Javier Cross Pegasaurus Rex Javier Cross How do we start by spreading the word on what to talk about, starting from the discussions from the intros? This could be used to answer any concerns any newcomers may possess, in fact.
Are you talking about discussing something in this guild? Generally, you can just create a topic and post your opinion. Other people will come and share their ideas if they have any.
Or are you asking that your thread be used as a general discussion on Gaia or the Guild?A general discussion for the group as a whole, actually. I actually love this idea. Thank you for creating the topic, Javier. I rather see this as a free-form discussion thread and a place where ideas and solutions for various issues are born. Nice job!!

We need to make them care, show them how this can affect them negatively. We don't necessarily have to give names of who might be responsible, though we could hint at it subtly. Maybe even lure those who are responsible to reveal themselves due to them thinking we are "attacking" them, though we will give no names. The most brightest option I got on me is that we make a petition to hire a lot of Volunteer JavaScript Professional Users among Gaia's Regulars, then use the Petition to get a contest operating up and running, then see where we can go from there. Its that kind of idea I am proposing with MistyMary24 and if/when she arrives, more can be explained. Seems like a good plan. emotion_c8 I can't wait to hear the details on it. Talk with MistyMary24 and we can expand somewhere, I am sure. emotion_kirakira I'll try, though I think I will not be of much help. Java scripts, as well as technology, is not my forte. sad I'm better at the sociology aspect of this dilemma. Many older gaians have either quit or are inactive, the new gaians are ignorant of what is currently going on, then there are the gaians who willingly give in because, why not? Many don't know the full details of what is going on. I believe that many could benefit from the information I have read throughout the guild's forums, as well as other forums I have explored. Many are catching on, but not as fast as I hope they would and many know, but don't seem to see how this truly affects them. Many are also kids who really just don't know how to handle their money/gold and gaia is taking advantage of that. sad Oh how far this place has fallen... If CytheriaSaDiablo were with us, she'd be alarmed over what's going on. emo I'm best-suited to serve as the resident wake-up call person for a lot of people at once, I have some moments with the social aspects with how Capitalism and Corporationalism are not one and the same despite what the ignorant would have us believe, but I don't specialize in it. I might have moments of the tech-based aspects of it, but I don't specialize in that bit either. MistyMary24 joining in would be appreciated. Indeed it would. And now I must go, my pillow is calling me. emotion_zzz This conversation was actually quite refreshing, I haven't talked to someone so intellectual in a couple months, and of that I do appreciate greatly. With due respect to not-so-offensive booty grabbers out there, I can't say you can find reasonable people being commonplace in Booty Grab threads at the Aquarium, sadly. sad
The players of Booty Grab could help fund the cause if swayed in reason.
The opposite story can be found with most Role-plays worth their salt though, most of the time.

I've been a bit sparse for a bit myself as I sell off what little I have left on Gaia. GADS! All these years on a site only to come down to selling everything off and taking it back down to basics.

Nobody else except for her found out how integral it is to know that Gaia online was born from and powered by JavaScripts.
Its basically because of her I lurk in a place like this, more or less.

Just thought I'd share - we should have a avatar protest. The admin would definitely notice if every single gaian protesting was dressed as I am now, and I'm actually selling off everything else and storing my gold until the inflation has gone because gold users are now completely out of their league with all this GCash nonsense.

We could gather signs en masse and recruit anyone who still remembers what the first Chat services were like, free gold and everything the longer the conversation holds up.
