"Well..." He wasn't sure if he should blame the sudden anxiety the open setting or if it was just riding on the coat tails of embarrassment, but there it was. Bam, like a ton of bricks. "Zia makes a good case for uncorruption, but she and Camelot can't do that, but Iris can..." ...Yeah that sounded stupid and grabby. "...Not that she knows me from Adam or anything, Zee just said you two were probably the best people to ask..." Maybe he should just say forget it and go while he still had cat food left. This little fuzz butt could really pack it away.

The subject was enough to get the cat to sit up as tall as she could, ears perked up to give her the slightest boost in height.
Uncorruption was an odd way of phrasing it, and soon enough the manx offered "Purification tends to be the preferred term... cleansing a starseed of the chaos lingering within it."
It was curious that an agent of the Negaverse seemed to be putting thought into such a possibility. In the case of Psyche, it had become a desperate measure to attempt the purification to prevent her from killing herself.
If she had a tail, it would have been flicking about carefully from side to side as she contemplated his words. "Iris has indeed successfully purified a senshi who was claimed by the Negaverse... but my question to you is... has Zia actually informed you of some of the potential issues that might arise?"

"Given that you have a preferred term for what basically amounts to turning coat on a bunch of angry people with supernatural powers... 'Issues' is a pretty polite way of saying 'Significant Memory Loss'." He couldn't help be a bit sarcastic, but attempted to rein it back in, which was sort of like closing the gate after the angry bull had just stampeded through crushing a few innocent notions underfoot. "Yeah, yeah she did tell me. Which yes does kind of sound like it could make it a bit harder to not get smeared across the landscape by Zinkenite, but, yeah."

Though the cat kept a pleasant smile upon her maw and a pleasant tone to her voice, she couldn't help but tilt her head at his slightly more brash way of phrasing the facts.
"...well... not everyone is familiar with the fact that purification can lead to memory loss. In fact, we did not even know that one until we rescued a senshi from the Negaverse. In the past we have heard many advocates for purification, but very few realize how serious a decision it truly can be."
If there was one regret ********* held close to her heart, it was the fact that Psyche had not really been given the choice or the time to think things through.
It led to one very obvious question: "Might I ask why you are considering the side switch in the first place? It isn't that I am trying to discourage you... I genuinely am glad to hear you are considering the matter. I apologize, but sometimes I can't help being as curious as a kitten!" ********* let out an odd mix of a purr and a giggle.

"It's..." Oh hell, where did he start? What did you tell someone about something like that? "It's... complicated. Long story short I guess... I know a dead end road when I'm on one. Zink doesn't see me as anything more than an intensely stupid attack dog. I'm not going to get killed on behalf of a shithead kid who thinks he's a tactical genius, or get thrown under the bus because he's only interested in his pet projects. If you aren't one of his favorite couple people you might as well ******** right off apparently, and unless I ditch the Chaos, he is always... always going to have the power to snap his fingers and haul my a** in. It's not exactly a pure motive but at least if I 'purify', then I get to decide for myself if I'm in or out."
Well, that might have just made her write him off entirely, but for all he knew they'd bring in someone who could make him tell the truth anyway, and he just didn't see the point in making up a pure and noble bullshit spiel about having seen the light or something. Not when he wasn't really sure there was a light to be seen about any of this.

His story was not polished, but to the cat, it seemed quite genuine. In fact, the tone and attitude to the story reminded her an awful lot of someone else she knew.
"So..." she said carefully once he seemed finished. "...to summarize... you are looking to make your life your own again?" Perhaps it wasn't all the name calling and cursing that he had used, but in her mind it seemed to be an accurate summary.
She seemed like a lighthearted sort, and soon enough had unleashed another infectious giggle. "...well... I don't know what Zia has told you about me, but truth be told... I am only an adviser, so to speak. Iris can listen to my advice, and she can ignore it. I could try to speak to Iris if you'd like... but I strongly suspect you may want to try speaking to her yourself."
She bobbed her head slightly before winking to Realgar. "If it were up to me, I'd be willing to give you a shot... however... I suspect Iris would prefer you telling her yourself... you know, rather than sending a messenger to do the work for you. She's a very... self-built sort of person." She rolled her eyes towards the sky.
"...I hope you get what I mean anyways..." It was clear to her, but perhaps her wording might have been off. She shrugged and waited to see if she did a good enough job explaining.

"Makes sense. Zee kinda figured I should try talking to you in order to get a chance to meet her. I mean, I can't imagine there's a long list of senshi of any level who go 'hey sure I'd love to meet a random Nega-agent. Talking to Zee and Camelot is one thing, talking to a frigin' Princess is kinda different. But yeah. Yeah that's pretty much it." Cheerful little thing, *********, she at least had some decent information he could use, but he still wasn't sure how to meet up with Iris, or if she'd be interested in meeting him. "I don't even know where to start as far as getting in touch with her, especially since I'm not exactly trying to advertize this bologna."

"Mmmm... bologna..."
The cat licked her maw a bit before seeming to shift back to the actual conversation taking place.
"...isn't a princess just a person?" Certainly, Iris might have had wings on occasion, but that wasn't the point. "I will be honest, she does not exactly seem to like spreading the fact that she is a princess around. I guess not the sort who likes to be put on a pedestal and all..."
However, it would be pointless to say that Iris was hiding this fact, especially after that meeting which was ambushed a while back.
"...now... here is a question for you... would Zia have a way to contact you directly? If I were to talk to Iris, I have no way to contact you. You know... me being a cat and all..." There was nothing wrong with feigning a bit of ignorance when it came to her technological know-how.

"Well, not a direct direct way, but she knows where I hang out." He knew she had a cellphone but he never tried to find out the number. I mean, she has a cell, but I don't know the number.

"Hmmmm..."
She tilted her head to one side, then switched to tilting it to the other. "It's not perfect, but I suppose that will do!"
With that, she humbly bowed her head forward, nodding in his general direction. "I'd like to thank you for the food, but now I do need to continue on with my rounds. I will keep in touch... through Zia."
Before she began to trot off on her way, she added two words.
"I promise!"
With that, she began to scamper off, her collar's bell jingling as she moved. Too bad the sounds of the streets were too noisy for such a cheerful sound.
