Candace grinned even as someone came to cheer on Melvin, telling him to kick Molly's a**. She totally had this. "That's my girl! You've got this!"

Even soaked and dirty, and not exactly bright and starry eyed at sloshing around in a mud pit, Molly was still incredibly flustered and humbled by praise, that combined with Miss Candace's encouragement really made it as well. Molly blushed at Melvin's words, one hand cupping her cheek while the other cradled her weapon to her side briefly. "O-oh wow...thank you so much!" She cried, and then swung her weapon just enough to finish the fight without over doing it.

After, Molly pulled her weapon back, and held it up against her side. "You're really good too--" She then blanked, and then looked horrified. She'd been fighting him this entire time, but she hadn't even properly introduced herself! "I'm so sorry!" She cried. "This was really rude of me! My name is Molly, and it's good to finally meet you more than just in passing!"

Properly pooped, Melvin was ready for a long shower and a longer nap. Desummoning Saliva, he tucked the red pen into his pocket, his hair too dirty and wet to put her behind his ear, and stepped closer to Molly.

"I'm Melvin Wood. Life Division." If she didn't notice from his now muddy jacket. "It's nice meeting you too. I checked your name on the tournament roster beforehand." Though that wasn't the same as a proper introduction. "You fought really well. Maybe we can spar sometime again when the weather isn't trying to ruin our health and waredrobe."

Pleasantries aside, he was ready to leave. He just could NOT stand being in these clothes any longer with as muddy as they were. "If you'll excuse me. I need to get someplace dry and get cleaned up, and I think Candace wants to say hello to you." He had heard the woman shouting her encouragement from across the field.

Nodding his goodbye, he headed over to Rin. "Let's get out of here. I'm done with this weather and I need a shower." He hoped Rin would get how urgent this was for him, and not take too much offense with him being short with her.
