She stopped in her tracks. Amanda knew for sure now that she wasn’t alone. Cocking her gun she looked around slowly. Still nothing seemed to come in view. Maybe she could call the person’s bluff. Taking a deep breath she called out. “I see you. Step on out with your hands where I can see them. I’m a member if the police force so if you know what’s best then you had better listen.” It was hard to keep her voice from cracking as she spoke. But the growl was a dead giveaway. Her prey or what she believed to be her prey was close. “I’ll give you till the count of three then I start shooting.” Amanda added as she lifted the gun. Both hands cupped the handle with her finger ready to pull the trigger with no hesitation.
The attack on her family and her time serving the Union had taught her one thing… she was dealing with monsters that deserved no mercy. Even if that was truly the case she always found a way to deal with each case uniquely. A kill wasn’t always needed; sometimes a bargain could be struck. It wasn’t something that the Union approved of but it kept her alive. But to this point the her target has been less than forthcoming which leads her to believe that it couldn’t be reasoned with.

As she called out for a person he stepped up behind her with a hand held up. “Looking for someone?” he asked with a deep smooth voice. He made sure he oozed persons around her. His aura was thick with awe as he tried to dominate the environment. “You can put the gun down. I’m not here to hear you.” Ash said calmly, trying to get a good fix on her eyes. If he could daze her then it would be a simple meal. “I a sure you that I’m not the one you hunt woman.” Reaching slowly over her shoulder he gently pushed down on the gun so it would be pointing at the ground once again. “Why don’t you turn around and relax.” With each work he was working his charm. “Do you have a name madam police officer?” His teeth ached as he started to lean in. “Everything is fine.” He whispered. “Nothing is going to hurt you.” He could already taste her. The smell was exciting. He could already tell there was something different about her. Carefully he started to bit into her neck. Her flesh against his fangs almost made him shiver.

Rapier enhanced to super hardness and sharpness alongside a lightning enchantment if he forces his will into it which drains him rather quickly, ornate design with runes etched into the blade. Luger P08 enhanced to be able to draw it's wielder's blood as ammunition, blood red runes along the barrel and on the grip. SS Dagger. All obfuscated to remain hidden from others. And a Telescopic Baton.
Leaning back on a wall nearby, Heinrich continued to observe the scene before him. The hunter becoming the hunted it seemed, though it could change at anytime. Her gamble of calling out to the hidden foe had nearly worked on him, for a second he had actually considered if he had been seen. Her senses were sharp that much was clear. But a lone hunter faced with a predator greater than even himself? She was not likely to escape this unharmed. The Vampire wanted to hunt, and she was alone. Unless backup came rushing in soon, she was done for. The man may not kill her, but he also just might. Then again, if her will was strong she might just put up an interesting fight. Though at the first gunshot things would get complicated quickly.
Disciplines:
-Can enhance his senses to razor edges, and with that can see in the dark. Vulnerable to overstimulation when used. -Capable of reading a person's aura to determine emotional state and supernatural type and influence. -Can read psychic imprints on objects and locations left behind by powerful emotion. -Telepathy allows him to read a person's mind and probe it for information, and can even send mental messages. However strong minds can resist the intrusion if they can notice it and line of sight must be kept at all times. -Capable of extending his mind to his target's and sending a sort of mental pulse to cause pain and hindering the target's movement and ability. Can be resisted as Telepathy and causes a drain on his mental powers for a short time.
-Able to hide objects from the minds of others, causing their senses to ignore its existence. Meaning they will not see or feel the object. Certain powers can detect and counter this. Video is not affected and will capture the object regardless. -His very nature as a Vampire is hidden, his aura appearing normal and his Predator's Taint being undetectable. In addition in the back of his mind he constantly compares the present to the past to guard against mind and memory tampering. Lastly he's able to set part of his mind side, making using his mental powers much harder, to suck in any kind of tampering.
-Ritualist, Heinrich is a master of rituals. these rituals can have nearly any affect one can think of, however the greater the affect the rarer the reagent must be. In addition to incantations in usually a dead language and magic circles of complex natures that must be exact. Possibly along with certain locations and times or events that it must be done under.

Most hunters are nothing more and mere humans, but a few have an edge to their fight. This edge isn’t supernatural nor can it trump any supernatural ability but it help to give a slight hand up in the fight against the monsters that go bump in the dark.
Be Calm- This ability is just as it sounds. She radiates inner calm inhibiting drastic action and slowing down reaction times, while also stifling anger, relieving fear and lessening senses of urgency.( It can’t brain wash or make a person do something against their will. But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
Her voice was soft, almost meek as she spoke. "My name is Amanda." She found herself heading over the information he wanted freely. Her mind was screaming out for her to run. Almost against her will she was slowly lowering her gun. Fear and panic rose up in the back of her throat as she realized the hunter was now the hunted. Each word he spoke seem to flow from him like a gentle melody. Amanda close her eyes realizing there is little she can do to break the hold he seemed to have on her. It wasn't until she felt his teeth on her neck that her eyes shot open and she spun on her toes. The gun loaded with silver bullets was still pointed to the ground with her finger on the trigger. And her legs didn't seem to want to move from that place. Even with his calming influence, her eyes still glared out with bitter hatred. Her voice cracked as she replied. "Forgive me if I don't believe you." A drop of blood ran down her neck as she spoke. The sweet metallic smell of her potent blood filled the air. In her mind she is telling herself to squeeze the trigger. If nothing else the sound of gunshots with the police out to investigate. Amanda felt foolish allowing herself to be trapped like this. She struggled with all of her will to not surrender completely to the monster before her.

