"I'm glad you guys figured it out." She stepped back, surprised that she let the glaive get so close. "I had a chat with him on the field while we were fighting the titans but..." She shrugged. "Then I shot him in a cannon."
Ah ruined feelings.
"Or maybe the feelings came after the Cannon...." She sighed again. "Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'll just continue to harass him." Her smiled turned bright again.
"He's one of my favorites to annoy after all. The other is Otto." Grumpy people were fun to tease.
"So....Did you guys have a crazy intense make up Make out?" What they were girls. It was girl talk.
Also she might of barely hit Sherry cause talking....

Sherry smiled. "I'm glad, too," she said. Then she quirked an eyebrow. Ah. So they had talked on the battlefield. If Jake hated her, Sherry highly doubted he would have hung around for a chat. She almost said as much, but Nevada continued. Sherry laughed. She could see the merriment in harassing grumps. The laugh turned into a sputter, and Sherry probably blushed. "Well, uh, not immediately after. But...we have." Sherry wasn't used to having girl talk. Her gaze shifted toward the spectators, then back to Nevada before she gave an almost half-hearted swing of her glaive. To keep up appearances...and it was a match, of course. HP: 24/50 Damage: 7

"Oh?" Nevada gave Sherry a winged eyebrow before waiting....
and waiting...
and getting hit by weapon but still waiting....
"Well geez Sherry, don't spare any details. Some of us girls don't have boyfriends to make out with." She waved her hand. Battle or not, her hand cocked on her hip.

Sherry sputtered again. Jake was standing right over there. She could see him. That and the fact that she'd not had girl talk about kissing boys in forever, well. "There's not a lot to talk about." She hoped she wasn't blushing so hard he could tell, and she held her weapon to the side as she stepped in a little closer to Nevada. She didn't want Jake to hear any of this, ok. "Mostly just kisses and cuddles. There was a spontaneous date thing for his birthday. Nothing major but we went out to cuddle under the stars while the skies are still somewhat clear." Sherry smiled. It was a good memory. "He's actually really sweet. All warm cuddles and stuff. I've stayed the night a few times." Sherry paused and then flustered. "Not that we've slept together slept together. It's just...he's really warm and I like it." She worried she might have said too much. She cleared her throat. "I'm going to swing at you now." And she did. Battle. Appearances. Flusters to cover. Luckily for the two girls, Jake was busy rubbing his eyes due to all the rainwater, because like a smart person, he had been starting at the sky for some time (mostly wondering how long he'd have to wait before he could leave).
Also girl talk. He wasn't interested in girl talk.

Chel elbowed Jake. "What a charmer," she teased him. "Think I could bank in on those 'warm cuddles'." She threw a few air quotes in for effect.

Had it started to rain? Nevada hadn't noticed until she saw the slice from Sherry's weapon across the raindrops. That and the sudden feeling that it was getting wet through her coat.
"Jesus Sherry." She huffed at the hit....
But then smiled because, /Waggle eyebrows here/...
"So you've even slept over, my my Sherry you Vixen." She waved her hand again, chuckling loudly.
"Oh my Jake...." She sighed, cupping her chin in her hand. Almost hugging Leroy to her, "it's funny to hear the grumpy ones are usually the sweetest...." She grinned.
Then shot at Sherry cause battle appearances.
"Ah I'm a little jealous Sherry..........."

Sherry cringed a little. "Sorry." She'd not meant to hit quite that hard. Timed battle, yes, but still. It was Nevada and chat time. Then she blushed a little harder. Vixen? Oh, heavens no- Armagnac did not sound amused. But Sherry was grinning. "It is. It's-" the gunfire cut her off, and she hopped back and to the side a bit. Her hair was getting damp and she noticed it trying to stick to her face. The blunt end of her weapon came back in towards Nevada, low but quick. "Jealous? How goes your love life these days, Nevada dear?" Subject change, yes. HP: 17/50 Damage: 6

And then he turned his attention to the two girls fighting.
"SHERRY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TELLING NEVADA?!"

"Non existent my friend. Non existent." She sighed sadly again. "It's okay, I'll just watch all my good friends fall in love with Handsome boys and Gorgeous girls." She made a kiss face at Sherry and then laughed loudly at Jake.
"She's telling me about how you snore like a bear hibernating at night Jake." She teased.
More bullets sprayed, but her finger was getting slick on the gun and the rain was starting to become a hindrance.

Sherry's "Aww, surely not," of reply was cut short by another fluster mixed with a laugh. That kissy face. And then she nearly dropped her weapon and turned to yell at Jake. "I'm just telling her about--" Sherry shut her mouth and didn't finish that sentence. And Nevada was kind enough to give her an excuse to not answer. "I suppose we should," Sherry agreed, taking a deep breath. She took another swing at Nevada. "We shall have to chat more after, though." HP: 13/50 Damage: 5

Slipping on the wet cement threw her aim off, and instead of hitting the girl straight on, it sort of shot upwards in a arc.

The shots might not have been straight on, but Sherry still flinched, and her swing with Armagnac might have been a little wilder than intended. And the rain meant she was muddy again. Darn storms. HP: 9/50 Damage: 6

He didn't believe you Nevada. And while he smirked at Sherry's win, he wasn't forgiving you that easily either.
