush. Rushing would only lead to mistakes, not something that he wanted. Slow and steady was likely the better approach.

jayoku added in ore wordings so I have a greater word count. Grrel grinned at the others as they gave the last one to her. "Well, how nice of you," she purred as she gathered her magic and lashed out with a whip of lightning that snarled and rumbled as it crackled out and slashed the last dragon. She charged in after the flashing whip of lightning to grab a hold of the roaring dragon's neck, biting down and tasting the hot blood that spilled from the cracked scales. Her magic here was mostly to blind and stun the dragons since they were so resistant to its charge, but she knew it had some sting since they kept flinching. Maybe they’re just resistant… like I am, but not immune. I hope so, it’d be nice to just kill them from afar quickly. Tooth to tooth has a lot of risks… She shook and thrashed her head about until she felt the neck snap as the dragon gurgled its last breath and began to dissolve into dust. It’s body gave one last twitch as she released it and grinned proudly at the sheer amount of death that’d gone down in this fight. Gathering up all the orbs near her, she rolled them over to the others to divvy them out. "Who's this teacher?" Grrel asked curiously as she offered some of the orbs to the others. " And what exactly are you? I've never seen a Khehora with out wings... No offense intended of course. I'm just curious." She flashed him a grin before she began to clean off the blood from her maw and claws. "I'm Grrel and thank you for the help."words: 1046/1500

Dapyhir rolled his shoulders he gave the little one another look, the next 'great step' was something he too was looking forward to and thus why he was gathering so many orbs as well. Though why he was 'sharing' with these two seemed a bit detrimental to his goals. But he had plans...and you won more followers by using sweet words rather than violence. Turning his attention as Grrel went to finish off the last dragon, the sound of bone snapping, the gurgling death throws. Ah sweet music to his ears. He could grow to like Kehora like Grrel, too bad he had other agenda's. As the dragon was downed and its body crumbling away to dust the orbs gathered together to joins the rest of the pile. His clawed hand came out to pick one of the orbs up and inspected it. They were so pretty the souls of dragons. He wondered just why it was they needed to collect them to achieve their next great 'step' as Tallulah had mentioned. At Grrel's question he looked to the strange looking Kerhora. It was odd to see one with no wings, it would the first time he seen one like him as well. "You both fought well and look at our rewards, this is a glorious day for battle." He commented as he replaced the bauble back into the pile. Watching Grrell as she cleaned herself off, the red though was a nice contrast to her hide, though he didn't mention that fact aloud. "I am D, and it was a pleasure to fight alongside two such interesting Kehora's such as you two." Word count: 1102/1500

Tallulah watched as the female set about finishing off the last of the Kiandri, giving a smile as she did so. She was quite tough, wasn't she? Thinking back on it he was pretty sure that she was first female that he'd ever fought alongside and she impressed him greatly with her skills. Of course it wasn't as though he thought females weak, he merely had to look to his mother and members of his sea faring clan and he could find a lot of strength amongst the females there too. Still, he was allowed to be impressed he thought to himself. As the orbs were split up amongst them, something that had Tallulah's tail wagging in delight, he said, "Many thanks! These will be a wonderful addition to my collection!" He chirped, tapping a claw against each of the glittering Kiandri orbs. They were such a lovely color, they would look nice amongst the rainbow of other orbs that he'd collected thus far. Turning to look over at the female as she spoke he gave a happy smile, tail swishing that much more quickly, "My teacher is a powerful Diabi named Eyphah, he lives in this area. He saved me a while back then offered to train me... I was kinda... weak when he first found me. I'd just come out of the ocean after all." He explained. At her next questions he felt he should elaborate, "No offense taken, I know I am quite the sight compared to the others that I have met. I am actually Merkora, from the Peisio clan in fact, and until recent days I have lived in the ocean." In relative terms he'd only been out of the ocean for a little while but he was glad to be out and about, learning what he could on the surface and getting stronger for it. Not to mention all those he was meeting while he was here, "It's good to meet you Grrel, I am Tallulah." His excitement was only fed by the one who called himself 'D' as he spoke of today being a 'glorious day for battle'. It really did seem to make the battle seem that much more amazing when he described it in such terms. He set to gathering his cut of the orbs into a pile, picking them up with his tail fin, then said, "I really should be going though. I was on my way to water. If I stay out too long I get all dry and itchy. Let's fight together again soon, though!" He was all for more battles with either of these two were they to be so lucky as to cross paths again.

words: 1272/1500 Grrel finished cleaning and grinned at the others. “It was a nice battle! And I thank you for your help once more. I probably should have looked around and spotted the others before attacking the one.” She shifted in embarrassment. “Guess I just wanted to gather up orbs and fight. Next time I’ll scout the area first though. “She blinked. Lived under the sea? That was interesting! “ Never knew there were Khehora in the ocean! The desert must be a big change compared to that!” She tried to recall if she’d heard of a Eyphah or Diabi in the area. “ Hmm, I do not know of your teacher, but then I’ve been a bit absorbed with keeping my can safe and driving off the thieves who keep attacking. But I’ll ask around. I’m certain my clan’s shaman must know of him.” Grrel was certain that Toki knew everyone... even if he didn’t. Old man that he was, certainly he’d met most of those who lived near by, right? She waved a wing in goodbye as Tallulah said his good bye. “It was nice meeting you! Maybe I can run into you again some day.” She said with a smile. “You’ll have to tell me about the ocean if we do meet again!” She turned to D, “Just D? Or is that a nickname of yours?”