A soft whistling came from up the alleyway as Cody paced up towards the scene. He let out an audible sigh as he reached into his slung over backpack and drew out a Christmas bulb as he stopped and turned his left side towards them. "Merry Christmas, Vampire.", he called out as he flicked off the cap to the bulb and threw it at them both with a baseball pitcher's accuracy!

Ash chuckled as he watched the young police officer fight against his will. One thing for sure was a woman had spunk. The smell of her blood drove him insane with hunger. His silver eyes flashed the dim light as he gazed into hers. "Let me drink." He commanded. With his gaze locked he knew that she wouldn't be able to stop him now. As long as he didn't try to kill her she wouldn't be able to break free. He leaned in once more sinking his fangs to the same spot he originally started to bite. Ash moaned at the taste of her rich blood. He would have drained her dry if the stranger hadn't come in when he did. Ash pulled back, letting her droop to the ground. He hissed at the man before running off.

It seemed she may not have been as strong as he thought, then again she was contending with a powerful vampire so it's not like she had much choice. However, just when it seemed over, a stranger appeared and hurled, of all things, Christmas bulbs at him. Heinrich had to hold in his laughter, of all the things that could have happened this was beyond unexpected. He even threw in a line like he was on TV or a movie. But he had to hand it to him, it worked. The vampire ran off into the night, possibly out of concern for the Masquerade or of reinforcements. Regardless of the reason, Heinrich's purpose here was unchanged. Observation. Cloaked from the minds of others still, he waited and watched. A slight smile and the myriad of events that could still come.

She was weak and woozy from the attack. She sat there on the ground for a minute, trying to get her barings once more. A few curses hissed out as she cupped her neck and looked around. Her gun was still in her other hand and ready to go off. "Mother F... I'll kill every last one of those blood sucking..." She muttered words that would make a sailor blush as she slowly picked herself up. Amanda looked to the stranger and nodded in thanks. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" She demanded to know. After the attack she wasn't in a happy or trusting mood. More than anything she was mad at herself for being caught off guard and manipulated like that. Her mind raced as she wondered what to do about the vampire or the stranger. She removed her finger from the trigger as her hand started to shack do to fatigued and anger. She really didn't wait for a response as she turned and started for her apartment. The think sticky fluid dribbled down her neck for a bit before stopping. "I need to get home." she muttered to herself.

He was buzzed from the woman's blood. he licked his lips as he darted down the street. His senses were on fire as he moved. Ash couldn't believe someone had blood like that in the city. He would have to do something to keep her for himself. He made it to his motorcycle and hopped oh. With a drunken grin he road off for the park. If she was still there then he was going to snatch her up. A few simply suggestions would insure she was his own personal feeder.

Cody breathed out a sigh as she got to her feet. "A 'thank you' would be nice but that is too much to hope for from normal people.", he said before sighing so she could hear this one. Cody watched her as she questioned him and start wondering off without waiting for an answer. Cody paced off after her, knowing a lone hunter is a dead one. Especially in her case. Amanda sighed as he looked over to see him trailing her. "Sorry.. thank you." she said sounding more than tired. "So, got a name?" She asked heading down the street and returning the gun to its hustler. Pulling out her phone she made a quick call to the union only to find out she found the wrong vampire. After hanging up she pulled out a pack of cigarettes, lit one up, and offered one to Cody. "I'm Amanda." she said. "My car is around the corner." being in no condition to drive, she tossed her keys to Cody once they got close. "I live on the other side of down town." she made sure to give him instructions to get there.

Cody followed after her to her car. "Name's Cody.", he answered her question before shaking his head at the cigarette to decline it. Cody caught the keys as she tossed them to him when they rounded the corner to her car. He got in and started the car up before driving her home. "Any reason you are out and about, alone, hunting vampires, Amanda?", Cody questioned as he kept his eyes on the road.

"How do you know about vampires." she asked as they drove off. His question didn't caught her off guard as much as his bluntness. he was at the scene which made her wander why he was there. "My partner was going to meet me but never should." She asked, keeping it simple. resting her head back against the seat she closed her eyes. "Still pisses me off he got the drop like that. Turn at the next light." Amanda said as she cracked one eye open. At this time of night the streets where fairly clear except for the people leaving the bars and the strip clubs.

Cody chuckled a bit at her question. "Kind of hard to not notice the recent killings.", he stated as he passed through the light then made the left turn. "It happens to the best of us. At least, once in a while.", he stated as he breathed out. He drove the car onto the street and glanced about as he drove up the street.

Ash made it back to the park to find she was gone. No matter, he would find her again. The sweet smell of her blood still lingered in the air. "Ah, my little yummy hunter, who where you looking for out here?" He asked. "Your lucky you didn't die tonight." He grinned at the thought before tasking his own stroll. Maybe he could find what she had missed.
